Jeremiah 5:30-31, “A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?”
The word “wonderful” in Jeremiah 5:30 means shocking, or astonishment. The prophet is saying that something shocking was happening in Israel. The pastors of their generation were full of crap, preaching lies to deceive the people. The Bible says in the end when they are judged by God, their pastors won't be there to bail them out of hot water! Jeremiah 5:31b, “what will ye do in the end thereof?”
I had reluctantly attended the neo-evangelical Family Baptist Church in Pensacola for 45 months between 2021 to 2025. I only attended there because the place was closer to where I live, and I couldn't find anything better. Moving forward I will never make that foolish decision again. I'd rather stay home on Sundays than attend a corrupt neo-evangelical cult like Family Baptist Church, or Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College, that is wrong on God's simple plan of salvation and defends worldliness in the church. In hindsight I feel like Job, who wisely exclaimed in Job 42:6, “Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”
In hindsight, I now sadly realize that during the entire 45 months that I quietly attended their damned so-called “church,” they were holding a sinful grudge against me because I am a fundamentalist Bible-believing Christian from Hyles-Anderson College (1985-1993). I had no idea that the pastor, Brad Moffett, and his verbally abusive father, Bobby Moffett, despise Dr. Jack Hyles and have very low opinions of him. SHAME on Brad and his abusive father!!!
On April 30th, 2025, I and my wife Alice met with Pastor Brad in his office. He had invited us for marriage counseling prior to our remarriage (we were previously married for 19 years, and then divorced for 19 years, and we got remarried in the Lord). Praise God! Little did I know that instead of talking to us about marriage, Pastor Brad would do a Bait & Switch on us, deciding to censure my website ministry instead, which was as low class as a pastor can get. I am fully convinced that his meddling wife (in my humble opinion) had something to do with that. Like Jezebel stirred up Ahab (1st Kings 21:25), she henpecks her husband, which I have seen her do in church, giving him orders. 1st Kings 21:25, “But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.”
During the meeting, Pastor Brad said some hurtful things about our hero of the faith, Pastor Jack Hyles, slandering his good name by falsely accusing Brother Hyles of ruining hundreds of families with perverse teachings on sex and marriage that were unbiblical. Me and Alice were horrified and deeply hurt. I had looked forward to introducing my wife to my pastor. Instead, the very first time that Alice met my pastor, he slandered her hero. Alice was born again in 1975 in Chicago while riding one of the ministry buses of the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana. It didn't go over well with her to hear Pastor Jack Hyles being wickedly slandered by a foolish young pastor (we were married in 1987, just 19 days before Pastor Brad was physically born). Pastor Brad has no respect!
During the unpleasant meeting Pastor Brad Moffett criticized my fundamentalist Bible-preaching that homosexuality should be a punishable crime, my preaching against PCC, my preaching against infidel Ken Ham, my calling Bob Jones University's Calvinist Lordship Salvation preaching professors “God damned reprobates” (Galatians 1:6-9), and my preaching against women wearing pants. He saved the issue of women wearing pants for last, which turned out to be his biggest problem with my website ministry and me.
Pastor Brad sinfully challenged my fundamentalist Bible preaching, demanding a Bible verse that says a woman cannot wear pants. I kindly told him that 1st Timothy 2:9-10 is more than enough Scriptural support for women not to wear pants, “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.” God shouldn't have to add detailed explanations to His Word, spelling out every thou shalt not for wicked people who don't want to live right.
When I and my wife met with Pastor Brad in April, he sickeningly tried to defend his wife's pants, by saying that the burden is upon men not to lust, not his wife to dress right. He said if men lust they are the ones doing the sinning, not his wife. Unbelievable! Folks, this is a pastor of a local Baptist church in Pensacola! We are disgusted by all of this. The pastors of the church take God's name in vain by preaching the unbiblical heresy that you cannot get to Heaven unless you first, “Repent of your sins.” No such nonsense is taught in the inspired King James Bible. Ungodly men added those words to the Word of God (Proverbs 30:5-6).
Pastor Brad further foolishly stated that he didn't lust upon women who wear sensual clothing in public because he walks in the Spirit. But dear reader, even if a man is walking in the Holy Spirit at any given time (so as to not fulfill the lust of the flesh), that simply DOESN'T excuse nor justify his wife (or any woman) wearing pants in public. It is sinful for women to reveal their thigh and buttocks in public, which pants immodestly do.
