Beware Of The Toxic New IFB With Their Rapture Date Setting

Mark 13:32-33, “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.”

The New IFB (Independent Fundamental Baptist) movement and their ridiculous PreWrath rapture garbage is easily proven unscriptural. I mean, with an incompetent pastor like Steven Anderson saying foolish like this, it's not difficult to expose his biblical ignorance:
“When does the Rapture take place? 1,335 days into Daniel's 70th week.” —Pastor Steven Anderson, 'Revelation - Part 10' (Time: 31:00 minutes into video)
Anderson foolishly SET A DATE for the Rapture! Anyone who is even the least bit familiar with the inspired Holy Bible understands that NO ONE knows the time of Christ's return, not even the angels; but only the Father. Only a Pretribulation Rapture fits the puzzle of prophecy.

Kindly said, the New IFB movement with their unlearned pastors are toxic!

You Don't Have To Be Water Baptized To Get To Heaven

Mark 16:16, “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

1st Corinthians 1:17, “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.”

Pastor Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) rightly said that a good rule to follow when interpreting the Bible is to never use an obscure passage to contradict a clear one. That is absolutely right! One of our text passages from Mark 16:16, taken by itself, might give the wrong impression that water baptism is required to get to Heaven, but it certainly is not. We must never base a doctrine on a single passage of Scripture! The Bible teaches that the man who does not believe is damned, which is consistent with the rest of Scripture. John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Baptism does not save!

The inspired King James Bible is teaching in Mark 16:16 that water baptism cannot save someone. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do. What saith the Scripture? Galatians 3:26-27, “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. The word baptized here does not refer to water baptism; but rather, to being submersed by faith into Christ. Jesus plainly said in John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”

According to John 20:31, the apostle penned the Gospel of John to shew us the way of salvation. Yet, not once does John teach the reader to be baptized to be saved. John 20:31, “  ” Clearly, faith in Jesus Christ is all that is required to be born again. Any admitted sinner who receives Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full-payment for sins, believing that Jesus was buried, but then physically resurrected from the dead three days later is saved. This is the gospel (Good News) according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-6.

Water baptism is simply NOT a part of the Gospel of free grace. In literally hundreds of Bible passages we are taught to have faith in Christ to be saved, without any mention of baptism. Acts 10:43, “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.” So, all of the Old Testament prophets gave witness that salvation came only through faith in Christ.

According to Galatians 1:6-7 there has always been only one plan of salvation, which includes both the Old and New Testaments. Anyone who comes to God as a needy sinner, and by faith places their reliance (trust) in Jesus, believing that He did it all for them through Calvary's cross, is instantly and forever saved. It is that easy, free and simple to be saved. Everything that is hard about getting saved is God's part. Our part is simply to BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (Acts 16:30-31).

Here are several biblical reasons why we know you DON'T have to be water baptized to get to Heaven...
  1. No one in the Old Testament was water baptized to be saved.
  2. The repentant thief on the cross was not baptized to go to Heaven (Paradise).
  3. Nowhere does the Bible explicitly command anyone to be water baptized to be saved.
  4. The Apostle John penned the Gospel of John for the purpose of convincing us that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, the Christ; so that by BELIEVING we will be saved (John 20:31). John never teaches that baptism is required to get to Heaven.
  5. In the Epistle of 1st John, the apostle states in 1st John 5:13 that the purpose of writing his epistle is help believers “know” that we are saved, yet John never mentions “baptism” once. If water baptism were required to be saved, then you can be assured that John would have emphasized the importance of making sure you've done it.
  6. The Apostle Paul plainly said that Christ did NOT send him to baptize people, but instead to preach the Gospel. If water baptism were necessary for the new birth, Paul wouldn't have diminished baptism on his list of priorities as a missionary.
  7. Many of the Samaritans believed on Christ and were saved in John chapter 4, but there is no mention of any of them being baptized. We know that Jesus' disciples did baptize some converts (John 4:1-2), but there is no evidence to confirm that all converts were baptized. Clearly, the thief on the cross didn't get baptized and it is very wrong to conclude that he was given an exception by God, which would constitute a different plan of salvation. Jesus taught in no uncertain terms in John 3:1-7 that unless a man is born again he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. So, if water baptism is required for the new birth, then the repentant thief on the cross could not have been saved.
The inspired Holy Bible is full of examples of sinners who were saved without being baptized...
  1. In Luke 7:37-50 we read about a woman who was saved without being baptized. Jesus said unto her in Verse 48, “Thy sins are forgiven.” And the Lord further adds in Luke 7:50b, “Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.” There is no mention of her being baptized. It would be wrong to attribute meaning to the Bible which it doesn't say.
  2. The publican in Luke 18:13-14 was saved by faith without being baptized. He simply cried out, God be merciful to me a sinner.” The Scripture tells us that the publican sinner was justified by faith. There is no mention of him being baptized. Luke 18:14a, “I tell you, this man went down to his house justified....”
  3. In Luke 18:35-43 we read about a blind man who was saved by faith without being baptized. Luke 18:42, “And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.” Faith is the only righteous thing that anyone can do.
  4. In Luke 23:42 one of the dying thieves on the cross turned to Jesus and cried out, “Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” Amidst His own pain and agony, Jesus replied, “Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.” The man's hands and feet were literally nailed to a wooden cross, so that he could do nothing to be saved except LOOK TO JESUS. Isaiah 45:22, “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.”
The inspired Holy Bible plainly defines “the gospel for us...
1st Corinthians 15:1-6, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.”
There is no mention of being baptized in Paul's gospel, which Galatians 1:12 says Paul received directly from Jesus Christ Himself. Then, how wicked and wrong it is for anyone to insist that someone must be water baptized to be saved. No such teaching is taught in the inspired Word of God. We are not saved by works. Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

Those fools who errantly teach that baptism is required to get to Heaven wrest, misuse and pervert the Scripture, to their own destruction (2nd Peter 3:16-17). As Dr. Curtis Hutson wisely says, when studying the Bible we must never use an obscure passage of Scripture (like Mark 16:16) to contradict many clear passages. To the man with a hammer in his hand, everything begins to look like a nail sticking up. And to the man who views everything through a lens of baptism, he wrests the Word of God to agree with his false teaching.

The wicked Roman Catholic church does the same thing with the Bible, wickedly removing the second of God's Ten Commandments in a sinful attempt to hide their idolatry worshipping graven images and bowing to idols. Romans 1:25 warned that wicked people would change the truth of God's Word into a lie, and so it is. Beware of anyone who foolishly says that you cannot go to Heaven without being water baptized.

