Every Christian Believer Has A Duty To Struggle For The Faith

Jude 1:3-4, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The phrase "earnestly contend for" in Jude 1:3 comes from one Greek word, epagōnizomai, which means: "to struggle for." Literally, as God's children we have a Biblical duty to STRUGGLE FOR the faith.

The Devil never sleeps! Satan knows that his time is short and is relentlessly working night and day to kill, steal and destroy all that is good, holy and righteous in God's sight. We must be wise as believers, "Redeeming the time, because the days are evil" (Ephesians 5:16). We must STRUGGLE for the faith once delivered unto the saints. That is, we must "Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God" (Revelation 3:2).

One of the worst sins that I see today are Christians leaders and laymen alike who are indifferent toward false teachers and heresy which has crept into the churches. There is a shameful attitude among many clergy today that it isn't our business what other churches teach and preach. Nothing could be further from THE TRUTH. It is our responsibility to contend (struggle) for the faith.

What if saw an arsonist setting fire to your neighbour's house, but you did nothing? What kind of person would you be if you quietly went into your home with the attitude that it is not your business? Later you learn that your neighbours house burned down and he died along with his wife and five children. You would be a monster! In a sense you would be just as horrible as the arsonist. It is even worse when professed Christians choose not to expose false teachings about salvation in Bible colleges and churches today, which send people into an eternal Lake of Fire.

The Bible exhorts every child of God to STRUGLE for the faith once delivered unto the saints. That is, THE TRUTH of the infallible, preserved, inerrant, perfect, accurate, incorruptible and inspired Word of God. I believe that Holy Book to be the inspired King James Bible for English-speaking people today. Only the King James Bible faithfully uplifts, honors and exalts the Lord Jesus Christ. All of the Devil's modern Bible revisions attack the deity of Jesus, removing every mention of people worshipping Him, replacing the word worship with bowed or knelt. Well you can bow to propose to your fiancée or knee before a king without worshipping either. You see, people worshipped Jesus (like the leper in Matthew 8:2) because He is God. The Devil and his unsaved religious crowd hate Jesus, rejecting His deity.

Let me bring this vital matter home some more. Bob Jones University (BJU) officially uses and promotes the English Stand Version (ESV), which is a dastardly perversion of God's Word. The ESV perverts the meaning of Bible repentance, completely removes every mention of the word sodomite, promotes feminism, assaults the deity of Jesus and pulls on the same rope as the Devil. Even subtle changes to words used and sentence structure can produce major changes in intended meaning. Case in point, look how the ESV corrupts Galatians 5:4.

There is a sickening, loathsome, disgusting, shallow, form of lukewarm Christianity today that only seeks the positive while avoiding the negative. When I attended the Lighthouse Baptist Church on Guam for several months in 2018, Pastor Sean Quinlan told the church congregation that he didn't want any controversies in his church. Folks, that is a HORRIBLE PASTOR!!! Quinlan was so interested in growing the church that he feared a church split if any controversies arose in the congregation. That sorry rascal confirmed what I say, when he scolded me for talking with other believers in the church about the Devil's modern corrupt Bibles. Pastor Quinlan shamefully rebuked me outside the front door of the church, saying: “I'm trying to build something here. I said I didn't want any controversies in this church.” What a lousy servant of God!

Dear reader, if you think you are building a church for God while shunning THE TRUTH, then you are building in vain!!! Psalms 127:1, “Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” Does not the Word of God teach that the Church is the pillar and ground of THE TRUTH? 1st Timothy 3:15, “But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.”

It makes no sense that a pastor of a local New Testament church would shun a fellow believer who is zealous about the Word of God. I never interfered with Pastor Quinlan's preaching. I always keep quiet in church. I never tried to usurp influence over the pastor. Sean Quinlan is very wrong on multiple levels. Pastor Quinlan had seen my websites and unjustly criticized me, saying: “You're not an apostle!” I couldn't believe how shallow he was thinking. What a sad little man! I wouldn't give you a dime for a horrible pastor who shuns THE TRUTH in a church, and discourages Christians from learning and telling THE TRUTH.

