Galatians 4:15-17, “Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me. Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.”
This is a remarkable passage of Scripture. The book of Acts tells us that the Apostle Paul made three missionary journeys. Each journey started from the city of Jerusalem and ended back at the city of Jerusalem. On the first missionary journey, the apostle traveled to Asia Minor (which is the modern-day country of Turkey). On Paul's second and third missionary journeys, he traveled with the Gospel through Asia Minor to Greece.
Paul said the Galatian churchgoers would have donated their eyes to him, if it were medically possible, so that he could continue laboring more effectively for Christ. Yet, Paul is frustrated that things have changed. The circumstances have deteriorated! These dear folks who would have donated their eyes to Paul now consider him their enemy! Galatians 4:16, “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” You couldn't make this stuff up! I mean, why would someone count you as their enemy for telling them the truth that is for their own good? In the case of the Galatians, the information Paul was giving them (that offended them so much) was regarding God's plan of salvation. Wow!
Please don't miss this dear reader. We're talking about the difference between spending eternity walking the streets of gold in Heaven, versus suffering in the burning fires and torments of Hell forever. The truth which Paul had given them greatly offended them, so much so that they counted Paul as their enemy. This is mind-blowing!!! Paul was looking out for their welfare. He didn't want to see them cast into the Lake of Fire one day because they'd been deceived to follow a false gospel. Paul was their best friend in the world! Yet, they considered Paul a threat to their churches, and they blackballed and shunned him as a troublemaker.
Are you as shocked as I am? This is crazy! I mean, the greatest soulwinner the world had ever known—the Apostle Paul, who had started these churches in Galatia and taught them the Gospel—is now public enemy number one! Goodnight in the morning!!! How does that even happen? How does a Bible preacher go from being so respected that his followers are willing to pluck out their eyes to give him, to despising him as a lying false prophet for telling the truth? This shows the deceptive nature of the human heart. Jeremiah 17:9, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”
Throughout the Bible we learn that humanity is easily tricked by sin, self and the Devil. Eve was deceived by the serpent in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:1-7). Cain was deceived by self-righteousness. Isaac was deceived by Rebekah and Jacob. Jacob was deceived by his wicked sons concerning what really happened to his wife Rachel's son, Joseph. I could go on and on naming people who were deceived in the Word of God. Proverbs 16:25, “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”
One of the most disturbing passages of Scripture gives us an account of a group of deceived false prophets. Matthew 7:21-23, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” It is clear to see that they were very sincere. They had good intentions, but the highway to Hell is paved with good intentions.
It is sadly an inherent part of our sinful human nature to believe lies, if those lies appeal to and satisfy our senses, ambitions, conscience, pride and desires. The crafty serpent (Lucifer) lied to Eve, appealing to her desire to control her own life instead of God. By doing so, the serpent knew that it would be much easier to convince Eve to disobey God. She rationalized that eating the forbidden fruit would be “good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise” (Genesis 3:6b). Lucifer was able to compel Eve to sin by appealing to her vanity, pride and selfish desires.
Likewise, the Galatian churchgoers were proud. They wanted to be accepted in the religious community. They had the same problem as Pensacola Christian College (PCC) today. PCC wants to be accepted by their peers among thousands of Independent Baptist Churches. The vast majority of Baptist churches today have succumbed to the lie of Satan that you must “turn from your sinful bad habits” to get to Heaven. That is another gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). Not one verse in the inspired King James Bible teaches to forsake our sinful ways to be saved. Jesus Christ died on a cross to pay for our sins (Romans 5:6-9), He does not demand that we first commit to reform our life of sin to receive God's free gift of eternal life.
The True Gospel of Free Grace
By God's grace, I have been faithful to preach THE TRUTH of a free grace Gospel, without works. The Gospel is the “Good News” that:
- Jesus died on a cross to pay our debt of sin.
- He was buried.
- Jesus physically resurrected from the dead three days later.
These THREE elements comprise “the gospel.” We don't hear these truths emphasized enough in pulpits, tracts, videos, radio and books today. God pity the bad pastors who refuse to contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3). By God's grace, I am telling THE TRUTH.
Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty!
Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.
Turning away from sinful ways would be a work. Faith puts all of the merit where it belongs, on the object of our faith, Jesus and His work.
If to “repent” means to forsake our sinful ways TO BE SAVED, but Jesus already paid for our sins by dying on the cross, then what are we repenting from?
The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.
Anyone who comes to God as a needy sinner, receiving Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that Jesus was buried, but then miraculously raised up bodily from the dead the third day, is saved. Nothing more is required. Just believe that Jesus did it all for you.
The Cult At Harvest Baptist Church On Guam
For telling THE TRUTH, I have been kicked out of numerous churches, then ostracized, shunned, despised, rejected and banned from returning. I was forced out of the shameful Harvest Baptist Church ion Guam in 2014. I lost my church family. Harvest's senior pastor Marty Herron in his ungodly pride, arrogance and woeful theological ignorance threw me under the bus, and left me for dead. Marty Herron is an evil false prophet!