In every case of those who insist that you must be baptized with water to get to Heaven, they base their false doctrine on a tiny handful of cherry-picked Bible verses, obscure passages, while ignoring the vast majority of other Scripture passages that totally contradict them. The Bible makes it very plain that those who are trusting Christ are saved, and those who don't aren't. John 3:18, “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” It is so obvious biblically that water baptism has no part in the new birth.

Dear reader, please beware of the deadly Church of Christ, Lutherans, Mormons, Roman Catholics, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh-Day Adventists and other religious denominations that foolishly require water baptism for salvation. What they are teaching was inspired by demons. There is no controversy if you believe the inspired Holy Bible. The required new birth to enter into God's Kingdom can be freely obtained through faith alone in Jesus Christ, not by water baptism. John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”

Can You Blaspheme The Holy Spirit Without Speaking?

Mark 3:28-30, “Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.”

Someone today asked me if an unsaved person can blaspheme the Holy Spirit without speaking a word. I humbly believe, yes, it is possible, because our human vocal box (larynx) and mouth are merely biological tools to convert the thoughts of our heart into audible sounds.

I am firmly convinced that “blaspheming” the Holy Spirit refers to knowingly rejecting Jesus Christ. In the case of the Apostle Peter, he audibly denied knowing Christ due to fear of prosecution, torture and even death. But Peter in his heart of hearts would never deny Christ, he loved the Lord. So, to me blaspheming the Holy Spirit means to reject Jesus in the solitude of one's soul, a bonafide rejection of the Savior.

Rebellious wives blaspheme the Word of God. When professed Christians commit open sin, we give the Devil's crowd opportunity to SPEAK EVIL (blaspheme) the Word of God. That is why a pastor with a tarnished testimony is discouraged in the Bible from being a pastor, lest he fall into the condemnation of the Devil.

A pastor's name (reputation) must be above reproach, even though no believer can live above sinning. We are all sinners. So, to answer the question, I think YES, it is possible to blaspheme the Holy Spirit without opening one's mouth. Years ago in 1987 there was a famous liberal arts lunatic who displayed a crucifix of Jesus submerged in a jar of piss. Without speaking a single word, we could definitely say that the artist Andres Serrano blasphemed the Holy Spirit. The world hates Jesus (John 7:7).

By the way, that is why I believe those who receive the Mark of the Beast in the future will be damned to Hell. Without speaking a word, by just receiving the MARK, it will be equivalent to rejecting Christ.

I also believe that is why Revelation 22:19 warns that if any man take away from the Word of God, the Lord will also remove his name from the Lamb's Book of Life. Intentionally corrupting the Word of God is the same as rejecting Jesus, who is THE WORD OF GOD (Revelation 19:13). To tamper with the Holy Bible is to blaspheme Jesus, and I believe also the Holy Spirit.

Since we know that salvation is a free gift that cannot be lost, returned or forfeited, we can logically conclude that everyone's name then must be recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life from eternity past. Even before birth, everyone's name must be recorded in the Book of Life. When a man rejects Christ, his name is removed. Corrupting the Bible is essentially a rejection of Christ. Taking the Mark of the Beast is essentially a rejection of Christ. That is why all babies automatically go to Heaven, because their names are all recorded in the Book of Life. This is all speculation, of course, but this interpretation seems to fit well with the puzzle of the Scriptures. I hope that helps a bit.

I humbly believe to reject Jesus as one's Savior is to blaspheme the Holy Spirit.

Beware Of The Catholic “Hallow” Lent Prayer Series

Mark 7:9, “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.”

Just as I suspected, those Catholic false prophets are greedy charlatans. There's always a "Cha-ching" (cash register sound) that comes along with everything they promote and offer. I signed up for their free "Hallow" prayers just to follow it through and see where it leads. Sure enough, it ended up with them demanding payment for Hallow (which I refused to give them).

They falsely claim that it is totally FREE for 90 days, but then you cannot download Hallow without giving them your credit card or PayPal account. THAT IS NOT FREE! That's just like the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation—they falsely claim salvation is FREE while also saying that you cannot have it unless you sacrifice your sinful bad habits and selfish lifestyle. That is NOT free, because you are required to make a payment to obtain it. True salvation is FREE without any stipulations or obligations. You simply TAKE IT by faith!

Anyway, with "Hallow," after 90 days of the so-called FREE trial, they charge you $69.99 for a year. I saved this screenshot of the webpage that I saw...

What wicked phonies! Mark Wahlberg has a net worth of $400,000,000 but I guess that's not enough money for him. I hate the whole idea of prewritten "guided" prayers, which is formal religion, not true Christianity. They've reduced God to a vending machine; that is, you put in a quarter and get what you want. Unreal.

It's March 5th, my birthday. I turned 58 years old today after 5 am. I thank God for the opportunity and privilege to live to see age 58. I arbitrarily picked the number 42 the other day, to see how many famous people died at age 42. The website listed 434 famous people, beginning with Elvis Presley, who died at age 42. Life is so fragile! Proverbs 27:1, “Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.”

I like watching the YouTube channel, "Tragedy Tales."

I saw one of his videos today, showing a woman (a mother) in India just walking down the street, minding her own business. Without warning a large sinkhole opened up and swallowed her 27 feet down into an open leaking sewer pipe that sucked her in and she vanished into the sewer system, never to be seen or heard from again. The local authorities dug up the whole street for a city block in an attempt to find her, but they never did and after several weeks they notified the family that they'd given up. They searched for one more week to give the family time to adjust to the bad news. So sad. Death can come at any time for anyone. I am thankful to God that I have lived to see age 58 today. God is so good!

It bothers me that Baptists today have all but given up on exposing Roman Catholicism as the biggest cult in the world. The problem is that pastors have stopped loving the truth. That is why they feel no compulsion to contend for the faith (Jude 1:3-4). Roman Catholicism is of the Devil. Catholicism is a prisonhouse of religion. From the cradle to the casket, Catholicism has a demonic religious package for you! Religion is the worst thing that ever happened to this world. Religion never saved anybody from the fires of Hell, but it did send billions of people there.
Mark 7:9, “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.”

Lent is totally unbiblical and no born again believer should partake of this pagan ritual. The same is true of Ash Wednesday that traditionally follows a sordid day of debauchery on Mardi Gras (aka, “Fat Tuesday). The general idea is that you indulge in gross immorality on Tuesday, and then get right with God on Wednesday. This is heathendom! Mark 7:9, “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.”

