Beware Of Deadly Religious Modernism

1st Timothy 6:20-21, “O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.”

"Modernism" in a biblical context refers to a theological movement that seeks to reconcile religious beliefs with modern scientific and philosophical ideas, often questioning traditional interpretations of the Holy Bible. It is characterized by a tendency to view the Scripture through the lens of contemporary thought, which can lead to a diminished authority of the inspired Holy Bible in some interpretations. Modernism is of the Devil.

A good example of religious modernism is when we hear so-called "experts" on television or social media teaching that prayer is a good "therapy." No, prayer is not a therapy! When you pray, a literal real God is listening. God is a person, just like you and me, who were created in God's image (Genesis 1:26-27). I do not believe in the "power of prayer," I believe in the power of God!

Modernism Denies A Miracle Working God

Years ago I purchase Cecil B. Demille's 1956 epic movie, 'THE TEN COMMANDMENTS,' starring Charlton Heston and Yul Brynner. Most people, like me, love the scene where God parts the Red Sea. As a child, that miraculous scene captivated me when I saw it on television. The DVD movie is narrated by historian Katherine Orrison, if you choose to turn on the commentary feature. I watched the entire 2:40 hour movie twice. First, I watched it in normal mode; and then I watched it again with the commentary turned on.

I was very disturbed as I listened to Katherine Orrison's horrible lack of faith in a miracle working God. All she does throughout the entire commentary is attempt to provide plausible natural excuses to discredit the miracles of God. This is modernism, which seeks to undermine the power of God! This 1956 movie (The Ten Commandments) was the 8th highest-grossing movie in North America for 2025, adjusted for inflation, amassing a gross revenue of $2,895,000,000. Wow! Sadly, the film's historian Katherine Orrison is a modernist, who has sinfully attributed all the the miracles in Egypt to natural causes, denying God's power.

Katherine Orrison suggests that the waters in Egypt turned red due to a nearby volcanic eruption that spewed colored lava, thus changing the water's color. She then speculates that the contaminated waters drove the frogs and locusts from their natural habitat into the Egyptian's homes, and that the volcanic rocks were toxic and killed wildlife, making the rivers to stink. The fiery hail is also attributed to volcanic activity.

It is tragic that people refuse to accept the Bible as literal. The Bible tells us that the waters in Egypt were turned into literal blood, not just given a red color. The Bible says that God cursed the Egyptians with painful boils all over their bodies, which a volcano did not do. Miss Orrison's lack of faith in a miracle working God is disgraceful in a movie that meant so much to Cecil B. Demille (1881-1959).

Mr. Demille believed that God could do the IMPOSSIBLE, and the good LORD still does today. Life itself is impossible without God. Look around you and you'll see the impossible. This universe would fall apart in seconds if God stopped doing the impossible. Acts 17:25 says that God giveth to all life and breath.

Our planet Earth is speeding through space around the sun at an astounding 67,100 mph. This speed is equivalent to traveling 18.6 miles per second! You could go from the United States to the Philippines in about 7 minutes. We don't feel it because we are traveling at the same speed, going along for the ride, just as you wouldn't feel the speed of a car speeding at 100 mph if you were a passenger. It is that wonderful 67,100 mph movement of the Earth that prevents our planet from being drawn into the sun by gravity. Only God could have designed our Solar System to be so intricately balanced, orderly and maintained. Only God's omnipotent power holds our Solar System together! Only a fool would dare say that all this just happened.

There is nothing any more evil than deliberately making a movie to deny the Savior, teaching that Jesus' virgin mother Mary was raped by a Roman soldier, blaspheming the Word of God. Paul Verhoeven is going to split Hell wide open the second he dies, and at age 74 (born 1938) he's not too far away from meeting His making. What a fool. These wicked Hollywood producers and directors aren't just making movies, they're indoctrinating society and turning people away from the Lord. Hundreds-of-millions of people are going to see JESUS OF NAZARETH when it comes out, and it will led many people further into despair and doubt. Romans 10:17 says faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

And likewise, foolishness like this leads people astray as Colossians 2:8 warns, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” The word “spoil” in Colossians 2:8 is the Greek word sulagogeo which means “to lead away as booty, that is, (figuratively) seduce.” Booty is goods or money obtained illegally.

Hence, Satan wants to seduce people away from Jesus Christ through philosophy and vain deceit, through worldly established principles (such as humanism and evolution) and the traditions of men. Notice that the Bible directs us to Jesus Christ. Amen! We learn about Jesus in the Scriptures, which is exactly what Jesus said in John 5:39, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”

I'm sick of hearing about the “therapy” of prayer. My friend, God answers prayer because He exists. Prayer is taught as a therapy because most people don't believe in a living real God who answers prayer, in a personal God who performs miracles. I know my God is real, and He can do anything! My God is so big, so strong and so mighty, there's nothing my God cannot do!

You Can Draw Near To Your Creator

A popular new age heathen mindset in today's wicked world is to merely claim to believe that “God” exists in all of nature, as an energy force, or that God exists in all of us; and not as an individual person that we can communicate with, trust in or get to know. Yet, the inspired Holy Bible teaches in James 4:8-10, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”

But before you or anyone can draw near to God, you need to be born again. God loves you dear reader. We are all guilty sinners (Romans 3:10-23). That is why God gave humanity the Old Testament law, as a measuring stick by which when compared, we all fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:19-23). God sent His only begotten Son into the world, to die as a criminal on Calvary's cross to pay a debt of sin that He did not owe. Jesus paid our debt!

The Bible says that whereas no human being would ever sacrifice their life for an evil person, Jesus did (Romans 5:6-9). God demonstrated His unconditional love for each and every sinner on Calvary's cross. Please don't allow the corrupt New IFB led by hate preacher Steven Anderson to deceive you into thinking that we should hate unrepentant sinners for whom Christ died, human beings created in the very image of God.

Beware Of Modernism's Dismissal Of God's Truth

Modernists are continually trying to undermine God's Word, looking for ways to attribute divine miracles to natural events. Please don't eat the forbidden fruit! Don't take the bait.

The Shameful Sin Of Women Wearing Pants

1st Timothy 2:9-10, “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.”

Titus 2:4-5, “That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.”

In April of 2025, Pastor Brad Moffett of the FAMILY BAPTIST CHURCH in Pensacola treated I and my wife like garbage in his office. We had been invited for a different reason, but the unethical pastor did a Bait & Switch tactic on us, choosing instead to censure my website ministry and slander Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001).

Pastor Jack Hyles is our hero of the faith. My wife Alice was saved in 1975 while riding one of the church buses which the First Baptist Church of Hammond sent to Chicago each week to bring children and families to church. I was saved in 1979 under the preaching of a Hyles-Anderson College graduate at the Northland Baptist Church on Chicago's northside.

