YEC causes theologians to force 10 pounds of rice into a 5 pound bag! For example: One popular YEC teacher is Henry Morris III (1942-2020), who took his readers for a journey to The Twilight Zone in his bizarre book entitled, “5 REASONS TO BELIEVE IN RECENT CREATION,” in which he bizarrely claims that Noah brought baby dinosaurs aboard the ark, and then God stunted their growth for one year while aboard the ark. Folks, if you believe this nonsense by Henry Morris III, you are a bonafide fool.

Notice carefully that in all 5 reasons submitted by Dr. Morris III, he dishonestly attempts to disprove an Old Earth by turning proponents of an Old Earth into evolutionists! Most proponents of an Old Earth DON'T believe in the evolutionary process (that is, the teaching that the universe formed from a Big Bang 13 billion years ago, and then evolved, and continues to evolve). I DON'T BELIEVE IN EVOLUTION!!! I am a firm believer in an Old Earth, yet I do NOT believe in evolution in any way, fashion or form. Neither do I believe in Theistic Evolution (that is, the teaching that God created the universe, and then it evolved). I believe the inspired holy Bible, which teaches that God created everything from nothing by the Word of His mouth. 2nd Peter 3:5, “For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water.”
When you take away the teachings of evolution, Young Earth proponents lose nearly all of their ammunition. Ken Ham's hoax of a ministry took in $34,000,000 in 2018. We live in a generation of very stupid churchgoers, who will believe anything they are told!!! Spiritual crime pays! There Are Too Many Evidences To Ignore An Old Earth Fact
The following passage of Scripture concerning Lucifer further evidences an Old Earth...
Isaiah 14:12, “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”Here are some interesting questions concerning Lucifer:
- Where was Lucifer when he said, “I will ASCEND into heaven?” Clearly he was not in heaven at the time.
- Where was Lucifer when he said, “I will ascend ABOVE THE HEIGHTS OF THE CLOUDS”? How do you ascend above the clouds unless you are below the clouds?
The only logical answer is that Lucifer was on earth, under the clouds, which is where his throne was located before man was created. There are many problems with a Young Earth view. I respect the right of others to have their own opinions. It is ok to agree to disagree. Most believers in churches today are proponents of a Young Earth view.

We see human civilization develop since about 4,000 BC, which is the date indicated by the Bible for creation as we know it. There were no humans prior to 4,000 BC! It is clear to me that prior to mankind, there was a prehistoric world that existed, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, and Lucifer desired to ascend above the clouds (Isaiah 14:14).
As a consequence of the rebellion and fall of Lucifer from glory (Ezekiel 28), the fallen angels became disembodied spirits (demons). That is why demons always seek a host (animal or human) to possess, because they do not have a body of their own anymore. All of God's angels in the Bible appear in their own physical body. The two angels which appeared unto Lot, literally ate a physical meal (“a feast” the Bible calls it in Genesis 19:3). I would have loved to partake of that big feast with them! Angels love to eat dear reader! Angels exist up in Heaven today with physical bodies. Heaven is a physical place in the north. Jesus and the Father have physical bodies, and sit upon physical thrones. I think that is so awesome and encouraging, because I love to eat too! Jesus loved eating and drinking, which He did often with His disciples, including after He resurrected from the dead.
In order to eat, Jesus' resurrected body must have had blood and fluids to facilitate the digestive process. We do not know for certain. Jesus' glorified body had scars, which He encouraged doubting Thomas to touch, to verify he was real and not a ghost. The Holy Bible promises that every Christian believer will one day receive a perfect body too, fashioned like unto the Lord's resurrected body (Philippians 3:21). I cannot wait!!! This will happen at the Rapture when Jesus appears “FOR” His saints (1st Corinthians 15:51-58). Christ came 2,000 years ago “TO” His own; He is coming at the Pretribulation Rapture “FOR” His own; and He will return to the earth at His Second Coming “WITH” His own.