I cannot warn you enough dear reader to RUN from the Satanic Catholic church, which is really a dangerous religious cult. The Bible plainly forbids calling Catholic priests “Father” (Matthew 23:9). The inspired Holy Bible plainly commands us not to make graven images nor bow to them (Exodus 20:4-5). The Bible plainly warns against fall prophets who would come forbidding marriage (e.g., celibacy for priests), and also forbid eating meats (e.g., lent on Fridays). The Roman and Orthodox Catholic churches violate these clear Scriptural prohibitions. How much more obvious proof do you need that Catholicism is of the Devil. Mark 7:9, “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.”

Umpteen teachings in Catholicism are merely THE TRADITIONS OF MEN, not found anywhere in the inspired Holy Bible. I am astonished that over one billion people foolishly follow this manmade cult, which teaches things totally foreign and contrary to the inspired Holy Scripture. RUN from Catholicism if you value your life! Mark 7:9, “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.”

I once witnessed to a dying woman, whose father later angrily gabbed me by the shirt collar and cursed in the Lord's name. He was angry that I told his dying daughter the truth, that she was a sinner and needed to trust Jesus alone to be saved. Thankfully, she did get saved, but neither her Catholic mother or father would trust Christ alone to be saved. Instead, they foolishly clung to the damnable traditions of men fed to them by their Satanic lying Catholic priest. Billions of victims will someday cry aloud from the depths of Hell, fire and brimstone, regretting that instead of obeying the Gospel, they followed their lying Catholic priests. Mark 7:9, “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.”

Pensacola Christian College Teaches Same Wrong Repentance As Church Of Christ Cult

Mark 7:7-9, “Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.”

Acts 15:1, “And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.”

In his YouTube presentation titled, “WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?,” Church of Christ Pastor Don Blackwell
errantly teaches that repentance unto salvation includes three things:
  1. a change of mind
  2. godly sorrow
  3. a change of life (fruit of repentance)
SOURCE: 'What Must I Do To Be Saved?,' by Pastor Don Blackwell
Kindly, Mr. Blackwell makes the same theological error that so many other Bible students make, which is to expand on the simple biblical meaning of “repent” (Greek noun: metanoia) concerning salvation, which means “a change of mind. Pastor Blackwell is guilty of embellishing the true meaning of repentance in the Bible. The Greek verb form of “repent” is metanoeo, which means “to think differently.”

The Bible does not require sorrow over sins to be saved. Sorrow is not repentance, it is penitence. I love this helpful quote from Pastor Brad Strand...
True repentance has nothing to do with “turning from sin” and everything to do with “acknowledging one's sinfulness” (Jonah 3:5). Like the thief on the cross who simply acknowledged his sinfulness (Lk 23:39-43), the only part a person has in salvation is the beggar's part.

SOURCE: Pastor Brad Strand, “The Strand Study Bible,” p 1939
Yes, bravo Brother Strand!

In the aforementioned video, Pastor Blackwell defines repentance as: “a change of mind produced by godly sorrow resulting in a change of life.” Sadly, that is the same damnable heresy taught at Pensacola Christian College (PCC) today. According to Campus Church at PCC (see screenshot below), “Repentance is a change of mind resulting in a change of behavior.” That is not the biblical meaning of repentance to get to Heaven. Sorrow is an emotion (feelings) that develop over time AFTER a sinner is saved. As a new believer grows in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ (2nd Peter 3:18), God gives the feelings. This has nothing to do with being saved itself, which is a free gift (Romans 5:18).

Repentance doesn't require “a change of life” as Don Blackwell and Pensacola Christian College (PCC) errantly teach. ...

Screenshot From Campus Church at PCC on July 21, 2021

Again, Church of Christ pastor, Don Blackwell, defines repentance exactly the same as PCC, saying: “a change of mind produced by godly sorrow resulting in a change of life.” As I have just shown you dear friend, that is the same damnable heresy taught at Pensacola Christian College (PCC) today. May I say truthfully, genuine repentance results in believing the Gospel, it doesn't result in a change of behavior. Behavior modification is NOT part of the new birth, not can it be at any time in order for eternal life to remain a free gift from God. Romans 5:18. “Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.” I love that, the Bible even calls eternal life “the free gift”!!!

Pastor Jack Hyles, in his classic sermon titled, "A Burden Versus A Call," rightly explains in the following excerpt that the proper order of getting saved is: FACTS, then FAITH, then FEELINGS. First you have to know the facts. Then you have to put your faith (reliance) in those facts. And then after you are saved God gives you the feelings.

The Bible plainly teaches in Romans 3:19, “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.” All that God requires of someone to be saved concerning repentance is that you become guilty before God. You've got to know what you're being saved from. You are a guilty sinner and there is a penalty for those sins (Romans 6:23), which is death. This includes the second death where you will burn in Hell forever (Revelation 20:11-15, 21:8). When you repent, you change your mind from what you want to do to get to Heaven, to what God says you must do to get to Heaven. Hebrews 6:1 calls this “repentance from DEAD WORKS.”

A changed life is the fruit of the indwelling Holy Spirit, if we walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:16, “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. If a lost sinner comes to Christ and gets saved, but then doesn't choose to Walk in the Spirit, they will languish in carnality and sin, but that has nothing to do with their eternal security. One saved, always saved!!! To have eternal life is to have eternal security. They are the same doctrine!

I am very disappointed and disgusted with the Sword Of The Lord in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, because they are wickedly bidding Godspeed to PCC in their publication each month. When Dr. John R. Rice  started the Sword, it was with the intent to fight the good fight of faith. Dr. Rice wasn't correct in all his doctrinal positions. For example: He taught that Brooke Westcott and Fenton Hort (who are considered the fathers of every modern Bible revision) were saved  and sincere men. We know for a fact today that they were unsaved reprobates. Pastor Max D. Younce (1935-2023) exposes Westcott and Hort for the infidels they really were (this shocking information should send chills down your spine). This Bible study lecture is part 4B of a 16-part series titled, "King James Bible—Still The Best."

I fully agree with this helpful definition of Lordship Salvation by Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold...
“Lordship Salvation is the unsupportable and unbiblical belief that the performance of good works, the promise of good works, or the evidence of good works, must accompany faith in Christ to establish or provide evidence that such faith has resulted in eternal life.” —Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold, “Jesus Versus John MacArthur”
If a changed life is necessary for the new birth, then eternal life absolutely cannot be called a “free gift” (Romans 5:18). Tragically, what Don Blackwell and PCC are errantly teaching is exactly what Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Roman Catholics and Seventh-Day Adventists falsely teach about repentance, all requiring that YOU turn from your sinful behavior to get to Heaven. The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.

