Most “Gospel Tracts” Don't Even Contain The Gospel

Galatians 1:6-8, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

Something that has really bothered me for decades now, are the thousands of poorly written religious tracts that believers rely upon to share the Gospel with people. Sadly, 99% of those tracts DO NOT contain the actual Gospel.

I was reading The Strand Study Bible which I bought recently. I love it! However, I am disappointed with some of the things that Pastor Strand says and promotes. For example: On page 1967 (the year I was born...lol), Strand shares some contents of a religious tract published by the EvanTell tract company titled, "What Are You Depending On?" Here it is, which you can read...

What Are You Depending On?

As you can see for yourself, there is NO GOSPEL. Trusting in Jesus alone is not enough to be saved, unless you understand the facts that Christ died on a cross for YOUR sins, was buried and three days later He miraculously resurrected from the dead. This is "the gospel" as defined by 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. You must first have the FACTS, before you can put your FAITH in those facts to be saved. Dr. Hyles explains this important Bible truth.

Pastor Max Younce wrote a helpful article to refute Dr. Bob Wilkin's heresy that you can be saved by trusting Jesus without the Gospel.

On their "About" page at EvanTell ministries, they state:

"EvanTell empowers Christians worldwide to share their faith through training, outreaches, tools, and ʀᴇꜱᴏᴜʀᴄᴇꜱ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ᴘʀᴇꜱᴇɴᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ɢᴏꜱᴘᴇʟ ɪɴ ᴀ ᴄʟᴇᴀʀ, ʙɪʙʟɪᴄᴀʟʟʏ ᴀᴄᴄᴜʀᴀᴛᴇ, and encouraging way." 

Really? How accurate is the tract in question? It does not contain Jesus' death, burial or resurrection!!! So, in fact, it is not clear or biblically accurate. Our churches are in trouble folks! We've got a bunch of unlearned and ignorant pastors, missionaries, evangelists and Bible professors today, who are arrogant dummies!

Jesus' Work Of Redemption Was Not Finished On The Cross

On page 1967 Pastor Strand says: "On the cross He said, 'It is finished' (John 19:30). He did not make a downpayment for your sins; He made full payment." This is not true! Sadly, 90% of preachers misinterpret the Bible when Jesus said, 'It is finished.' To accurately interpret the Scripture, we should always make a habit of including the verses before and after any particular text, lest we lift that 𝓉𝑒𝓍𝓉 out of 𝒸𝑜𝓃𝓉𝑒𝓍𝓉 and create a new 𝓅𝓇𝑒𝓉𝑒𝓍𝓉.

John 19:28-30, “After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”

The Bible says when Jesus saw that all the Messianic prophesies concerning Him had been fulfilled, He said “I thirst” which was the last prophesy to be fulfilled (this one from Psalms 69:21). Upon making that last statement, only then did Jesus say, “It is finished.” So you see, redemption couldn't have been finished, for Jesus hadn't even died yet, let alone being buried and resurrected three days later. This is “the gospel” after all according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4.

Jesus Made Full Payment At The Mercy Seat In Heaven, Not On The Cross

Also, full payment wasn't made upon the cross for our sins, it was made at the Mercy Seat in Heaven, when Jesus sprinkled His literal liquid blood upon the Mercy Seat in the Holy Place in the presence of God the Father (Hebrews 9:12, 22-24; 12:24). Christ did this once to pay for the sins of all mankind (Hebrews 9:28). Christ made full-payment at the Mercy Seat in Heaven. That was the place (Hebrews 9:12). The price was Jesus' precious blood (1st Peter 1:18-19).

I love and appreciate Brother Strand and his work. I must admit that I am surprised he missed this truth in his study Bible. Redemption was not finished on the cross, which is what infidel Dr. John MacArthur teaches—that we are saved by the pouring out of Jesus' blood on the cross, by His death, and not by Jesus sprinkling His actual liquid blood upon the heavenly Mercy Seat. Pastor MacArthur is very WRONG!!! Just as the Old Testament high priest was required by God to sprinkle the blood of the slain lamb upon the mercy seat (Exodus 29:16), so also did Jesus need to sprinkled His shed blood upon the heavenly Mercy Seat.

The Passover in Egypt was when the death angel passed upon the land of Egypt, killing all the firstborn (which was God's tenth and final plague upon the land through the rod of Moses). There was only one way of deliverance for the Hebrews, which was to take the blood of a slain lamb and paint it upon the door posts and lintel (the board above the door that kept bricks from falling on your head). Exodus 12:13, “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.” The death angel was not looking for the dead lamb in the backyard. The death angel was looking for the blood applied! If Jesus' blood had soaked into the ground at Calvary as John MacArthur foolishly claims, then no one could ever be saved. Jesus' blood had to be applied to the Mercy Seat in Heaven, in the Holy of Holies in the Holy Place in the Tabernacle.