The truth is that I was, and still am, and always will be, zealous about THE TRUTH. Jesus said that out of the abundance of a man's heart he speaketh (Luke 6:45). I cannot help but speak THE TRUTH!!! It is who I am, praise God. I love God. I love the Word of God. I love the truth! Psalms 15:2, “He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.” If you speak truth in your heart, then Jesus said it will come out of your mouth! But in today's pathetic churches you will very likely be kicked out for telling THE TRUTH.

I cannot help but share THE TRUTH with other people when I engage in private conversations. Pastor Quinlan was upset with me because he admittedly to eavesdropping on my private conversations at church. He said that he'd been listening to me talk around the church for several months and was tired of me always talking about the Bible issue. I couldn't believe how wicked he was talking. You'd think that the one person in the world who would commend and encourage a person to speak THE TRUTH would be a Baptist pastor!!! That's not what happened, Sean Quinlan berated me for sharing THE TRUTH. Proverbs 12:17, “He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.”

I do not hate Pastor Quinlan, God forbid. I am not mentioning his name to be mean or vengeful. God knows my heart. I am obeying Titus 1:10-13 to “REBUKE THEM SHARPLY” that they might be sound in the faith. Psalms 97:10, “Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.” I hate evil. If Pastor Quinlan were right with God, then he would hate evil as I do, and rejoice to hear other believers hating evil too! I hate the Devil's modern Bible revisions. I hate the Devil's lie of Calvinism (aka, “Lordship” salvation). I hate the Devil's false idea that Bible repentance means you must turn away from sinful ways to receive God's gift of eternal life. I hate what God hates, evil; I do not hate people or institutions. I do not hate Bob Jones University, I hate their Calvinism, theological lies, worldliness, misunderstood repentance and Devil's Bibles!

2nd John 1:1-2, “The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.” The Gospel is the light of the truth. Getting saved is a matter of believing THE TRUTH. Jesus is the way, THE TRUTH, and the life (John 14:6). The Bible has much to say about THE TRUTH. I have often wondered why God authored the Bible the way He did, requiring men to “RIGHTLY DIVIDE” the Word of Truth to find the correct meaning. Why did God not just make the Bible more clear? That sure would eliminate a lot of theological debate, wouldn't it? I honestly do not know the answer to that question. But my guess is that God did make the Bible clear to understand, for those who are led by the Holy Spirit of God into all truth. Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would teach and guide us into all TRUTH (John 16:13). Amen and amen!

I clearly see a free grace Gospel in the inspired King James Bible. The reason why Calvinists see salvation as a process is because they are not true believers. To the unsaved man, error makes sense. The Bible teaches in 1st Corinthians 2:14-16 that the natural (or unsaved) man cannot understand spiritual things. If a man is wrong on repentance and the Gospel, he is going to go astray on everything else too. It's like the buttons on a dress shirt. If you get the first button wrong, then all the other buttons will be wrong too! You simply cannot trust a preacher who is corrupt on the plan of salvation.

Pastor John MacArthur says a lot of great things theologically and in a limited sense is a brilliant Bible teacher, yet he is a damnable modernist false prophet, a hardcore Calvinist and an unsaved infidel. I cannot recommend for anyone to listen to anything from John MacArthur, because his mindset is horribly wrong regarding how to get to Heaven. MacArthur is like Charles Spurgeon, one moment they seem to preach a free grace Gospel, but the next moment hardcore Calvinism and “Lordship” salvation. Folks, it cannot be both! There is nothing more frustrating and worse than a preacher who talks out of both sides of his mouth. Evangelist Oliver B. Greene is one of them!!!

There is not one verse in the Bible that requires someone to turn away from their sins to be saved. I seriously question the salvation of Oliver B. Greene. Sadly, the most popular preachers of every generation were nearly all hellbound false teachers. If you read the preceding article that I wrote, I share some quotes from Dr. Greene, showing that in 1970 he completely flip-flopped his doctrinal position that earlier quotes he made in his books. At a minimum Dr. Greene was a confused man. I have read his many commentaries on the Bible, which are beneficial and intriguing, but that doesn't mean he is in Heaven today.