My friend, salvation is a new birth—a supernatural miracle of God in response to a man's faith in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:12-13). Salvation is instant, just as the physical birth is instant. You get saved immediately by faith in Christ (which is justification - Galatians 3:26), but becoming Christlike takes a lifetime (which is sanctification and service - Romans 12:1). One thing has nothing to do with the other. God wants every human being to make two decisions:
  1. SALVATION - The first decision is whether you will receive the only begotten Son (John 3:16), Jesus, the Christ (John 20:31), as your personal Savior (John 1:12-13).
  2. SERVICE - And then for those who do receive Him as Savior, God wants you to decide to become Jesus' disciple, to follow Him as Lord no matter what the cost, to pick up your cross and serve Him all your life (Romans 12:1-3). This second decision is NOT necessary, required or allowed to be saved. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.
My favorite preacher quote is from Pilgrim's Progress book author, John Bunyan...
“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —John Bunyan (1628-1688)
Bravo John Bunyan! In other words, we absolutely must maintain theological separation between SERVICE and SALVATION, because they are two different matters. I love the following helpful quote from Pastor M.R. DeHaan (1891-1965)...
"There is a vast difference between coming to Jesus for salvation and coming after Jesus for service. Coming to Christ makes one a believer, while coming after Christ makes one a disciple. All believers are not disciples. To become a believer one accepts the invitation of the Gospel, to be a disciple one obeys the challenge to a life of dedicated service and separation. Salvation comes through the sacrifice of Christ; discipleship comes only by sacrifice of self and surrender to His call for devoted service. Salvation is free, but discipleship involves paying the price of a separated walk. Salvation can't be lost because it depends upon God's faithfulness, but discipleship can be lost because it depends upon our faithfulness." —Pastor M.R. DeHaan, “Hebrews”; Zondervan Publishing House; 1959 (p. 117)
Oh how I wish and pray that today's incompetent pastors would begin to study, so that they could rightly divide the Word of Truth (2nd Timothy 2:15).

Tragically, most preachers succumb to ecclesiastical peer pressure. That is, most preachers are reluctant to stray away from what most other preachers are preaching, lest they be rejected, ridiculed and shunned as being ignorant. Sadly, the common consensus today is that repentance means to turn away from your sinful past ways, to commit to stop living a lifestyle of sinning anymore, and to submit to follow and obey God's will instead of your self-serving sins (that last statement is an exact quote from PCC's Campus Church). That may sound good to the carnally-minded man, but it is totally unbiblical.

I live in the city of Pensacola. In my mailbox today I found an envelope from Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College (PCC) with my address and the words “To Our Neighbor” on it. I opened the envelope and inside I found a booklet of John & Romans. The booklet has 64 pages in it. The Campus Church logo is printed on the front cover.
I was shocked on page 60 when I read PCC's counterfeit plan of salvation. What I am about to show you is straight from Satan dear reader:
“REPENTANCE — Now is the time to turn from your sin and embrace God. The act of turning away from sin is called 'repentance.' This word implies an inward decision to follow and obey God's will instead of your self-serving sins. It means changing your mind about sin and seeing it as something that grieves God. The Bible says that God patiently waits for all people to make this decision.”

SOURCE: “John & Romans,” Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College, p. 60
Do you still think I bumped my head? What you just read is a counterfeit plan of salvation. Nowhere in the inspired Holy Bible are we taught to “turn from your sin” to be saved. Wicked false prophets ADDED those words. What saith the Scripture? Proverbs 3:5-6, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” Pastors' Jeff Redlin and Timothy Zacharias at PCC's Campus Church are LIARS! Church of Christ Pastor Don Blackwell is a LIAR! Evangelist Ray Comfort is a LIAR!

I've been exposing the cult at Bob Jones University (BJU) since 2014, and now I have been exposing the cult at Pensacola Christian College (PCC) since 2021. By God's grace, I will continue to expose these wicked organizations. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

Many preachers are teaching a false plan of salvation today, turning salvation into a reward, an exchange or a process. Dr. Steve Pettit at BJU has sinfully turned going to Heaven into a process. This is commonly known as the heresy of “The Perseverance of the Saints,” popularized by Dr. John MacArthur and originally taught by heretic John Calvin (1509-1564). Salvation is received, not achieved. Eternal life is a free gift, paid for by Jesus' precious literal blood, which has been sprinkled on the Mercy Seat in Heaven (Hebrews 9:12, 22-24; 10:1, 12:24).

I am saddened that the pseudo-Christian cults have infiltrated the Bibles colleges who train tomorrow's church pastors. PCC sends out thousands of incompetent graduates to corrupt and destroy churches with a counterfeit gospel. Turning from your sinful bad habits is not a part of the simplicity that is in Christ. True repentance has nothing to do with “turning from sin” and everything to do with “acknowledging one's sinfulness” (Jonah 3:5). PCC gets repentance wrong, agreeing with the hellbound Church of Christ cult. Woe unto the PCC cult.

God knows that I love everybody at PCC and Campus Church, but they don't love God or truth. They are worshipping God in vain in their manmade doctrine and false hope of eternal life. Mark 7:7 and 9, “Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. ...Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.” PCC are merely playing church, leading people into Hell with a false gospel.

Most Baptist Pastors Teach Same Roman Catholic Heresy On Repentance

Mark 1:15, “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

The Roman Catholic understanding of repentance is unbiblical. Roman Catholics corrupt the meaning of repent to mean a change of lifestyle. As do all false prophets, the following description of repentance starts off with the correct meaning of “a change of mind,” and then subtly perverts the meaning by the end of the paragraph to mean “a change of lifestyle”...
But what does it mean to truly repent? The Greek word for repentance that is used in the Gospel is metanoia, which literally means "to change one's mind." This "change" of "mind" necessarily entails a profound interior conversion in which we firmly turn from worldly darkness, and embrace a new way of life as Christ's disciples. Thus repentance is not merely to know of Christ, nor is it a matter of picking and choosing—with an intellectual arrogance—some aspects of our Lord's teaching while coldly rejecting others; rather, it is a union of mind, heart and soul to the Person of Christ. To repent is to die to Christ, discarding our former way of life in favor of the Way, Truth, and Life that is Christ himself.

Where in the Bible are we taught that repentance means to “DIE TO CHRIST?” We are saved by trusting Jesus. nothing else. Then as a Christian, God wants us to be crucified with Christ and die to the lusts and desires of the flesh. Please understand that the saved life and the crucified life are separate. If you combine the two, you have a corrupted Gospel, a false plan of salvation. Dr. Jack Hyles does a wonderful job explaining this truth in his awesome MP3 sermon titled, “STEPS TO SANCTIFICATION (OR THE ROOT OF ALL HERESY).” We are saved by trusting Jesus, period. Whether or not you turn away from the old lifestyle of sin DOESN'T keep you from being saved. Eternal life is a free gift (Romans 5:15; Ephesians 2:8-9). You can be saved by simply believing on Jesus Christ, that He died for your sins on the cross, was buried and raised-up from the dead three days later (1st Corinthians 15:1-4).