Then there's the whole issue of women being forbidden BY GOD to wear men's clothing (Deuteronomy 22:5). Pastor Brad wanted to argue about that passage of Scripture too, dismissing it as outdated Old Testament law that he says is not applicable today. I humbly contend that the Lord's commandment for women not to wear men's clothing is a moral law applicable is every generation. Deuteronomy 22:5, “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.” That is a permanent moral law, not merely a temporary ceremonial law for Jews only.
Pastor Brad particularly took issue with my article titled, “Why A Christian Lady Ought Not Wear Pants,” falsely accusing me of adding to the Scriptures something it doesn't say. In the preceding article I quote Pastor Jack Hyles. His enemies wrongly accused him of having a dirty mind, since he preaches against women wearing pants. Dr. Hyles replied, “You say, 'Brother Hyles, you must have a dirty mind.' No, I have a man's mind!” That statement from Pastor Hyles offended Brad Moffett. He also horribly accused Dr. Hyles of having a “dirty mind.” You don't have to have a dirty mind as a man to be tempted to lust.
I am so disappointed with Pastor Brad, and his horrible arrogant father (whose is also a bad pastor and his wife also sinfully wears pants). These people are shameful neo-evangelicals, which is their whole problem. They despise me, the good guy in this matter (2nd Timothy 3:3), because I am a fundamentalist preacher. By “fundamentalist” I simply mean that I follow the inspired King James Bible, I preach a free grace Gospel without works, I don't follow this ungodly world, and I am telling THE TRUTH. I am just a struggling sinner like everybody else, but I say with Joshua who said in Joshua 24:15, “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
It is ungodly neo-evangelicals today who use the Devil's umpteen different Bible versions, corrupting the inspired Word of God. It is ungodly neo-evangelicals today who preach the Satanic lie that you have to “repent of your sins” to get saved; a teaching nowhere taught in the inspired Word of God. It is ungodly neo-evangelicals today who defend women wearing pants in public, blaspheming the inspired Word of God in their immodest shame.
I didn't have to say a single word, my website ministry shouted volumes at the guilty pastor's wife (the shoe fit and she wore it), who gets irked every time she sees me because I am effectively a sin-detector in her sight. And again, I couldn't care less if the pastor's wife wears pants, it's none of my business. But THEY MADE AN ISSUE of my Bible preaching, I didn't make an issue at their church. As Rambo would say, “They drew first blood, not me.”
What saddens me is that some people in the church will no doubt misunderstand and think I am being ridiculous to make an issue of the pastor's wife wearing pants, but that is absolutely NOT what happened. Pastor Brad made an issue of it!!! I was minding my own business and had never spoken or wrote a single word about any woman in their church wearing pants. But because his wife feels convicted and guilty for wearing her immodest pants in public, SHE has a problem with my fundamentalist Bible preaching. So, to be clear for anyone reading this blog from Family Baptist Church in Pensacola, it was your pastor and his wife who made an issue of this, not me.
The crux of the matter, when we lay the axe to the root of the tree, is that these ungodly people are neo-evangelicals at Family Baptist Church in Pensacola; but I am a Christ-honoring fundamentalist preacher, and born again free grace believer, and they despise me for it. There's not a topic that I preach about that riles up and upsets people more than that women shouldn't wear pants, slacks or miniskirts in public. And by the way, contrary to what Pastor Steven Anderson strangely teaches, kindly said, I am against woman breast-feeding in public where their nipples are showing for men to see. We need to have a revival of propriety and morality in this country. Get mad at me if you want, I am right.
Listen, it is a sin for women to wear pants in public. There wouldn't have been any debate a century ago in America, but in this wicked untoward generation society's morals have sunken to new lows. Look at how crazy things are getting! It was Russian dictator Vladimir Lenin who said: The best revolutionary is a youth devoid of morals. This explains why America's youth nationwide are being encouraged to riot, pillage and steal other people's stuff. Such horrible crimes in California are only legal punishable as a misdemeanor. Until the punishment fits the crime, our nation's youth won't behave. Ecclesiastes 8:11, “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.” I sincerely believe that this epidemic of nationwide chaos and crime today is all intentionally being encouraged and nourished by the Luciferian elite behind the New World Order. If that sounds “crazy” to you, flip over any one dollar bill and look at all the Masonic occult symbols, shewing you who controls the United States from behind the scenes. Remember, the Holy Bible identifies Satan is the god of this world (2nd Corinthians 4:4).