So, for Brad Moffett to falsely slander our hero Dr. Hyles wasn't good. In fact, it was downright evil. Pastor Brad (and his ungodly father who also slandered Pastor Hyles) have lost our respect. Today's ungodly pastors have a shameful cavalier attitude toward people. That is, they have a sinful haughty disregard for other's feelings, concerns or the truth.

Thankfully, God sees it all and is still on His throne (Proverbs 15:3; Ecclesiastes 5:8; Romans 12:10-21; Galatians 6:7; Hebrews 4:13). James 5:9, “Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.” They kicked us out of their church because they are wickedly holding a grudge against us. In hindsight, I now realize that they were sinfully holding a grudge against me since 2021 because they despise my fundamentalist Bible preaching on social media. These are wicked fools who are in serious trouble with the Lord.

The Contemptible Family Baptist Church In Pensacola

On April 30th, 2025, the shameful neo-evangelical pastor (Brad Moffett, age 37) had a stack of several dozen of my website ministry articles sitting on his desk, ready to condemn my Bible preaching and be combative. The coward left a door open without our permission, so some unknown man in n adjacent could hear everything. What a wicked pastor, jerk and immature man!

In particular, Brad and his ungodly pants-wearing rebellious wife were upset with my article titled: "Why A Christian Lady Ought Not Wear Pants." My truthful article irked them in the craw! It really hit home, because the pastor's wife and his mother both wears their wicked pants. This is the ungodly way of neo-evangelicals, following Christ afar off like backslidden Peter. But it gets much worse, they are not even saved at Family Baptist Church in Pensacola, those who adhere to the pastors' toxic lie that repentance means to turn away from your sinning to be saved. The church's official Statement of Faith requires that you “Repent of your sins” to get to Heaven.

Pastor Brad (whom I still love dearly since he was my pastor for 45 months) specifically attacked Dr. Jack Hyles for a quote I cited in the aforementioned article, in which Brother Hyles truthfully said: “I don't have a dirty mind, I have a man's mind.” Brad tore down Dr. Hyles, wickedly accusing him of having a carnal sinful mind for saying what he did. According to Brad, he himself doesn't have a dirty mind, and there is something spiritually wrong with Brother Hyles. I tell you truthfully, neither Brad Moffett nor his verbally-abusive father Bobby Moffett are worthy to shine Pastor Hyles' shoes!!! Those two ungodly brutish (lacking good sense) clowns have no business being pastors anywhere. They epitomize everything that is wrong with pastors and churches today, shaming the Lord's precious name.

Bobby Moffett bragged dozens of times in the 45 months that I attended their so-called "church" that he has started four churches during his 60-year lifetime. The pathetic truth is that Bobby has moved his group into four different buildings over the years, and the previous three alleged “churches” DO NOT EXIST today. So, factually, little “Bobby Boy” has started just one church, his church, not the Lord's church. The Lord's church doesn't kick truth-tellers out the door like they do at Family Baptist Church (Galatians 4:16). It literally is just their family and intimate friends, the “us four and no more” church. That's why the place is often 90% empty!

Sadly, Family Baptist Church is wrong on repentance, which makes them a religious cult. I never should have tolerated their damnable heresy as long as I did. That will NEVER happen again, I assure you! I was just lonely to have a church family, willing to overlook our doctrinal differences, but in hindsight I never meant a damn thing to any of them. Since the time that their ungodly pastors kicked I and my wife Alice out of their stupid church on June 22, 2025, all church members have cruelly  blocked our phone number, abandoned and ostracized us, including on social media. This is how cults operate! God damns this cult (Galatians 1:6-9).

This is why ungodly neo-evangelicals like Bobby and Brad Moffett, their ungodly wives, and their ungodly worldly church despise and hate Pastor Jack Hyles, because his truthful Bible preaching PUTS THEM TO UTTER SHAME...

The two immodest pastor's wives refused to even welcome my wife when I and Alice got remarried last year. We had been married for 19 years (1987-2006), divorced for 19 years, and by God's grace we got remarried in May of 2025. We never dated anybody else while apart. I love Alice and am thankful that she has returned to me. God is faithful.

Sadly, Bobby and Brad Moffett despise and hate Pastor Jack Hyles and myself because we are FUNDAMENTALIST Baptist preachers, that they wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole. Although I had never told them about my website ministry, they found it anyway. In hindsight, I now realize that from the very beginning in 2021 they held an ungodly grudge against me because of my fundamentalist Bible ministry. They despise Dr. Jack Hyles, who is still recognized as an influential leader in the independent fundamental Baptist church movement. I THANK GOD for Brother Hyles, a humble country boy from east Texas who grew up in poverty without a father. His dear godly mother Mattie Coystal Hyles (1887-1984) raised him.

Pastors' Bobby and Brad and their church (not the Lord's church) are shameful neo-evangelical apostates! They preach another gospel of partial faith in Christ plus turning from your past sinful ways. This is a FALSE GOSPEL! They wickedly bid Godspeed to damnable false prophets; namely, Ken Ham, Jeff Redlin, John Calvin, R.C. Sproul, Billy and Franklin Graham, et cetera. These men are all WRONG on God's simple plan of salvation. Family Baptist Church doesn't have any scheduled public door-to-door soulwinning (Acts 20:20). They are a disgrace to the name of Jesus Christ. When they boast of their own “love” from the pulpit, it is only done as a ruse to hide the hatred and unwilling to forgive that exists among them. At least the carnal church of Laodicea were correct on the Gospel.

It is a horrible sin for worldly pastor's wives to adorn themselves in pants, when the inspired Holy Bible plainly warns in 1st Peter 2:11, “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.”

When I and Alice met with Pastor Brad Moffett on April 30th, 2025, in his church office, he ignorantly dismissed my factual scientific claim that men's brains are wired differently than women's. Pastor Brad foolishly said, “Show me that in the Bible!” What a retarded thing for a pastor to say when I was speaking about biology! We couldn't believe how naïve, ignorant and brutish this young pastor (who was born 19 days after I and Alice were married in 1987) was being.

In our unpleasant conversation, as we were being ambushed by an ungodly neo-evangelical local pastor, to help Brad understand I kindly made reference to the 1992 book by John Gray titled: “Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus.” I mentioned this book in a sincere attempt to disprove Brad's denial that men and women are wired differently in regard to sexuality and lust, but again he ignorantly spouted, “Show me that in the Bible!” If this were a spiritual matter we could go to the Bible, but it's a simple matter of biology and science.

Contrary to Pastor Brad's woeful ignorance and foolishness, please read this accurate information from Psychology Today...

So, we have confirmation from the secular world that indeed, men and women are wired differently in their brains concerning sexuality and lust. This is why it is imperative that women adorn themselves in MODEST APPAREL as the inspired Word of God commands. For a female to wear modest clothing is not optional, it is a commandment from almighty God!