I have heard numerous naïve churchgoers say that there's no way of really knowing the timing of when the earth was created. That is simply not true! If you take the inspired Holy Bible at face value, you can only conclude an Old Earth Creation view. Psalms 102:25, “Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.” I am tired of hearing the silly Young Earth Creation crowd speak of fire-breathing dragons, baby dinosaurs with stunted growth aboard Noah's ark, et cetera. Since they reject the obvious truth of an old earth, they have to cram 10 pounds of rice into a 5 pound bag, and they look stupid.
I mean, seriously, if you really think that dinosaurs lived with humans 5,000 years ago, when nothing in the history books which records dinosaurs, you are woefully deceived friend. Genesis 2:19 tells us that God gave Adam that knowledge to name every living creature. Adams didn't grow up, he was created fully grown. Adam never went to school for a day in his life, God gave him instant knowledge. Adam named every living creature! But it was Dr. Richard Owen in 1841 who named the dinosaurs. The reason why Adam didn't name them is obvious, simply because there were no dinosaurs in the Garden of Eden. Dinosaurs lived 60 to 220 million years ago, just as legitimate science teaches.
We know that the human race is about 6,000 years old, and God remodeled the earth during the 6-days of creation, but the foundation of the earth itself is likely billions of years old. Psalms 102:25, “Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.” The psalmist, David, penned this Scripture approximately 1,000 BC. David specifically distinguishes the age of the earth.
Having said all that, I cannot warn you enough to stay away from Ken Ham and his Answers-In-Genesis (AIG) poison! To the man with a hammer in his hand, everything starts looking like a nail sticking up. To the Zionist, everything is about Israel and the Jewish people. And to the devout follower of a young earth hoax, everything in the Bible ends up becoming filtered through a lens of YEC. This is one of the great dangers of Bible study seminars which are sold by AIG. Ken Ham has a disgusting personal net worth of $54,000,000. Ken Ham is a charlatan, a clever religious con man, and not a genuine man of God.
Tragically, foolish institutions like Pensacola Christian College (PCC) wickedly promote and teach Mr. Ham's toxic materials to their thousands of impressionable students, corrupting the next generation. Ken Ham is so corrupt that he even falsely accuses old earth advocates such as myself of perverting the Gospel. In reality, it is Ken Ham who has woefully perverted the Gospel. God's judgment is upon PCC and any church that wickedly bids Godspeed to Ken Ham and Answers-In-Genesis. That's not to say that everything is wrong at AIG.
In fact, there is a lot of true and helpful information available at AIG. Unfortunately, 99% of the people who visit his website ministry are unlearned and ignorant of the Holy Scriptures, which makes them vulnerable to deception and adopting a counterfeit plan of salvation. Ken Ham is NOT saved! No one is a born again believer who teaches that to get to Heaven, you must forsake your wicked ways and surrender your life to follow Christ (those are works).
YEC is toxic! Dinosaurs DIDN'T roam the earth 5,000 or 6,000 years ago, they lived long before humanity was even created by God. As I mentioned earlier, Pastor Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) taught a helpful Bible study series in 1974, when he was pastor of Forest Hills Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia. The 6-part series was titled: “DEMONOLOGY.” In this intriguing Bible study series, Dr. Hutson explains an Old Earth Creation from the Holy Bible. You will be sitting on the edge of your seat, I assure you friend.
If you have believed in a YEC for some time, I guarantee that it is only because you've never had anybody take the time to explain the OEC to you from the Bible. This latter view is often erroneously called, “The Gap Theory”; but it is not a mere “theory,” it is a fact. Therefore, we should properly call it, “The Gap Principle.” This is simply the truth that between Genesus 1:1 and 1:2, there was a pre-Adamic world in which lucifer, some of the angels, dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures existed.
To clarify, let me say:
- I do not believe in evolution in any war, fashion or form.