What Is Genuine Biblical Repentance?

Most churches today have adopted a Roman Catholic interpretation of repentance, which includes penance, forsaking sinful living and changing one's ways to be saved. The Bible teaches something VERY different. Biblical repentance unto life simply means “a change of mind,” that is, a change of mind about whatever was hindering you from coming to the Lord to be saved. John 3:20 says that sin hinders people from coming to the light (Jesus, John 8:12) to be saved, because people living in sin don't want to be reproved and told they are wrong. When a man repents, he acknowledges that he is a guilty sinner in the eyes of a holy God, and so now he comes to Christ by faith to be saved.

Repentance simply means that you acknowledge your sinnership and thus need for Christ to save you. Romans 3:19, “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.” We are saved by believing, not by repenting, but we wouldn't believe if we didn't repent. This is why the words “believe” and “believed” appear 85 times in the Gospel of John, but the word “repent” is never mentioned even once. A person MUST repent to be saved, but repentance does NOT mean changing your sinful ways and turning over a new leaf for God. I am worried about the salvation of umpteen Independent Baptists in our churches today, who have told me that they don't think believing the Gospel is enough to be saved. They have been caught-up into the heresy of Roman Catholicism.

One Baptist man who teaches in a local Bible college said to me a few months ago, “I think there needs to be a little bit more.” That is, he believes it is NOT enough to trust upon Christ's death on the cross for our sins, His burial, and His resurrection three days later to save us. This is the Gospel (good news) according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. The foolish guy also believes that you must purpose in your heart to stop living in a lifestyle of sin. The guy needs to get saved. My friend, there is a fine line between Christianity and the religion of the cults. Grace is not earned, it is offered!

Pastor Harry A. Ironside (1876-1951) correctly understood repentance . . .
“Repentance is the very opposite of meritorious experience. It is the confession that one is utterly without merit, and if he is ever saved at all it can only be through the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ, 'who gave himself a ransom for all.' Here is firm footing for the soul who realizes that all self-effort is but sinking sand. Christ alone is the Rock of our salvation.”

SOURCE: Harry A. Ironside; Except Ye Repent, p. 36)
Clearly, Ironside taught a Free Grace view of the Gospel. Harry A. Ironside correctly recognized repentance as the confession that “one is utterly without merit” and that if one is “ever saved at all it can only be through the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Salvation is without works of self-righteousness. Romans 4:5 plainly teaches that a man's faith is COUNTED for righteousness, i.e., the righteousness of Jesus Christ is imputed to one's heavenly record by faith.
“Repentance is the recognition of my sinnership — the owning before God that I am as vile as He has declared me to be in His holy Word.”

SOURCE: Except Ye Repent, by Dr. Harry Ironside, chapter 3
All that God requires for salvation is that we receive Christ's death, burial and resurrection from the dead three days later as full-payment for our sins. Concerning salvation, “repentance” does NOT mean to cease from sinful bad habits, nor turn over a new leaf, nor make a full surrender to Christ, nor to forsake the world. A person may do all of these things and yet never have believe the Gospel at all. The Gospel is Good News to simply be believed, and not conditions to be achieved.

Gospel + Faith = Salvation (Hebrews 4:2)

“No Christian will ever have his name blotted out of the Lamb’s book of life, for all such have eternal life—which is unforfeitable and everlasting.” — Pastor Harry A. Ironside

Lordship Salvation Refuted

But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew... But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak. —Mark 14:68, 71

Pastor A. Ray Stanford (1916-2012)

The following excellent rebuttal of the heresy of Lordship Salvation is from Dr. Ray Stanford's classic book titled, “Personal Handbook Of Evangelism,” pages 45-49...
CHAPTER VII — “Lordship Salvation”

CHRIST, the SAVIOUR

Jesus Christ is the only Saviour of mankind there is. "There is none other Name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). When He was born, the angel declared, "Unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour which is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2: 11). The prophet Isaiah quotes God as saying, "I, even I, am the LORD; and beside Me there is no Saviour" (Isaiah 43: 11).

The Scriptures are emphatic that God took on flesh in the person of the Son, Jesus Christ, and became man's Saviour (John 1:1-3, 14, 29).

Man's belief or lack of belief in the Saviourship of Jesus does not change the fact that Jesus Christ is truly the Saviour. However, when a man recognizes that Jesus Christ is truly the Saviour and trusts Him to be his Saviour, then-and only then-does that man receive the benefits of Christ's saving power.

Christ died and rose again for all (Hebrews 2:9; I John 2:2), but He saves only those who trust Him. That is to say, even though He is the "Saviour of the world," He saves only those in the world who personally and individually receive Him by faith. God invites "whosoever will" to trust in His Son, but it is an amazing truth of God's Word that men can forbid the Saviour to save them. Such men die without a Saviour, though One was available to them all the time (John 3:16-18; I John 5:10-12; Revelation 22:17).

CHRIST, the LORD

What we have seen about Christ being the Saviour also applies to His Lordship. He IS the Lord, whether men believe it or not. Whether or not a man allows Christ to be his Lord is something else again.

Jesus Christ is the all-knowing, all-powerful Creator and Controller of the universe. Colossians 1:16 says, "All things were created by Him and for Him." Verse 17 adds, ". . . by Him all things consist . . . (or, are held together)." God led Paul to write that Jesus Christ is the "blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords" (I Timothy 6 :15 ) . The One who was crucified on Calvary was none other than the Lord of Glory (I Corinthians 2:8).

Some may ask if Jesus was really LORD when men "by wicked hands crucified" Him. Absolutely! For He said, ". . . I lay down My life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself, I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again . . ." (John 10:17, 18).

Is He Lord now, though some men refuse to let Him rule in their lives? Certainly! The Bible says, ". . . know assuredly that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ (Messiah)." The time is coming when EVERYONE will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10, 11).

THE ISSUE INVOLVED

Just as you receive the Saviour by faith and He becomes YOUR Saviour, when you allow Christ to control your life, He becomes YOUR LORD. There is an increasing number of "evangelicals" today who are preaching that in order for a man to be saved he must not only receive Christ as his Saviour, but also must make Him absolute Lord and Master of his life.

This doctrine has been termed "Lordship salvation" and has absolutely no support from the Word of God. It is, in fact, another subtle way Satan has invented to get Bible-believing men to add works to salvation without, perhaps, their realizing it, and to do it in such a way that it sounds spiritual and good.