I am so disgusted with Erika Kirk (Charlie Kirk's widow). She professes to be a Christian who loves Jesus, yet she and the ungodly immodest women she is going on tour with in 2026 (the pathetic 'MAKE HEAVEN CROWDED TOUR') all dress like harlots. Here's the 'GIRLS GONE BIBLE' website, in which you can see Angela Halili and Arielle Reitsma wearing tight sexy pants. Since they look like lesbians the way they are holding hands and ogling each other, I searched online with the names to see if they are queer, which led me to the New York Post. The lewd provocative sensual images of them hanging out in nightclubs are so ungodly that I refuse to even link to them, because it is shameful. Psalms 101:3, “I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.”

Don't you dare tell me as a pastor's wife that God approves of your immodest apparel (pants, Spandex and shorts), when weak men are going to prison everywhere because of “fleshly lusts, which war against the soul” (1st Peter 2:11b). A pastor's wife who wears pants in public is a potential homewrecker! Such ungodly women have blood on their hands and the Lord will hold them accountable for the lusts and broken homes they caused.

Foolish Pastor Defends His Wife's Provocative Clothing

On April 30th, 2025, Pastor Brad in his office attacked my Bible preaching against women wearing pants. Please understand that NOT ONCE did I ever make an issue (nor even bring up the issue) of women wearing pants in all the 45 months that I attended their damn cult. IT WAS THEM, not me, who raised concerns, censuring my faithful righteous preaching. You see, you don't have to give up the world dear saint of God, you just carry a Bible and live godly in Christ Jesus and the world will give you up (2nd Timothy 3:12).

According to Brad Moffett, it shouldn't matter if his wife wears pants because the Bible says in Galatians 5:16, “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” Brad literally said that since a man who walks in the Spirit won't lust, it doesn't matter if his wife wears pants. What an irresponsible, reckless and ungodly thing to say and a poor attitude. Clearly, Brad is henpecked by his wicked wife. Well guess what folks, it DOES MATTER TO GOD if a pastor' wife wears pants! GET RIGHT WITH GOD!!!

What saith the Scripture? 1st Peter 2:11, “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.” The Bible calls the lusts of the flesh a "war against the soul." Yet, that stupid ungodly pastor and his spoiled brat for a wife think they know more than God. While men are struggling in A WAR AGAINST THE SOUL with lust for the opposite sex, ungodly pastor's wives are deliberately wearing pants (and other immodest clothing) to tempt struggling men, making it easier for Satan to destroy them (1st Peter 5:8). You better believe that God cares how women dress!

Pastor Brad brought up Deuteronomy 22:5, “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.” Brad actually tried to use Scottish men wearing kilts as justification for his wife wearing pants. Do you see what Pastor Brad and his immodest wife are doing? They are skirting God's Word (no pun intended). That is, they are sinfully trying to avoid responsibility for the way women dress and appear in public.

Proverbs 7:10, “And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.” There is the “attire of an harlot.” A century ago only prostitutes wore pants in public. A century ago, it was uncommon for women to wear pants in public, and those who did, like prostitutes, often faced social stigma. 

By God's grace, I am going to go to seed preaching the inspired Holy Bible against worldly women and girls wearing their ungodly shorts, halter tops, pants, Spandex and bikinis in public. MODESTY MATTERS! MORALITY MATTERS! 1st Corinthians 6:20, “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.” Dear reader, there is no controversy if you believe the inspired Holy Bible. 1st Timothy 2:9a, “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel...”

Kindly said, for a reckless knuckleheaded pastor like Brad Moffett to allege that 1st Timothy 2:9 doesn't forbid a Christian woman to wear her ungodly pants, is the same thing as saying that Exodus 20:13 (“Thou shalt not kill”) doesn't forbid a mother from having an abortion. Do you see the word “abortion”? I don't, so that must exclude abortion from God's command not to kill, right. This is the incompetent lame theology of Brad and Bobby Moffett and the Family Baptist Church in Pensacola. I say, SHAME ON YOU ALL! 1st Samuel 24:12, “The LORD judge between me and thee, and the LORD avenge me of thee: but mine hand shall not be upon thee.”

We've become so wicked in our American culture today that we've been desensitized to the awfulness of sin (Romans 7:13). If immodesty is wrong, then pants on women are wrong. It's just not right for women to wear pants, and if it's not right it's a sin. I am sick and tired of professed Christians defending wrong doing. Our sex-crazed, ungodly, rotten American culture sees nothing wrong with fornicating, abortion, feminism and others sins. Proverbs 7:10 speaks of the attire of an harlot. A century ago that absolutely included pants on women. God hasn't changed, we have!

How in the world does a Christian woman show forth holiness, femininity, Christlikeness and being a shamefaced lady while wearing a pair of pants? A Christian woman should NOT wear pants for several reasons:

2. ➪ Pants on women were considered the clothing of a HARLOT a century ago.
3. ➪ No Christian woman wore pants in public in 1900.
4. ➪ A woman clothed in pants does NOT glorify God.
5. ➪ Pants on women are unquestionably a 'POWER SYMBOL,' which even the pro-homosexual HUFFINGTON POST admits.
6. ➪ We've got a bunch of wicked pastor's wives and henpecked husbands who refuse to humble themselves to obey out holy God. I know I rattle some cages every time I preach against women wearing pants, but I know biblically I AM RIGHT. God pity the pastors and their wives who are okay with women wearing pants, because it is far from okay with our holy God. We need a revival of old-fashioned holiness in our American culture before this country can ever be made great again. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!

I was shocked with utter disgust when I visited NASA's official website and read how they think the earth and moon were formed. Are NASA's Scientists Lunar Or Looney?

If you read the preceding article, then you know NASA has it all wrong! The earth and moon simply couldn't have formed by two planetoid rocks slamming into each other, and then over billions of years of being subjected to asteroids with ice crystals hitting the earth trillions of times, the oceans somehow formed. The very idea is absurd! That is like trying to explain that a truck full of dynamite exploded, and that is how your local library formed, and that includes the content contained within the pages of the books themselves (all a by-product of the explosion and aftermath). You'd have to be a nut to believe such nonsense. Yet, that is exactly how foolish are the bizarre claims of evolutionists.

When Did Evolution Begin To Be Taught In Public Schools? 

It differs state by state but evolution became part of science curriculums as early as the 1870s and 80s.

The creationist-evolution debate escalated only around the World War I period. Some states actually made it illegal to teach evolution around that time. These laws were challenged through the Scopes Monkey Trial (1920s Tennessee) and a case called Epperson vs. Arkansas (1960s).

It wasn't until after the Epperson case that evolution was reintroduced on a wide scale (at least in the Southern states). The Northern states, being less religious in the aggregate, had less of a problem implementing it.

Why teach evolution? Well you have creationism on the one hand which answers the question how humanity got here by saying: “God did it.” This is not a particularly useful answer in terms of scientific detail.