Because Pastor Herron was the Lordship Salvation cult's leader, he successfully turned all my neighbour's that still attended Harvest against me. For the next several years when I regularly waved to greet my neighbours (many whom worked on staff at Harvest's religious school), they refused to acknowledge me as a human being. I was sinfully ostracized like Rudolph The Red-nosed Reindeer (for my bright glowing King James Bible only red nose). Harvest Baptist Church on Guam used dozens of different corrupt Bible revisions, alongside the King James Bible. It was a house of confusion. Acts 19:32, “Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.” Satan is the author of confusion, not God (1st Corinthians 14:33).
Marty Herron and company (from Bob Jones University cult where he graduated) have MUCH blood on their hands for preaching another gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!! You should see the hateful looks that I still get when I go to churches, from churchgoers whose foolish pastors haven't warned them about anything. These naïve churchgoers (I intentionally am reluctant to call them “Christians”) despise those like me who contend for the faith. They look at my website ministry and count me as their enemy, just like they did the Apostle Paul, merely because he TOLD THE TRUTH.
The Cult At Pensacola Christian College
When I moved from the island of Guam to Pensacola in 2021, I chose to attend Campus Church at PCC. Boy was that a big mistake! Their ungodly senior pastor Jeff Redlin was abusive verbally. He scolded me for sharing my broken life with him, and mentioning that I hoped to find a wife after being divorced for 15 years. What a wicked selfish jerk! PCC are out of touch with reality. Once divorced, they insanely think at PCC that you're never allowed to remarry. In sharp contrast to PCC's lunacy, the Bible teaches that to avoid the sin of fornication, every man should have his own wife (1st Corinthians 7:1). By refusing to accept single people who desire to remarry, PCC are promoting fornication; just as the wicked Roman Catholic church does by forbidding marriage (1st Timothy 4:1-3). PCC is a cult!
I was kicked out of Campus Church and banned from returning (as of August 2nd, 2022). Jeff Redlin and company have MUCH blood on their hands, for preaching another gospel; and for treating divorced people like garbage. God's judgment is upon the self-righteous cult at PCC!
I have been attending numerous Baptist churches around Pensacola. I meet some hostile people in churches, who idolize the cult at PCC and are upset at me for daring to criticize the gods at PCC. They give me dirty looks. One man literally pointed at me with his finger during a revival service, accusing me of judging others. It just shows how woefully brainwashed he has become by his pastor, another PCC idolater.
In case you don't know, there are thousands of religious people who sing nothing but praises for egotistical PCC leadership and their shameful Campus Church pastors. When one guy like me comes along (a courageous truth-teller) who criticizes and exposes them, all hell breaks loose. Some rotten people want me banned from every church I attend. I am counted as their “enemy,” just like they sinfully did to the Apostle Paul for telling the truth.
I get dirty looks from people all the time, just like the prophet Jeremiah did. God told Jeremiah not to be dismayed by their faces. Jeremiah 1:8, “Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.” Jeremiah 1:17, “Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.” I don't care if every churchgoer, pastor's wife and pastor hates, detests, despises, rejects and criticizes me, I WON'T STOP PREACHING THE TRUTH!!!
I have received many dirty looks from people at church for handing them a hard copy of Michael P. Bowen's excellent book in defense of a free grace Gospel, "I NEVER KNEW YOU." The book exposes ten big name false prophets, popular preachers who embellish God's simple plan of salvation. Most brainwashed churchgoers nowadays cannot handle THE TRUTH that they have been deceived by Satan.
Sadly, 99% of pastors just want to build the church's attendance higher. They want to generate more income, always looking to add more tithing members to the church. Less than 1% of pastors today are willing to lose church members and money in favor of THE TRUTH. So no one wants to cause waves, especially with a Goliath institution like PCC. If local churches get of PCC's bad side, it can greatly hurt their ministry, considering that PCC does a lot to help local churches. But just because PCC does “many wonderful works” (Matthew 7:21-23), doesn't justify them preaching a Satanic counterfeit plan of salvation.
I refuse to go along to get along with some giant pompous organization like Pensacola Christian College, who have grown too big for their britches. PCC's leaders are cocky and have huge egos. Their leaders are full of arrogance. Evidence to support this fact is that I am presently banned from attending their Campus Church. Only religious CULTS selectively care about people, deciding who matters and who doesn't. ALL LIVES MATTER to God. Sadly, at PCC only SOME LIVES MATTER, just like with the Calvinists.
Telling THE TRUTH Makes Enemies
Telling THE TRUTH upsets a lot of people. 1st Kings 18:17, “And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel?” When you tell THE TRUTH, some people will become offended and get mad at you. Truth is only HATE to those who hate the TRUTH. PCC ought not be preaching wrong repentance. PCC ought not be preaching Lordship Salvation (which is a form of Calvinism). PCC ought not be wickedly bidding Godspeed to the Calvinist, Lordship Salvation, cult at Bob Jones University (BJU).