What could SOUND more spiritual or honoring to the Lord than statements like: "Either Christ is Lord of all, or He is not Lord at all. And if He is not Lord then He is not your Saviour. You are lost. You must turn over all the strings of your life to Him-then He will save you. Give your life to Him if you want to be truly saved." This is what is taught.

The truth of the matter is that salvation is not a "give" proposition at all; it is a "take" proposition. We don't give our hearts, lives, wills, or anything else to God in order to get Him to save us. This would be a form of bribery, a way of meriting or deserving to be saved-but God says salvation is "NOT OF OURSELVES"-and especially, it is not offering anything to God.

Salvation is receiving! We simply receive His Son. John 1:12 says, "But as many as RECEIVED Him, to them gave He power (the right) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name." God does the giving. We do the receiving.

God GAVE His Son (John 3:16).

God GIVES eternal life to those who trust His Son (John 10:28).

God GIVES believers everything they need through His Son (Romans 8:32).

Christ didn't come to have us sacrifice, or minister, or give our life to Him . . . but He came to be OUR sacrifice, to minister to US, and to give His life a ransom payment for OUR sin. "For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many" (Mark 10:45).

God offers to save us as sinners and doesn't require us to stop sinning and start obeying Him before He saves us. "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." I John 1:8 tells us that "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." No one can say that he stopped his sinning and THEN the Lord saved him. It is impossible. Be careful not to ask a person to do the impossible. Remember, God did not require it of you either. It is only after a person is saved that the Holy Spirit will give him the power to control his old nature and live a life pleasing to the Lord (Philippians 2:13).

"Lordship salvation" is sometimes preached by men who are sincerely sick of the low spiritual level of the "average" Christian. So these men begin preaching a message they hope will bring more lasting and noticeable results. We can sympathize with these preachers. The spiritual condition of believers is often deplorable. But even a casual reading of the New Testament reveals that the early church had the same problems. See I Corinthians 3:1-4; 5:1-5; Galatians 4:8-11; Hebrews 5:12 14; and II Thessalonians 3:6-15.

What did the early apostles do to combat this problem of spiritual weakness? Did they change the gospel message from "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved" to "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, give up sin, and let Him rule over all the details of your life, and thou shalt be saved"? Of course not! That isn't the gospel! God doesn't give the Holy Spirit in response to a "grace plus works" message for salvation.

What did the apostles do? They emphasized the proper doctrines to meet the needs of the people. Such great life transforming truths as the Holy Spirit of God indwelling the believer, Christ's at-any-moment return, the eternal destiny of the lost, and the fact that "every one of us must give account of himself to God"-these were brought to bear on the children of God, and the Holy Spirit did His work of convicting and changing lives.

The problem does not lie with God's message of salvation. That is eternal and unchanging. It will always be sufficient to do what it is intended to do-to save souls. The problem is that God's people have not had the great Biblical truths applied to their lives, and so they are living at a spiritually low ebb.

If a person has to make Christ Lord of his life to be saved, why are most of the New Testament epistles filled with commands, warnings, exhortations, and pleas for the child of God to yield to Christ's Lordship?

If "Lordship salvation" were true, these people wouldn't even be children of God! But it is apparent that they are, for throughout the epistles they are called "brethren," "saints," "believers," etc.

Now since it is obvious that God DOES exhort His own children to ALLOW Him to control them, to be their Lord, then it is just as obvious that they did not HAVE to make Him Lord in order to be saved. Consider these passages where God pleads with His own children to allow Him to control them: Romans 6:12, 13; 12:1, 2; Galatians 5:16; 3:1-3; Ephesians 4:1-3; 6:10-17. When the pastor FEEDS his sheep they will not lack knowing how to be spiritual (Jeremiah 23:4, 28; Acts 20:18-32; II Timothy 4:2).

CONSIDERATION OF ROMANS 10:9

This is the primary verse used to try to prove the teaching of "Lordship salvation." The King James translation reads, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." A more literal rendering of part of this verse is, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord . . . thou shalt be saved." This is where the advocates of "Lordship salvation" get their basis for the doctrine.

However, notice several things about the context of this verse. First of all, Paul is writing primarily of unbelieving Israel. From a human standpoint, the Jews had a very real part in crucifying Christ; see Acts 2:22, 23, 36; 4:10-12. Had they realized that Jesus was God Himself, they certainly would not have had a part in His death (I Corinthians 2:7, 8). Therefore, unbelieving Jews (and anyone else who wants to be saved) must own up to the fact that Jesus is the Lord- that He is God Himself-and all who call upon Him this way are saved (Romans 10:9, 10, 13). The emphasis here is not upon making Jesus Lord of someone's life, but rather on recognizing His true identity-that He is God! In John 8:24 we find that if a person doesn't believe Christ is God, he will die in his sins.

Notice, too, that nowhere in the entire chapter of Romans 10 are our lives in view. Instead, the emphasis is on His person. The issue here is not so much what l do, but who He is. The question is not one of service but of salvation. Never confuse the two. Salvation becomes ours when we trust Christ to SAVE us. Effective service is ours through OBEDIENCE. Salvation primarily involves the spirit and our eternal destiny; it is a gift ( John 5: 24). Service involves the body and our present earthly life; it is labor for which rewards are given (Romans 12:1, 2; I Corinthians 3:8-15; Luke 10:2).

The late Dr. M. R. DeHaan realized the importance of keeping salvation and service separate and said so well: "There is a vast difference between coming to Jesus for salvation and coming after Jesus for service. Coming to Christ makes one a believer, while coming after Christ makes one a disciple. All believers are not disciples. To become a believer one accepts the invitation of the Gospel. To be a disciple one obeys the challenge of a life of dedicated service and separation.

Salvation comes through the sacrifice of Christ, but discipleship comes only by sacrifice of self and surrender to His call for devoted service. Salvation is free, but discipleship involves paying the price of a separated walk. Salvation cannot be lost, because it depends upon God's faithfulness, but discipleship can be lost, because it depends upon our faithfulness."

REASONS FOR NOT TEACHING “LORDSHIP SALVATION”...

1. It contradicts Scripture; therefore, it cannot be true. This one reason should settle the matter completely. If a doctrine is contrary to what God says, then it should be discarded immediately. See Rom. 3:4; Titus 2:7; Gal. 4: 16.

2. It causes confusion and frustration to the unbeliever because it leaves the impression that salvation is by works. Therefore, the lost person often puts off accepting Christ until he is "ready" to turn his entire life over to the Lord. If the truth were presented to such a person, that salvation is free, but that after we are saved the Lord would work in our lives, perhaps he would trust Christ. Because of a "grace plus works" message he might NEVER trust Christ (I Cor. 14:8,9).