Evolution on the other hand describes observable processes and gives us a scientific basis to explain how humans came to be.

Evolution was adopted and taught because it is a valid, empirically supported genuine scientific theory. Creationism by contrast is a story which emerged out of that fertile soil known as Bronze Age Israel. This origin story is clearly not a work of science, e.g. God says let there be light on one day and then the following day he/it apparently makes stars. Seems a little “off" if you follow my drift. Then there is the genetic bottleneck of Adam and Eve to overcome and explain how we got all the various races, let one, how they survived the genetic syndromes resultant from continuous inbreeding…

Carl Sagan is a joke. Much of the preceding things he says is hogwash. For example: Sagan says that evolution is observable science, which is a blatant lie. Evolution sets itself in direct opposition to the inspired Word of God. You cannot accept both as being true. Either God made the universe that we live in, or else it just happened and then evolved over billions of years. Science cannot explain what existed before their alleged “Big Bang” occurred 13.7 billion years ago. Could there have been a time before time? That would be impossible according to science. Science cannot explain how large the universe is. If the universe does have an end, what lies beyond its perimeter? That is not even possible according to science.

Furthermore, if humans evolved from monkeys, then why are there still monkeys? Only a wicked Christ-rejecter, one who rejects the truth of God's Word, would adopt such blatant lies as that of evolution. Evolution was fabricated by Satanists, to confuse and deprive children of the truth that God created all things. Thank you for reading.

In 2008, I heard actor Matt Damon make a comment about potential U.S. Presidential candidate Sarah Palin in 2008, implying that he would never vote for someone who believes that dinosaurs roamed the earth 4,000 years ago. Can you blame him? I have a problem with that claim myself. Albert Einstein said, “Religion without science is blind.” People don't have much patience when preachers teach that dinosaurs roamed the earth 4,500 years ago. Some theologians like Dr. John R. Rice taught that Noah left the dinosaurs behind and they died in the flood. Others, like Henry Morris III, teach that Noah took baby dinosaurs onto the Ark, and they survived the flood. Biblically, in my humble opinion, dinosaurs never lived with man at all.

The flood occurred at approximately 2,345 B.C. and the Bible dates creation in Genesis at 4,004 BC. (Noah: What Are All The Begats About?. God put the begats in the Bible so we could tell time; thus, we know that there were 1,656 years from creation to the flood.) Humanity DID NOT exist prior to around 4,004 BC! Albeit, the earth is very old Biblically. A Young Earth view is superstition. There is an abundance of solid evidence, both Biblically and scientifically which testifies of a very OLD EARTH, but a young human race. It is tragic that so many Christians today are so dumb! Preachers don't study and don't take a stand! Consequently, the thinking world avoids talking to such woefully ignorant believers, which hinders the furtherance of the Gospel. 1st Timothy 6:20 warns us about “oppositions to science falsely so called” (such as the lies of Evolution that oppose legitimate science). If we also reject legitimate science in woeful ignorance, then we only discredit ourselves as preachers. It's important that preachers and Christian workers be scientifically correct as well as Biblically correct if they want people to respect their opinions and listen to them. Science has repeatedly evidenced, by using tests on ACTUAL dinosaur bones, that dinosaurs lived tens-of-millions of years ago.

Dinosaurs Survived Mass Extinction by 700,000 Years, Fossil Find Suggests

ScienceDaily (Jan. 27, 2011) — University of Alberta researchers determined that a fossilized dinosaur bone found in New Mexico confounds the long established paradigm that the age of dinosaurs ended between 65.5 and 66 million years ago.

The U of A team, led by Larry Heaman from the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, determined the femur bone of a hadrosaur as being only 64.8 million years old. That means this particular plant eater was alive about 700,000 years after the mass extinction event many paleontologists believe wiped all non-avian dinosaurs off the face of earth, forever.

Heaman and colleagues used a new direct-dating method called U-Pb (uranium-lead) dating. A laser beam unseats minute particles of the fossil, which then undergo isotopic analysis. This new technique not only allows the age of fossil bone to be determined but potentially can distinguish the type of food a dinosaur eats. Living bone contains very low levels of uranium but during fossilization (typically less than 1000 years after death) bone is enriched in elements like uranium. The uranium atoms in bone decay spontaneously to lead over time and once fossilization is complete the uranium-lead clock starts ticking. The isotopic composition of lead determined in the hadrosaur's femur bone is therefore a measure of its absolute age.

Currently, paleontologists date dinosaur fossils using a technique called relative chronology. Where possible, a fossil's age is estimated relative to the known depositional age of a layer of sediment in which it was found or constrained by the known depositional ages of layers above and below the fossil-bearing horizon. However, obtaining accurate depositional ages for sedimentary rocks is very difficult and as a consequence the depositional age of most fossil horizons is poorly constrained. A potential weakness for the relative chronology approach is that over millions of years geologic and environmental forces may cause erosion of a fossil-bearing horizon and therefore a fossil can drift or migrate from its original layer in the strata. The researchers say their direct-dating method precludes the reworking process.

It's widely believed that a mass extinction of the dinosaurs happened between 65.5 and 66 million years ago. It's commonly believed debris from a giant meteorite impact blocked out the Sun, causing extreme climate conditions and killing vegetation worldwide.

When I lived in Chicago, I saw “Sue” the T-rex on display at the Field Museum Of Natural History. The skeletal dinosaur remains were unearthed in the state of Montana. I recall looking up, because Sue is really tall. There's no way that these horrific yet beautiful creatures dwelt with humanity. Any thinking person has a hard time believing that Noah left the dinosaurs behind. It is superstition. Even worse is that Henry Morris III and Ken Ham think Noah took baby dinosaurs aboard the ark. In his heretical writings, Henry Morris III claims absurdly that God stunted the growth of the baby dinosaurs, to prevent them from growing too big for the ark. What tommyrot! The truth is that dinosaurs never coexisted with mankind.

Up until several years ago I had remained neutral in my position of a Young Earth versus an Old Earth view. Since it's not a fundamental Biblical doctrine pertaining to salvation, I didn't take sides in the issue; however, I can no longer remain neutral. Many educated people are steering away from the Gospel on the grounds of ignorant believers who boldly claim falsely that dinosaurs roamed the earth 4,000 years ago. A Young Earth view is an enemy of soul-winning!!! There is no evidence to support a Young Earth. The Bible speaks of an old earth in Psalms 102:25, “Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.”

Basically, proponents of an Old Earth view believe that the earth was created by God—did not evolve—has existed for millions (if not billions) of years—and that the human race is young, having only been in existence for 6,000 years (since 4,000 BC). Dr. Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) and Harry A. Ironside (1876-1951) believed this and so do I. This is often called the 'Gap Principle' (that is, a time gap between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2). I do not refer to it as the “Gap Theory” as many do, simply because it is NOT a “theory” if you study the Bible. And so we may properly refer to this gap in time between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 as the “GAP PRINCIPLE.”