Getting back to women wearing pants, it's not that hard to figure out. When a woman wears pants, she is revealing her lack of a feminine heart. Her soul is worldly. The Devil's crowd all wears pants. The “Jesus Freaks” youth wear pants. Only neo-evangelical women wear pants, and they're helping to ruin this country! There is a whole mindset that goes along with women wearing pants, and it is a sinful mindset of feminism (female empowerment), and not the meek and quiet Spirit of Christ. You can argue and disagree with me if you want, but you'd be wrong!
Christian ladies and girls should always wear modest attire when in public. You are a child of the King of kings and Lord of lords. So, shew it ladies! Conceal, don't reveal. There simply is no way for a Christian woman wearing pants in public to walk in holiness. No way!!!
God knows that I love everybody, I truly do. I didn't start this fight with Family Baptist Church, they did! The issue is far bigger than a nobody like me. The Bible says that we wrestle (fight) not against flesh and blood (people); but rather, we fight against the dark spiritual forces of Satan, against wickedness in high places, against the rulers of the darkness of this world (Ephesians 6:10-12).
During our unpleasant meeting in his church office in April, Pastor Brad felt compelled to tell me and my wife that he is NOT A FUNDAMENTALIST. Although he didn't have to tell me, I already clearly knew that he was not a fundamentalist Christian, the very fact that he felt compelled to say something so rebellious is loathsome and shameful. God is a fundamentalist folks! A Christian fundamentalist separates himself from those who are not separated. That includes moral, marital, civil, family and ecclesiastical separation from the wicked. I won't closely associate with worldly people. I don't want to wallow with pigs in the filth. I am the biggest sinner I know, so I do not condemn other sinners. God commands me as his redeemed child to walk in holiness, as God is holy (1st Peter 1:15-16).
I am sick and tired of the ungodly sneers, grudges, jokes, dirty looks, smugness of the ungodly neo-evangelical crowd. I'm talking about the wretched Bob Jones University crowd. I'm talking about the wretched Pensacola Christian College cult. I'm talking about the wretched hypocrites at Family Baptist Church who think they are better than broken sinners like me and my wife, and Tom and Sharon, and Lucretia, and Bobby across the street from the church, and others they have horribly mistreated. They should really rename their Family Baptist Church to the Moffett Baptist Church, because they run the place like they own it personally, which is wrong.
In hindsight, I am glad that they kicked us out of their damned cult on June 22, 2025. They got upset with us because of my Bible preaching on social media. The pastor and his wife were so irked at the church's Memorial Day picnic in 2025 when we arrived. They didn't bother to greet us. They didn't think we would come, but we did, in the sincerest of good will toward them. My wife was wearing a full length dress at the picnic, while the pastor's wife stood there wearing her whorish pants. She felt so convicted that she walked over 50 feet to mess with us while we were eating at a picnic table. The pastor's wife fully knows that I am a fundamentalist preacher, and that my wife wears dresses in public.
The Lord knows that I am not writing this blog to be unkind or vindictive; but rather, to draw important attention to the matter of modesty in society today. Right doctrine matters! Modesty matters! I listened to a knucklehead young pastor (Brad Moffett) wickedly slander Pastor Jack Hyles because of his stand against women wearing pants. I kindly rebuked the pastor. He should be ashamed of himself for criticizing one of the greatest soulwinning preachers who ever lived, Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001).
Tragically, neo-evangelicals are destroying churches all across America today. They're “repent of your sins” to be saved counterfeit plan of salvation is deadly. Their use and support of the modern Bible revisions is deadly. Pastor Brad Moffett told me that he supports the Modern English Version (MEV) which is horribly corrupted by Satan. Please, RUN from neo-evangelical Bible colleges and churches as fast as you can, because your spiritual life depends upon it. It really does friend. Thank you for reading my ministry blog.