3. This message CANNOT SAVE. If anyone gets saved during such a message, it will be because God has honored a portion of His Word IN SPITE of the unscriptural teaching brought into the message (Rom. 4:5; Gal. 5:1-4; Rom. 11:6; Isa. 55:8-11; Rom.10:17).

4. This message is accursed of God. Any message, no matter how "good" it may sound, is condemned by God unless it is His own salvation message. HIS message is the only one that saves. All others are of satanic or fleshly origin and curse men to hell. Therefore, God curses such a message (Acts 4:12; John 14:6; Galatians 1:6-9; II Corinthians 11:13 15; Galatians 3:1-3).

5. The person who preaches such a message is also accursed of God. Strong statement? Yes, but it is what God says. A man who preaches man's efforts have a part in salvation is leading people to hell, not heaven. Even if a man believes he is sincere, a wrong message still has the effects of the wrong message. Sincerity is no substitute for truth (Deuteronomy 27:18; Proverbs 17:15; 19:5; Jeremiah 23:1).

6. It, in effect, makes God a liar and the Bible untrue. If salvation really does come to those who turn over their lives to Christ, then God has been wrong all the time, throughout the entire Bible, because salvation is taught from Genesis to Revelation to come only through faith (Titus 1:2, 3; Romans 3: 4).

7. It causes even Christian preachers to further the error by thinking it might have some merit and preaching it themselves. One well-known Christian returned to America from some meetings he held in a foreign country and made a statement like this: "I really made it difficult for them to accept Christ over there. In America it's too easy to become a Christian, so I made it hard for them there. I told them accepting Christ meant turning from their sins, reading their Bibles, praying every day, giving up bad habits, and going to church regularly. And in spite of such a hard message hundreds made decisions for Christ."

WHAT A TRAGEDY! When people hear the true gospel after hearing this type of message, they are often unable to distinguish what is truth from what is error, and so many are left confused and unsaved.

8. The preaching of this error robs the one preaching it of reward. Paul said, "What is our . . . crown? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?" The more we are able to win to Christ, the more souls will be in heaven, and so the more reward we will have. But those who preach a confused message hinder people from trusting Christ as their Saviour. Therefore, many souls are left unsaved, and so these preachers will not have the reward that they could have had (I Thessalonians 2: 19, 20; II John 8; I John 2:28; I Corinthians 9:18).

9. It confuses "laymen" believers and causes them to be ineffective in their witness. A girl recently asked, "I know that you are sincere and seem to have Scripture to back up what you teach, but my pastor is also sincere and teaches differently about salvation than you do. How do I know which one of you is right? How can I witness when I don't know what to tell people?"

A confused believer isn't going to be a faithful witness because he is going to be in constant turmoil over what to say. When he does try to witness, he will probably give out some mixture of "grace and works" that will not only confuse the lost person, but will also bring discouragement to the believer when he doesn't find people responding to his witness. When the gospel is given out, pure and simple, there will be results. The gospel is good news, and people respond to it.

10. It hinders the growth of the body of Christ. This is one of the results of the above (#9). When the believer's mouth is stopped (regardless of the reason), then the natural flow of fruit-bearing is stopped. Since Christ's body is composed of believers, the growth of His body is hindered when souls are not won (John 15: 8, 16) .

Incidentally, this will also stop the growth of the local church as well. It is so obvious when you stop to think about it. Why any preacher thinks this accursed "grace and works" message would in any way benefit anyone is a puzzle to me. Let's learn to THINK THINGS THROUGH!

11. It brings persecution to the believers who stand firm for the Scriptural message of "justification by faith." Those who are clear on the gospel are often accused of preaching "easy believism" or "cheap grace." Nothing could be further from the truth! Tell me, is a person ever saved by "hard" believism? Certainly no Christian I know believes in "cheap" grace! This is absurd. God's grace is precious. The blood of Jesus is precious. The price our Lord paid for our redemption was so high that nothing can be compared with its great value. Salvation is anything but cheap. It is free to us only because Jesus paid the full price. And that price was His precious life blood (I Peter 1:18, 19).

God has gone through so MUCH to provide redemption for us! When I think that Jesus even gave His life-died such a horrible death-in order to provide eternal life as a free gift to those who would accept His payment by faith . . . and then someone comes along who professes to be a child of God and wants to make salvation HARD for the lost person . . . how the heart of our dear Saviour must break!

"Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, where with he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?" ( Hebrews 10: 29)

I doubt seriously if anyone could carefully read the Gospel accounts of what Christ went through to purchase our salvation and ever again speak glibly of "cheap grace." No one is ever saved by "cheap grace." They are saved by PRICELESS, AMAZING GRACE! Don't let Satan blind you to the fact that salvation REALLY IS FREE to man. Don't listen to him when he insinuates that "justification by faith" is a dangerous doctrine that will lead to "loose living." The greatest soulwinners who ever lived believed in salvation by grace through faith, and they preached it faithfully . . . and God blessed them and their ministry for it.

We have a miracle salvation-provided and preserved by God Himself! Let's give out the good news of this salvation simply and faithfully for His glory.

"But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord" (I Corinthians 1 :30, 31).

Billy Graham's Apostasy Into Global Religion

Mark 7:6-9, “He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

Billy Graham's (1918-2018) fall into apostasy began in the 1950's, when he embraced Roman Catholicism as an acceptable form of Christianity. The big problem with that is that Catholicism is a form of counterfeit Christianity! The cult teaches salvation through rituals, salvation through sacraments, salvation through a priesthood; that God's grace is not accessed through faith in Christ alone, as the Bible plainly teaches, but only through the Satanic rituals of the Catholic church.

Roman Catholicism teaches that Christ's one time sacrifice on the cross was not sufficient; that His salvation is not permanent; that God's grace is only a temporary empowerment, access to the sacraments, where Catholics must come back to the priests for a weekly refueling of God's grace, which is dispensed through the Mass. Dear reader, this is an abominable form of Babylonian idolatry, whereby Christ is offered over and over weekly for sin!!! Jeremiah 7:18, “The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.” ...

The Satanic Virgin Mary, aka, The Queen Of Heaven

Evangelist Billy Graham was a wicked imposter, a prophet for hire, an unsaved infidel who preached another gospel of partial faith in Christ plus works, a modern day Balaam.