Here you see the potential harm again in holding to a Young Earth view. We saw earlier that skeptics like actor Matt Damon won't waste their time listening to a professed Christian who thinks dinosaurs roamed the earth 4,500 years ago. I don't blame him at all. It is absurd to believe. By holding to a Young Earth view we may indeed be responsible for someone not coming to Jesus Christ to get saved. Soul-Winning opportunities are lost if we lose the respect of our listeners.

The unsaved world laughs at Christians who hold to a Young Earth view, in particular concerning the matter of dinosaurs. It discredits a preacher when he goes against legitimate science, because most people are objective thinkers when it comes to preachers and they know bogus teachings when they hear it. It is simply absurd to claim that dinosaurs roamed the earth 4,500 years ago. The flood of Noah's time is estimated to have happened around 2348 BC[1]). Very few Christians know how to reconcile the reality of dinosaurs and science with the Genesis account of creation in the Bible. Well, now you can KNOW the truth about the matter and explain it to others. The earth is indeed very old, but humanity has only been here since about 4,004 BC. This matter of an Old Earth (ruin-remodeling) verses a Young Earth is a heated debate. Some advocates of each group have even stooped low to accuse the other group of perverting the Gospel and not being saved at all. These are baseless allegations, not rooted in Biblical principle and truth.

The Fallacies Of A Young Earth Series (by Dr. Max D. Younce)

Dr. Kent Hovind has tried to accuse proponents of an Old Earth view of distorting the Gospel message. Mr. Hovind claims that since Adam's sin brought death into the world, then there couldn't have been any death prior to the Garden Of Eden. However, Romans 5:12 plainly states that Adam merely allowed sin to enter the world; but Adam didn't manufacture sin. Sin was already present. Romans 5:12 tells us that Adam's one sin brought sin into the world, and death by sin, for all have sinned.

Romans 5:19, “For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” There is nothing sacrilegious in an Old Earth view. Christ died for the sins of mankind; not Lucifer nor the fallen angels. The reality that there was sin prior to the Garden Of Eden in no way negates Christ's sacrifice for the sins of men. Revelation 20:2 identifies the serpent in the Garden Of Eden as Satan (see also Ezekiel 28:13).

I'd say that 90% of all professed Christian websites adhere to and promote a Young Earth view, which includes the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) by Dr. Henry Morris, Creation Today (CT) by Eric Hovind, and AnswersInGenesis (AIG) by Ken Ham. These den of thieves have exploited the Holy Bible for their own lucrative profit, teaching lies and desperately grasping for straws to justify their heresies to make tons of money. In 2014, God Quest (aka, Creation Today) by Eric Hovind took in $1,234,389 income. Within the ministry, they can spend that money anyway they want as long as it's for the ministry. They can drive ministry cars, eat ministry food, enjoy ministry trips and anything else related to the “ministry.” From what I have seen in my life, non-profit organizations are easily abused for personal gain. I'm not saying that Eric Hovind is doing that, but I have a problem with professed believers exploiting a niche, one issue ministries, that make ridiculous profits. The Young Earth Creation Movement: Deceiving Their Followers For Over 40 Years!

Also, CreationToday.org, which is ran by Eric Hovind (Kent Hovind's son). These two organizations and their websites teach a Young Earth view. Sadly, Eric Hovind has sold-out and been drawn into the Lordship Salvation heretical movement. Their website openly teaches that a person must “endeavor” with God's help to depart from sinful bad habits to be saved. It's a requirement for their way of salvation, but the Bible disagrees with them completely. CreationToday.org doesn't even mention the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (which is the Gospel according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4).

Ken Ham is another false prophet, the founder of the Answers In Genesis website, who espouses a Young Earth view of creation. In a ridiculous article authored by Paul Taylor and Mark Van Bebber of AnswersInGenesis.org (AIG) titled, “Six Days or Billions of Years... Does it Make Any Difference?,” they reveal their woeful ignorance (or intentional dishonestly) of what old-earthers believe and what the Bible actually teaches. I've read the alleged scientific reasons for a Young Earth and they are lame at best. CreationToday.org's biggest argument in support of a Young Earth is the short duration of mankind's history (going back 6,000 years to 4,004 BC). They're comparing apples with oranges. The age of an Old Earth has absolutely NOTHING to do with the age of a Young Human Race. There is no debating that mankind DIDN'T exist prior to 4,004 BC. The advancement of humanity's writings, inventions, knowledge and population all attest to the fact that mankind began around 4000 BC.

Many people agree with this blatant observation, but then get confused when they hear scientists talking about dinosaurs that lived millions of years ago. The answer is an Old Earth; Young Man view of the matter. Dr. Max D. Younce expounds the matter diligently in his timeless classic book, THE TRUTH ABOUT EVOLUTION (.PDF file).

America's churches have been infected with a false message of “surrender to Jesus, make a commitment to Christ, amend your sinful ways, forsake the world, give your heart to Jesus, prayer the Jesus' prayer”... and so forth. None of these are the Gospel. You may do all these and a whole lot more, and yet never be saved at all. Ye must be born again (John 3:5-7). Only by receiving Christ's death, burial and resurrection as payment for MY SINS, can I be saved and go to Heaven. Won't you receive Him now as your Savior as John 1:12 says, believing the Gospel so that all your sins will be forgiven, washed away by Jesus' precious blood (1st Peter 1:18-19)?

Matt Damon is but one of tens-of-millions of people who have thinking brains and won't tolerate willful ignorance concerning when the dinosaurs lived. Most Christian scholars have attempted to force-fit dinosaurs into the Old Testament or onto the ark (as does Dr. Walt Brown of CreationScience.com), because that's the best explanation they can come up with. Well, here's the truth for those who want it concerning our wondrous Old Earth.

This Is Why Women Ought Not Be Preachers

1st Timothy 2:11-15, “Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.”

The inspired Word of God in no uncertain terms forbids women from usurping authority over men or from teaching of speaking in official church matters. Men are to keep silent and be in all subjection to male authority. If that offends you, get right with God hussy!

I was disgusted today when I read the following despicable news:

Leader of the second largest congregation in the Presbyterian Church (USA), Rev. Shannon Johnson Kershner has declared that Christianity is not the only way to heaven.

Kershner, 45, who leads the 5,500-member Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago, Illinois, expressed her belief in a podcast with the Chicago Sun-Times after she was asked the question “Is Christianity the only way to heaven?” SOURCE

First of all, only God is to be reverenced, not any human being. The word “reverend” only appears once in the Old Testament concerning God. Psalms 111:9, “He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.”