Kindly said, PCC is in a cesspool of iniquity and a rotten mess today! They are so arrogant that they refuse to listen to reason. I kindly tried to talk with Pastor Redlin in 2021 and 2022, but he was belligerent and abusive, refusing to heed THE TRUTH. I gave him my mobile phone number so we could talk, but Jeff Redlin is a coward. He has blood on his hands and must answer to God for corrupting the Gospel (Galatians 6:7; Hebrews 4:13). Since PCC leadership wickedly sanctions his carnality and heresy, they are willing accomplices. God's curse is upon PCC, BJU and anybody else who spreads lies and false teachings. You don't have to be willing to forsake your sinful bad habits to be saved (as PCC falsely teaches). That is reformation, not Bible repentance!
It is in our sinful human nature to merely go along with the crowd. This weakness in human character makes it very easy for cult leaders to thrive. Pensacola Christian College (PCC) has a cult stronghold on many churches in the city of Pensacola, and they know it. PCC are bullies, just like they are bullying me! Because I don't go along with PCC's religious circus, I am despised and hated, bullied from returning Campus Church. You should see the looks of contempt that I receive from people, especially the younger brainwashed students at PCC. If looks could kill I'd be dead.
Telling the truth has never been popular. It was telling the truth that landed John Bunyan (1628-1688) in prison for 12 years. Yet, when I told the same Gospel truth, I was banned from attending PCC's Campus Church. I kindly told PCC's senior pastor Jeff Redlin that they are wrong on repentance. In their Foundation's Class, Campus Church errantly teaches, quote: “Repentance is a change of mind resulting in a change of behavior.” But don't take my word for it, here is an actual screenshot from their Foundation's Class...
I handed a hard copy of Michael P. Bowen's book, "I NEVER KNEW YOU," to a young ministerial PCC graduate recently. The book offended him! You should see the angry faces he makes at me. I can feel his contempt. This is what THE TRUTH does to people. PCC are wickedly pulling on the same rope as the Devil. They are wrong on repentance; and therefore, wrong on the Gospel. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!
I just wrote a blog exposing Evangelist Johnny Pope, who preaches a counterfeit Gospel. Johnny Pope was invited in 2024 to preach at PCC. Birds of a feather flock together. Mr. Pope preaches a false plan of salvation, as does PCC. For speaking THE TRUTH, I am despised, hated and rejected by these wicked institutions. Only one viewpoint is allowed at PCC, theirs. I make no apologies for TELLING THE TRUTH. I make no apologies for offending those who reject knowledge (Hosea 4:6).
Carefully notice in Hosea 4:6 that it was the Jewish religious leaders (the priests, pastors) who deliberately rejected God's knowledge (truth). PCC and their incompetent Campus Church pastors reject THE TRUTH. I am just a dog, but the Bible says “for a living dog is better than a dead lion.” (Ecclesiastes 9:4b). Pastor Jack Hyles was a lion, but his time on earth is done. I am just a dog, but I am still alive here on earth, and the Bible says a living dog is better than a dead lion! I may be a dog, but by God's grace I intend to keep barking at the wolves in sheep's clothing at PCC, BJU and other pseudo-Christian institutions today! It may be a light thing to you to preach another gospel, but I know it is a matter of critical importance!
Thousands of people can support a religious institution like PCC, and everyone is okay with that; but just let one truth-teller like me criticize PCC for the horrible way that they disregard unwanted people, and their false plan of salvation, and that guy is counted as the enemy (just as Paul was counted as the enemy in Galatians 4:16). “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not” (Isaiah 53:3). This prophetic passage of Scripture is speaking about Jesus. Why was Jesus despised and rejected of men? The Bible says it is because He told THE TRUTH...
John 8:40-46, “But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?”
I don't claim to be a good Christian. I am just a redeemed sinner, undeserving of God's grace. Satan wants us to SHUT UP; God wants us to SPEAK UP. I am humbly speaking up! If that means being hated, despised, belittled, shunned and avoided by professed "Christians" in the churches, then so be it.
I heard a local Baptist pastor warn that God will severely punish anyone who dares to go against a church. I humbly felt that his statement was directed toward me, since my website ministry is infamous...lol. It is no secret that I preach against many "churches," taking a biblical stand against them, exposing their wicked pastors. I thought about what that pastor said and quickly realized that he was wrong in his thinking. What he was really foolishly saying behind veneered words is that individual believers don't have a right to call out a corrupt preacher or a bad church. If a pastor is wrong on God's simple plan of salvation, somebody needs to “rebuke him sharply” that he might be sound in the faith (Titus 1:9-14).
When I humbly and kindly befriended the pastors of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam in 2014 about their support of the Devil's Bible revisions, their wrong repentance and their Lordship Salvation, they forced me out of their cult and banned me from returning. I lost my church family in a moment and was ostracized for years to come, thrown under the bus and left for dead. It felt like a divorce. What was my offence? What was my crime? I just told THE TRUTH!!!