The following helpful information is quoted from Jesus-is-Lord website...
Billy Graham, Catholicism and Apostasy

Billy Graham chillin' with the Pope in Nov. 1982
Billy Graham praises the pope, a man who allows himself to be called God (see Blasphemy 101
When Billy Graham was on the Phil Donahue show on 10-11-79, he said that pope John Paul II was someone that he could quote with "some real authority." He also said that the world was looking for a spiritual leader and that the pope didn't pull any punches. [Lord have mercy, Jesus]

For a newspaper clipping showing Graham praising the pope as "almost an evangelist", click here.
Billy Graham receives honorary degree from Catholic college
Billy Graham received an honorary doctorate from Catholic priests at Belmont Abbey College in 1967. He called it, "a time when Protestants and Catholics could meet together and greet each other as brothers, whereas 10 years ago they could not". He joked around, "I'm not sure but what this could start me being called "Father Graham".

("Belmont Abbey Confers Honorary Degree," Paul Smith, Gazette staff reporter, The Gastonia Gazette, Gastonia, North Carolina, Nov. 22, 1967).
Billy Graham turns Catholic converts back to Catholic religion
These poor people come forward to receive Christ but when the Billy Graham counsellors get to 'em they turn them back over to Catholic priests--keeping them in the same system of bondage!

In 1957, Graham said, "Anyone who makes a decision at our meetings is seen later and referred to a local clergyman, Protestant, Catholic, or Jewish." (San Francisco News).

According to The Florida Catholic (Sept. 1983) 600 people were turned over to the Catholic religion as a result of the Orlando crusade.

At Billy Graham's 1984 Vancouver, British Columbia crusade, the vice-chairman of the organizing committee said, "If a Catholic steps forward there will be no attempt to convert them and their names will be given to the Catholic church nearest their homes" (Vancouver Sun, Oct. 5, 1984). [Lord, have mercy!]

Billy Graham even had a Catholic priest SUPERVISE the 6,600 counselors for the Denver crusade. Information on the hundreds of Catholics who came forward were sent to a Catholic organization in Denver. (Wilson Ewin, Evangelism: The Trojan Horse of the 1990s).

An ecumenical advisor to the Catholic religion noted in 1989 that "Those who come forward for counseling during a mission evening in June, if they are Roman Catholic, will be directed to a Roman Catholic 'nurture-group' under Roman Catholic counselors in their home area" (John Ashbrook, New Neutralism II, Mentor, Ohio: Here I Stand Books, 1992, p. 35).

The Catholic archdiocese in Portland, Oregon, set a goal to supply 6,000 of the 10,000 counselors needed for the Graham crusade. All Catholics responding to the altar call were channeled to the Catholic religion. These are just a few examples of many.
Billy Graham thinks infants can become Christian through baptism
But the Bible says that by the works of the flesh shall no man be justified. Baptism comes after faith in Jesus Christ. Look what Billy Graham told the Lutheran Standard in October 1967:
"I do believe that something happens at the baptism of an infant... we cannot fully understand the mysteries of God, but I believe that a miracle can happen in these children so that they are regenerated, that is, MADE CHRISTIAN, THROUGH INFANT BAPTISM."
Billy Graham don't believe hell is literal fire
"...I think people have a hard time believing God is going to allow people to burn in literal fire forever. I think the fire that is mentioned in the Bible is a burning thirst for God that can never be quenched."

The Orlando (Florida) Sentinel for April 10, 1983
Hell ain't based on our human reasoning. According to Matthew's gospel, it was created for the devil and his angels, but people that reject Jesus Christ will be up in there too.
Billy Graham let apostate Catholic Bishop bless new converts
In 1962, a Roman Catholic bishop of Sao Paulo, Brazil, blessed the people that came forward at the invitation. (Daily Journal, International Falls, Minnesota, Oct. 29, 1963, cited by the New York Times, Nov. 9, 1963).

Those poor people came to Graham for help and he let an idolator bless them. Has he not read that behind every idol is a devil? Yet he let that man "bless" the people of God.
Billy Graham befriends heretics
Based on what I've read, this apparently is not an uncommon practice by Billy Graham. In 1959, he had the liberal Bishop James A. Pike lead in prayer at one of his events. Yet Pike said in an episcopal letter: "Religious myth is one of the avenues of faith and has an important place in the communication of the Gospel." He called the garden of Eden a myth and said, "The virgin birth... IS A MYTH which churchmen should be free to accept or reject..."

What I've supplied here don't even touch the tip of the iceberg of Billy Graham's cozy relationships with heretics.
Billy Graham gives stamp of approval on practically every Bible version that comes out
In fact, I cut out one of his endorsements for the "New Living Translation." He says, "...I am pleased to recommend the New Living Translation for even greater readability and accuracy." The authorized King James is highly readable and pinpoint accurate. People been getting saved by reading the authorized King James and they've been growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ through it. There is no need for another "translation." But the devil will keep 'em coming.

Catholics commit idolatry by worshipping their priests. Matthew 23:9, “And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.” ...

The Satanic Virgin Mary, aka, The Queen Of Heaven

Dear friend, now please read what my friend Michael P. Bowen correctly says about how to get to Heaven, as quoted from pages 59 and 28 of his tremendous book titled: “I Never Knew You: The Horror Of The Great White Throne Judgment And How You Can Avoid It.” (free .pdf format). ...
The gospel message is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. When we believe that Jesus died for us and came back to life three days later, He knows it — He knows all of your thoughts — and He knows the very instant that you believe His gospel message. The instant you believe His message, Jesus saves you. Time and time again we see in the bible that when people heard this message, they “believed.” When they believed, they were saved that very same instant. They did not pray prayers of salvation asking Jesus into their hearts. They did not commit their lives to the Lordship of Christ. They did not determine to follow Him all the days of their lives in obedience to His Lordship or to the practice of discipleship. They simply believed on Christ alone as their savior.
It doesn’t matter how successful a ministry is, or how beautiful and satisfying their particular plan of salvation may be. If what they say about salvation does not match with what Christ said about salvation, their plan is counterfeit and falls under the label of an “accursed message.” Galatians 1:8-9 says, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
If you were to have asked Paul how to be saved, he would have told you the same thing he told the Philippian jailer in Acts 16:31: “...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved...” And if you were to ask Jesus Christ how to be saved, He would tell you the same thing that He told Nicodemus in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Jesus said “believe.”

That is so beautiful and clear to understand. The Bible plainly defines THE GOSPEL in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 as:
1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
I didn't see anything in Paul's proclamation of the Gospel (which he received directly from Jesus, not from man - Galatians 1:12) about repenting of your sins. Neither did you see anything. I am so sick and tired of corrupt preachers embellishing God's simple plan of salvation. The Gospel is so easy, simple, plain and delicate, that it is very easily corrupted. Perhaps we should label the Gospel as do fragile packages when we ship them... “FRAGILE! HANDLE WITH CARE!” Dear friend, there is nothing in this universe as fragile as God's simple plan of salvation.