Second, the Holy Bible in no uncertain terms forbids women pastors. Women are to keep quiet in official church matters. All across America high society type women are destroying churches. Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) said that truth. Ungodly women don't listen, just as Eve didn't listen, disregarding God's Word and doing as they please instead. Consequently, Hell hath enlarged itself. Where are the men? Only in a society of wimpy and impotent males can women usurp authority, whether in secular culture or the church itself. Where are the men today? Psalms 12:1, “Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.”

Isaiah 3:12, “As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them.  O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.” Unlike the fantasy world on television, historically whenever women have ruled over men it was a disaster! Like it or not, God created women as the weaker vessel. 1st Peter 3:7, “Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.” Women who refuse to acknowledge their God-given role as the weaker vessel, set themselves up for a difficult life.

All across the United States there are millions of divorced women today. Many of them have quit their marriages wearing rose-colored glasses, desiring a seemingly better life of bar-hopping with friends, traveling the world and living large. It is pathetic! Match.com and other popular dating websites are comprised 90% of divorced women with children, hoping to find Mr. Right to fix their broken life. Good luck! Such women will never be content or happy. No woman will ever truly be happy until she fulfills God's purpose for her life, which is to become a HELP MEET to a husband. Genesis 2:18, “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.”

If you read the average dating profile today posted by women, they are all selfishly looking for a man to spoil them. Is it surprising that they are divorced? I think not. Many women want a tall guy, financially stable, preferably with hair, someone who will make them laugh and discover the best in themselves. Literally, American women today have adopted the role of men, looking for a man to complete them, instead of them completing a man as God intended. Consequently, millions of people cannot find companionship. It is especially difficult for men to find a wife, because on average males outnumber females 7-to-1 on dating websites. Women today have unrealistic expectations, searching for Tom Cruise among the Barnet Rubble dating profile crowd.

Third, Pastor Shannon Kershner is a false prophet! She is wrong on the Gospel. Let me share the earlier quote with you again. This is really tragic:

Kershner, 45, who leads the 5,500-member Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago, Illinois, expressed her belief in a podcast with the Chicago Sun-Times after she was asked the question “Is Christianity the only way to heaven?” SOURCE

 But what did Jesus say? John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Kindly said, Shannon Kershner is a fool. She is not a born-again believer. NO WAY! No one is saved who denies salvation only through the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth (Acts 4:10-12). ...

According to the Presbyterian Panel Survey, 2012-2014, 45 percent of PCUSA pastors strongly disagree or disagree that "only followers of Jesus Christ can be saved." SOURCE

Well, there are two things wrong with the preceding statements. First, you don't get saved by “following Jesus Christ,” you get saved by receiving His sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins (1st Corinthians 15:1-6). JESUS PAID IT ALL!!! Judas followed Christ, being one of His very chosen apostles; yet, Judas died in his sins and went to Hell in unbelief. John 6:70 says that Judas had a devil in him. Matthew 27:3 says that Judas even “repented himself” (i.e., he was sorry for what he had done to betray Jesus), but that is not how you get saved. Reformation (turning away from sin) is not repentance (changing one's mind) unto life. If Judas had truly repented (changed his thinking), then he would have BELIEVED on the name of Jesus, but he didn't.

Judas never trusted Jesus Christ as His personal Savior, which is the only way to be saved. John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

I am 100% unalterably against women pastors, lesbians, feminists and career women. Women ought not preach with authority, neither to men or women! Kindly said, Renee Roland on YouTube is shameful, running her mouth like the Grand Canyon, as she denies the fundamental Bible truth of eternal punishment for the wicked. Women are to be servants in the home and church, not leaders. But don't expect this baby-murdering, pro-sodomite, King James Bible hating, immodesty-clothed, nothing is sacred anymore, perverse generation to agree with God's inspired Word. Why do you think everyone hates the King James Bible? Why do you think the Devil's crowd are relentlessly trying to change God's Word into a lie? (Romans 1:25). I always have to leave a disclaimer, lest feminists falsely accuse me of hating women. I believe that women and men are EQUAL. The dearest creation God ever made in my humble opinion is the woman. This matter is not about the worth of a female; but rather, of authority. God is an authoritative God. The King James Bible speaks with God's authority, which is why liberals, kooks and wicked people hate it so much. God has ordained masculine authority in the marriage, home and church. God doesn't tell heathen society how to operate, because God doesn't expect the wicked to take heed to His commandments. But if you are saved and love Jesus, then you will keep His commandments (John 14:15; 15:14).

American society is filled with rebels, both men and women alike. Men rebel against God, women rebel against their husbands, children rebel against their parents, and people rebel against their government. The way to peace is always OBEDIENCE!!!

Hence, divorce is the ultimate act of rebellion, by which a woman is declaring herself free and no longer under her husband's authority. Likewise, when a woman enters into the church pulpit as a pastor, she is declaring mutiny, exercising an act of rebellion against a holy God. ALL women preachers are false prophets! Joyce Meyer is a false prophet!!! It doesn't matter if her teachings help some people, God forbids any woman from usurping authority over men! Miss Meyer is guilty of preaching many false doctrines, confusing people, drawing money and people away from the New Testament church, and rebelling against a holy God.

Beware of False Prophet Joyce Meyer

Here's another example of why women ought not be preachers. Miss Joyce Meyer is a damnable false prophet, who adds works to partial faith in Christ. She is WRONG on God's simple plan of salvation, teaching garbage theology:

“When you're born-again, you admit that you're a sinner. You ask God to forgive your sins. And you invite Him to come and live in your heart. You must be willing to turn away from sin. You don't just receive and kind of tack Him on to your mess like a magic charm. You'd have to be willing to turn away from sin. You can't do it on your own. But if you're willing to do it, God will help you and He will teach you how to live the way that He wants you to live.” [emphasis added] —Joyce Meyer, “How Do I Get To Heaven” (13:36 time in video)

I am sickened by Miss Meyer's corrupt plan of salvation. She just wants your money friend. Beware of this ungodly woman! Miss Meyer further heretically teaches:

“If you've never received Christ as your Savior. You've never invited Him to come into your life. You've never come to that point of saying, 'I am a miserable sinner, and God I do need you, I cannot help myself.' Then you need to surrender tonight—and that's really what it's all about—it's about surrender! It's about letting God get into the driver's seat of your life. It's about you discontinuing trying to run the show, and telling God what all your plans are. My God in Heaven, none of that is THE GOSPEL!!! Nowhere does the Bible teach us to be willing to turn away from our sins, follow Christ, surrender our will, give God control, give Him the reigns, or discontinuing running our own life to get to Heaven. Joyce Meyer is a fool in God's sight. She preaches another gospel accursed by God (Galatians 1:6-9). 1st Corinthians 15:1-5 plainly defines “the gospel” for us:

1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born-again. You cannot be born-again by surrendering your life to Jesus Christ. That was the fatal mistake of the false prophets in the book of Matthew:

Matthew 7:21-23, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

They called Jesus their “Lord.” They surrendered all to Him. They followed Him. They preached in Jesus' name. They did many wonderful works in Jesus' name. They cast our devils in Jesus' name. But they weren't saved. Jesus denied even knowing them as His sheep. The dear Savior plainly tells us what their deadly error was, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21).