We know everything that happened during the Old Testament tabernacle, holy of holies and work of the high priest was a SHADOW of good things to come in Heaven. That is, they were a prototype of the real ones in Heaven (Hebrews 10:1). Jesus is our eternal High Priest (Hebrews 4:14-16; Romans 8:34). Jesus died as our sacrificial lamb, but He raised up as our heavenly High Priest. If Christ Be Not Risen, Then We Have A Sacrifice But No High Priest Or Salvation (by Pastor Jack Hyles).

Dear reader, I challenge you to start paying closer attention to the religious tracts that you find, receive, distribute and read, to make sure that they are doctrinally sound. Tragically, nearly all Gospel tracts are completely missing of the Gospel. I read many tracts that don't mention Jesus resurrection from the dead. Other tracts don't mention that you must admit being a guilty sinner before you can be saved and go to Heaven. You need to know what you are being saved from, the wages of sin, which is death. That includes the second death in hell, fire and brimstone for all eternity, without hope or rest, tormented day and night (Revelation 21:8).

Romans 1:16 is very clear that the gospel, nothing else, is the POWER of God unto salvation, to them who BELIEVE IT. Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” The unfortunate popular embellishment of the Gospel nowadays to “turn from your sinful ways” is not only NOT a part of the Gospel, it is a perversion of God's grace. Nowhere in the inspired Holy Scriptures are we taught to give up our desire to sin, forsake the world, leave the old sinful life, or to commit to reform our behavior to be saved.

What Was “Finished” On The Cross Of Calvary

John 19:28-30, “After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”

Many Bible students and preachers get this passage wrong. In fact, redemption wasn't finished on the cross. Jesus hadn't even died yet, been buried or risen from the dead. So, the Gospel wasn't completed yet. We must read the previous verses to understand the context of why Jesus said, "It is finished." ...

Jesus' words "I thirst" in John 19:28 is a fulfilled prophesy from Psalms 69:21, "They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink." Jesus meticulously made sure to fulfill all of the Messianic prophecies concerning Himself, that the Scriptures would be fulfilled.

In saying the words, "I thirst," all of the prophecies concerning Christ had been fulfilled, which is why He then said: "It is finished." This proper interpretation is plain to see if we include verses 26 and 27 with verse 28. When Jesus uttered the words "It is finished," it had nothing to do with the Gospel.

Beware Of Damnable False Prophet T.D. Jakes

Our text Scripture passage pronounces God's CURSE upon anyone, whether it be man or demon, who preaches another Gospel. First, let's learn what “the gospel” is from the inspired Word of God, shall we? ...

1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

Now take a look at the tommyrot, balderdash, poppycock, dangerous, garbage that Bishop T.J. Jakes is preaching. I hope you are sitting down for this. ...

Receiving the gift of salvation is so simple. All you have to do is invite Jesus Christ into your life to be your Lord and Savior. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith; and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; not by works, so that no one can boast.” Now that you know it is a free gift, the only other thing you need to know is how to receive this gift. Once again, it is not hard. Romans 10:9-10 says, “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” In other words, all you have to do is pray from your heart this simple prayer.

Lord Jesus, I ask you to come into my life, to be my Lord and Savior. I believe You died for my sins and rose victorious over death. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. I turn from my sin today, only to follow Jesus Christ all the days of my life. Lord, I give you all of my pain, all of my hurts, all of my fears, and all of my infirmities. Today, I receive total and complete healing in my life. Because of the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, from this day forward, I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. Thank you Lord!

Whoa Nellie! Slow down there a minute horse! Let's break down T.D. Jakes' counterfeit plan of salvation. Pastor Jakes teaches to be saved, you must:

1. Invite Christ into your life. I didn't see this requirement in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4, which defines “the gospel,” did you? No, you didn't either. In fact, you cannot show me any such requirement to be saved anywhere in the Holy Bible. Did not Judas invite Christ into his life? Yes, Judas was one of Jesus' very apostles, but went to Hell in his sin of unbelief forever. So sad.
2. Make Jesus the your Lord of your life. Again, you cannot show me this requirement to get to Heaven in the Bible. It is not found in Paul's definition of “the gospel” in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. The Gospel is that Jesus died on a cross to pay for your sins and mine. And that He was buried. And finally, that Jesus bodily resurrected from the dead three days later. If you as an admitted guilty sinner accept these three facts as your own, personally putting your confidence in Christ alone and His redemptive work, then you are saved friend.
3. Turn from your sins. Not one verse in the inspired King James Bible teaches to repent “of your sins” or to “turn from your sin” to be saved. You'd have to use the Devil's modern corrupt Bibles to find such damnable lies. You'd be surprised if you knew how many pastors and pastor's wives despise me today, because I rebuke bad pastors who falsely preach that you cannot be saved and continue living in sin. They think I am arrogant, but they are the ones who are arrogant and sinfully proud, following the lies of men instead of the inspired Word of almighty God. In the Bible God repented more than anyone (e.g., Exodus 32:14), but we know that God cannot sin (James 1:13). So, this proves that “repentance” does NOT mean to turn from your sins. T.D. Jakes and all pastors who tell people to turn from their sins to be saved are misleading people.
   