The bottom line is what is THE TRUTH. Romans 3:4 says: LET GOD BE TRUE, BUT EVERY MAN A LIAR!!! I am simply going by the inspired Word of God. The Gospel of John is God's Gospel tract according to John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” Repeatedly throughout the Gospel of John and the Holy Bible, we are taught that the simple way of salvation is to BELIEVE on Christ. Acts 10:43, “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.” We never read anything about turning away from sinful bad habits or living a changed life. Wicked infidel preachers like Marty Herron and Steve Pettit need to stop corrupting the Word of God and casting stumbling blocks before the people!!!

I could write a book about the wickedness of Pastor Sean Quinlan's pathetic attitude! Quinlan called The hardcore Calvinist Harvest Baptist Church on Guam their “sister church.” You mean sister in spiritual whoredom!!! I sharply rebuked Sean Quinlan in his wickedness, for bidding Godspeed to evildoers in the Bob Jones University camp who use, sell and promote the Devil's corruptible seed. 2nd John 1:11, “For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” This is not “weaknesses” in other pastors as pastor Jeff Redlin (the shameful senior pastor at Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College) horribly said to me in July of 2021. After looking over my ministry websites, Redlin shamefully accused me of finding the weaknesses of preachers. No, I expose the damnable heresies and counterfeit gospel of the hellbound Calvinist crowd!!! I am so sick and tired of incompetent pastors today who bid Godspeed to evildoers in the Bob Jones University camp who promote the Devil's corruptible seed, preach another gospel of “Lordship” salvation (i.e., Calvinism), preach a false idea of repentance that requires people to modify their behavior to get to Heaven, et cetera.

I have faithfully taken a Biblical stand against the Devil's false Bible, the Devil's false gospel of Calvinism, the Devil's false repentance, the Devil's Bible colleges, the Devil's churches and the Devil's false preachers since 2002 (and by God's grace I intend to continue doing so until God calls me home to be with Him in Heaven). SHAME ON PENSACOLA CHRISTIAN COLLEGE (PCC) and CAMPUS CHURCH for their sinful attitude of isolationism, refusing the fight (struggle) for the faith once delivered unto the saints. It is because of lackadaisical bad pastors like Jeff Redlin and Sean Quinlan that preachers like me have to preach that much harder, longer and zealously, to make up for their indifference, cowardice and lack of concern. That dear friend is why I am so obsessed, rude in my Bible preaching at times and sharp in my tone, as a communication tool to convey THE TRUTH. Since the PCC camp choose to remain neutral in the work of God, I have to compensate for their wickedness! If you become aware of a lie, and you do nothing to expose the lie, you then become part of the lie!

Calvinism is a deadly serpent, far more contagious and lethal than COVID-19. The question is do you care? If your house were on fire I would call 911 and run to warn you. I wouldn't go inside my cozy home and close the door to watch TV, while your home burns to the ground. That is exactly what Pensacola Christian College (PCC) is doing today, hiding in their little group while Bob Jones University (BJU) are sending people to Hell with Devil's Bibles and the Devil's lies of Calvinism. Somebody needs to care! I sure feel lonely out here in cyberspace. Sadly, Google has censored 85% of my webpages at Jesus-is-Savior.com, soulwinning.info, Jesusisprecious.org and other ministry websites. I am not sure why Google is censoring THE TRUTH, but God ultimately controls what happens to my labors. Colossians 4:3, “Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:” I preach THE TRUTH for Jesus!

Every child of God has a responsibility to STRUGLE for the faith. I don't see that happening in most of our Bibles colleges and churches today, I see a bunch of religious people who are desperate to pay their bills and need continued employment, so they dip their sails in sinful compromise, go along to get along with their shallow peers in the clergy, sell out and let the world go to Hell. Part of being a faithful Christian is contending for the faith. We are all engaged in a spiritual war (Ephesians 6:12). Every VOICE matters! I am a VOICE!!! I am struggling for the faith, how about you? I seem to be one of very few Christians today who is upset over the Devil's Bibles, the Devil's lie of Calvinism, the Devil's lie of turning from sins to prove your saved, et cetera. It's rare nowadays to find a Christian who gets upset over legalized abortion. Why aren't more believers outraged? Where are the 7,000 saints who have not bowed their knee to Baal? Who cares? I do!