What exactly is “the will” of the heavenly Father? I'm glad that you asked. John 6:40, “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” There it is, plain and simple. That so profoundly easy, free and simple—just BELIEVE ON JESUS!!! Acts 16:30b-31, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

So where in the inspired Holy Bible did Joyce Meyer find surrender your life to Christ, be willing to turn away from your sinning, discontinue trying to run the show, invite Christ into your heart and life, give up the reigns of control to God, follow Christ, live for God, et cetera? The answer is SHE DIDN'T, she made it all up, perverting the free grace of God. If you follow what Joyce Meyer is errantly preaching, you won't be saved and you WILL spend eternity burning in the fires of Hell (Revelation 20:11-15).

You've got to get born-again, but as I just showed you from John 6:40 and Acts 16:30-31, that can only happen if you BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, apart from all else. No, you don't have to turn away from sinning to go to Heaven, nor even be willing to try to stop sinning. In fact, if you add that requirement just to be safe, you will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire. You either put ALL your childlike trust (confidence, reliance) in Christ alone, because of what HE DID to pay your debt of sin on the cross, or else you don't get God's free grace.

God doesn't want to control your life so you can go to Heaven!!! God wants you to REST completely in His only begotten Son. Hebrews 4:10-11, “For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” Giving God control over your life is a matter of sanctification as a believer, which comes later and has NOTHING to do with justification by faith alone. We must always keep sanctification totally separate from justification. I love what Pilgrim's Progress author John Bunyan (1628-1688) said:

“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” [emphasis added] —Evangelist John Bunyan

Joyce Meyer is a confused woman, who is woefully unlearned in the Scriptures and theologically ignorant (2nd Peter 3:16-17). RUN dear reader from Miss Meyer and her deadly books!!! Romans 16:17-18, “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”

All of today's popular household names—FALSE PROPHETS EVERY ONE (Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, Robert Jeffress, John Hagee, Pat Robertson, Ray Comfort, Adrian Rodgers, Jimmy Swaggart, Beth Moore, Peter Popoff, TBN, Franklin Graham, John MacArthur, et cetera)—preach the same damnable garbage as Joyce Meyer (i.e., turn away from your sin, make Jesus “Lord,” surrender your life to Him, give up control, invite Jesus into your life, become a Christ follower, et cetera). it's all the same mumbo-jumbo trash that leads to Hell, because none of it produces the new birth by the Holy Spirit of God in response to faith alone in the Gospel (GOOD NEWS) of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Somewhere along the way the Devil deceived nearly everybody, corrupting the free gift of God into an exchange of sorts (demanding the payment of forsaking your sinful ways and surrendering control of your life over to God). Instead of being clothed with God's imputed righteousness by faith alone in Jesus, wearing pure white garments washed in the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 7:14); we are instead taught nowadays to be willing to change our own filthy garments before attending the Master's wedding, which the Bible calls “filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6). If to “repent” means to forsake our sinful ways TO BE SAVED, but Jesus already paid for our sins by dying on the cross, then what are we repenting from?

Why A Young Earth Creation View Is Harmful

1st Timothy 6:20-21, "O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen." Titus 1:14, "Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth."

I heard actor Matt Damon make a comment about potential U.S. Presidential candidate Sarah Palin in 2008, implying that he would never vote for someone who believes that dinosaurs roamed the earth 4,000 years ago. Can you blame him? I have a problem with that claim myself. Albert Einstein said, “Religion without science is blind.” People don't have much patience when preachers teach that dinosaurs roamed the earth 4,500 years ago. Some theologians like Dr. John R. Rice taught that Noah left the dinosaurs behind and they died in the flood. Others, like Henry Morris III, teach that Noah took baby dinosaurs onto the Ark, and they survived the flood. Biblically, in my humble opinion, dinosaurs never lived with man at all.

The flood occurred at approximately 2,345 B.C. and the Bible dates creation in Genesis at 4,004 BC. (Noah: What Are All The Begets About?. God put the begets in the Bible so we could tell time; thus, we know that there were 1,656 years from creation to the flood.) Humanity DID NOT exist prior to around 4,004 BC! Albeit, the earth is very old Biblically. A Young Earth view is superstition. There is an abundance of solid evidence, both Biblically and scientifically which testifies of a very OLD EARTH, but a young human race. It is tragic that so many Christians today are so dumb! Preachers don't study and don't take a stand! Consequently, the thinking world avoids talking to such woefully ignorant believers, which hinders the furtherance of the Gospel. 1st Timothy 6:20 warns us about “oppositions to science falsely so called” (such as the lies of Evolution that oppose legitimate science). Science has repeatedly evidenced, by using tests on ACTUAL dinosaur bones, that dinosaurs lived tens-of-millions of years ago...

Dinosaurs Survived Mass Extinction by 700,000 Years, Fossil Find Suggests

ScienceDaily (Jan. 27, 2011) — University of Alberta researchers determined that a fossilized dinosaur bone found in New Mexico confounds the long established paradigm that the age of dinosaurs ended between 65.5 and 66 million years ago.

The U of A team, led by Larry Heaman from the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, determined the femur bone of a hadrosaur as being only 64.8 million years old. That means this particular plant eater was alive about 700,000 years after the mass extinction event many paleontologists believe wiped all non-avian dinosaurs off the face of earth, forever.

Heaman and colleagues used a new direct-dating method called U-Pb (uranium-lead) dating. A laser beam unseats minute particles of the fossil, which then undergo isotopic analysis. This new technique not only allows the age of fossil bone to be determined but potentially can distinguish the type of food a dinosaur eats. Living bone contains very low levels of uranium but during fossilization (typically less than 1000 years after death) bone is enriched in elements like uranium. The uranium atoms in bone decay spontaneously to lead over time and once fossilization is complete the uranium-lead clock starts ticking. The isotopic composition of lead determined in the hadrosaur's femur bone is therefore a measure of its absolute age.

Currently, paleontologists date dinosaur fossils using a technique called relative chronology. Where possible, a fossil's age is estimated relative to the known depositional age of a layer of sediment in which it was found or constrained by the known depositional ages of layers above and below the fossil-bearing horizon. However, obtaining accurate depositional ages for sedimentary rocks is very difficult and as a consequence the depositional age of most fossil horizons is poorly constrained. A potential weakness for the relative chronology approach is that over millions of years geologic and environmental forces may cause erosion of a fossil-bearing horizon and therefore a fossil can drift or migrate from its original layer in the strata. The researchers say their direct-dating method precludes the reworking process.

It's widely believed that a mass extinction of the dinosaurs happened between 65.5 and 66 million years ago. It's commonly believed debris from a giant meteorite impact blocked out the Sun, causing extreme climate conditions and killing vegetation worldwide.

When I lived in Chicago I saw “Sue” the T-rex on display at the Field Museum Of Natural History. The skeletal dinosaur remains were unearthed in the state of Montana. I recall looking up, because Sue is really tall. There's no way that these horrific, yet beautiful, creatures dwelt with humanity. Any thinking person has a hard time believing that Noah left the dinosaurs behind. It is superstition. The truth is that dinosaurs never coexisted with mankind.

Up until recently I had remained neutral in my position of a Young Earth verses an Old Earth view. Since it's not a fundamental Biblical doctrine pertaining to salvation, I didn't take sides in the issue; however, I can no longer remain neutral. Many educated people are steering away from the gospel on the grounds of ignorant believers who boldly claim falsely that dinosaurs roamed the earth 4,500 years ago. A Young Earth view is an enemy of soul-winning!!!

Basically, proponents of an Old Earth view believe that the earth was created by God—did not evolve—has existed for millions (if not billions) of years—and that the human race is young, having only been in existence for 6,000 years (since 4,000 BC). Dr. Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) and Harry A. Ironside (1876-1951) believed this and so do I. This is often called the 'Gap Principle' (that is, a time gap between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2). I do not refer to it as the “Gap Theory” as many do, simply because it is NOT a “theory” if you study the Bible. And so we may properly refer to this gap in time between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 as the “GAP PRINCIPLE.”

Here you see the potential harm again in holding to a Young Earth view. We saw earlier that skeptics like actor Matt Damon won't waste their time listening to a professed Christian who thinks dinosaurs roamed the earth 4,500 years ago. I don't blame him at all. It is absurd to believe. By holding to a Young Earth view we may indeed be responsible for someone not coming to Jesus Christ to get saved. Soul-Winning opportunities are lost if we lose the respect of our listeners.

The unsaved world laughs at Christians who hold to a Young Earth view, in particular concerning the matter of dinosaurs. It discredits a preacher when he goes against legitimate science, because most people are objective thinkers when it comes to preachers and they know bogus teachings when they hear it. It is simply absurd to claim that dinosaurs roamed the earth 4,500 years ago. The flood of Noah's time is estimated to have happened around 2348 BC[1]). Very few Christians know how to reconcile the reality of dinosaurs and science with the Genesis account of creation in the Bible. Well, now you can KNOW the truth about the matter and explain it to others. The earth is indeed very old, but humanity has only been here since about 4,004 BC. This matter of an Old Earth (ruin-remodeling) verses a Young Earth is a heated debate. Some advocates of each group have even stooped low to accuse the other group of perverting the Gospel and not being saved at all. These are baseless allegations, not rooted in Biblical principle and truth.

The Fallacies Of A Young Earth Series (by Dr. Max D. Younce)

Dr. Kent Hovind has tried to accuse proponents of an Old Earth view of distorting the Gospel message. Mr. Hovind claims that since Adam's sin brought death into the world, then there couldn't have been any death prior to the Garden Of Eden. However, Romans 5:12 plainly states that Adam merely allowed sin to enter the world; but Adam didn't manufacture sin. Sin was already present. Romans 5:12 tells us that Adam's one sin brought sin into the world, and death by sin, for all have sinned.

Romans 5:19, “For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” There is nothing sacrilegious in an Old Earth view. Christ died for the sins of mankind; not Lucifer nor the fallen angels. The reality that there was sin prior to the Garden Of Eden in no way negates Christ's sacrifice for the sins of men. Revelation 20:2 identifies the serpent in the Garden Of Eden as Satan (see also Ezekiel 28:13).

I'd say that 90% of all professed Christian websites adhere to and promote a Young Earth view, which includes the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) by Dr. Henry Morris, Creation Today (CT) by Eric Hovind, and Answers-In-Genesis (AIG) by Ken Ham. These den of thieves have exploited the Holy Bible for their own lucrative profit, teaching lies and desperately grasping for straws to justify their heresies to make tons of money. In 2014, God Quest (aka, Creation Today) by Eric Hovind took in $1,234,389 income.

Within the ministry, they can spend that money anyway they want as long as it's for the ministry. They can drive ministry cars, eat ministry food, enjoy ministry trips and anything else related to the “ministry.” From what I have seen in my life, non-profit organizations are easily abused for personal gain. I'm not saying that Eric Hovind is doing that, but I have a problem with professed believers exploiting a niche, one issue ministries, that make ridiculous profits. The Young Earth Creation Movement: Deceiving Their Followers For Over 40 Years!

Also, CreationToday.org, which is ran by Eric Hovind (Kent Hovind's son). These two organizations and their websites teach a Young Earth view. Sadly, Eric Hovind has sold-out and been drawn into the Lordship Salvation heretical movement. Their website openly teaches that a person must “endeavor” with God's help to depart from sinful bad habits to be saved. It's a requirement for their way of salvation, but the Bible disagrees with them completely. CreationToday.org doesn't even mention the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (which is the Gospel according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4).

Ken Ham is another false prophet, the founder of the Answers In Genesis website, who espouses a Young Earth view of creation. In a ridiculous article authored by Paul Taylor and Mark Van Bebber of AnswersInGenesis.org (AIG) titled, “Six Days or Billions of Years... Does it Make Any Difference?,” they reveal their woeful ignorance (or intentional dishonestly) of what old-earthers believe and what the Bible actually teaches. I've read the alleged scientific reasons for a Young Earth and they are lame at best. CreationToday.org's biggest argument in support of a Young Earth is the short duration of mankind's history (going back 6,000 years to 4,004 BC). They're comparing apples with oranges. The age of an Old Earth has absolutely NOTHING to do with the age of a Young Human Race. There is no debating that mankind DIDN'T exist prior to 4,004 BC. The advancement of humanity's writings, inventions, knowledge and population all attest to the fact that mankind began around 4000 BC.

Many people agree with this blatant observation, but then get confused when they hear scientists talking about dinosaurs that lived millions of years ago. The answer is an Old Earth; Young Man view of the matter. Dr. Max D. Younce expounds the matter diligently in his timeless classic book, THE TRUTH ABOUT EVOLUTION (.PDF file).

America's churches have been infected with a false message of “surrender to Jesus, make a commitment to Christ, amend your sinful ways, forsake the world, give your heart to Jesus, prayer the Jesus' prayer”... and so forth. None of these are the Gospel. You may do all these and a whole lot more, and yet never be saved at all. Ye must be born again (John 3:5-7). Only by receiving Christ's death, burial and resurrection as payment for MY SINS, can I be saved and go to Heaven. Won't you receive Him now as your Savior as John 1:12 says, believing the Gospel so that all your sins will be forgiven, washed away by Jesus' precious blood (1st Peter 1:18-19)?