   If you unwisely use that phrase “turn from sin” when sharing the Gospel with someone, then you had better explain what you mean. If you mean that you must acknowledge being a dirty, guilty, rotten, sinner to be saved then I agree. But if you mean that a person must forsake a lifestyle of sin, then I totally disagree because that is works. You need to know what you are being saved from, which is from the penalty of sin (Romans 6:23; Revelation 21:8). We all deserve to go straight to Hell and burn forever, but God has made a way of escape through the precious blood of Jesus (Romans 5:9).
4. Follow Jesus Christ all the days of your life. This is blasphemy against the Word of God! Judas became a follower of Christ, but John 6:70 says he had a devil in him. Jesus said that it would have been better for Judas if he had never been born, because he went to burn in Hell forever. That is tragic. Judas could have been saved, but he did not trust Jesus as his Savior. Judas sincerely did not think Jesus is the Christ. How about you dear reader? John 20:31 tells us that the purpose for which God authored the Gospel of John is to convince us that Jesus is the Christ, the only begotten Son of God, so that by believing we will be saved. The Gospel of John is God's Gospel tract. Yet, none of the extra four things that T.D. Jakes requires to be saved are taught in the book of John.
5. Pastor Jakes is quoting a corrupt version of Romans 10:9. The inspired King James Bible teaches to confess “the Lord Jesus Christ,” not “Jesus is Lord.” There is a big difference between the two statements. The former teaches that we confess our heart's faith with our mouth, but the latter requires you to make Jesus the Lord of your life to be saved, which is another gospel. All modern Bible revisions are corrupt!

Dear reader, you must decide who to believe. Will you believe T.D. Jakes whose plan of salvation does not match the one taught in the Holy Bible? Or will you believe the inspired Words of God in the Scriptures, which tell us that the only way to be saved is by FAITH ALONE without works. Following Christ all the days of your life is works. Turning from your sin is works. If you want Scriptural proof, take a look at Jonah 3:10, “And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.” Do you see dear friend? Turning from your evil way is WORKS!!! You just read it for yourself. What saith the Scripture about works? Romans 3:20, “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”

We've got a bunch of unlearned, ignorant, ignoramuses for pastors today. I am not happy about that. Just today I heard a preacher tell a church congregation that to get to Heaven you must commit and give your life to Christ. Where does the Bible teach that trash? I triple-dog dare you to show me!!! You cannot show me one Bible verse that mandates for a lost sinner to give their life to Jesus to get to Heaven, or to commit their life to Him. What does that even mean? It is sloppy and damnable preaching, that's what it is!

But when you tell a lost sinner that Jesus is the Messiah (the anointed one, Christ), who died on a cross to pay for their sins, and that He was buried, but then after three days He miraculously physically resurrected from the dead, that makes perfect sense. And then you invite the audience to decide right there and then, to by faith receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full payment for their sins, believing that He was buried and raised up the third day. That is how you get saved. That is the only way you can be saved, by faith in the Gospel. Romans 1:16-17, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” 

If you are a pastor, or your pastor foolishly embellishes God's simple plan of salvation, please don't get upset with me for caring enough to tell you the plain truth. I am not the problem, you or your pastor is! Take a look at the demonic garbage being taught at Pensacola Christian College (PCC) today. Folks, this is NOT the Gospel which the Apostle Paul taught in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. PCC have been corrupted by the hellbound Calvinist cult at Bob Jones University (BJU). Birds of a feather stick together. PCC has wickedly bid Godspeed to the BJU cult for so long, that now PCC have joined ranks with them, adopting their counterfeit plan of salvation. Somebody needs to contend for the faith, and by God's grace I am humbly doing it (Jude 1:3; Titus 1:13-14; Ephesians 5:11; Galatians 6:7; Matthew 12:36; Proverbs 30:5-6; Deuteronomy 4:2).

Beware Of The Satanic Jehovah's Witness Cult

John 1:1-3, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

Now look at the corrupt Bible used by the Jehovah's Witnesses (JW) cult...

NEW WORLD TRANSLATION (NWT) - John 1:1-3, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god. This one was in the beginning with God. All things came into existence through him, and apart from him not even one thing came into existence.”

Jehovah's Witnesses (JW) falsely claim that Jesus is “a god,” but not almighty God. JW founder, Charles Taze Russell (1852-1916), was sued in Canada for perverting the Word of God in John 1:1. Charles added the article “a” before God in John 1:1, to attack Jesus' deity. That was blatant irresponsible Bible translation. It was fraud. If you look inside Russell's New World Translation (NWT) today, you will find the fraudulent article “a” inserted before the word God, thus corrupting God's inspired Word. Woe be unto Charles Russell (Proverbs 30:5-6; Revelation 22:19). Mr. Russell by adding something that doesn't belong, removed Jesus' deity from the Holy Bible.

Isaiah 9:6b calls Jesus “The everlasting Father.” Jesus told the Jews that when they saw Him, they also saw the Father. John 14:9, “Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?” 1st Timothy 3:16b says, “God was manifest in the flesh...” Every modern Devil's Bible revision corrupts this passage of Scripture, removing the word “God” to discredit Jesus as almighty God. That is, they attack Jesus' deity. Jesus is the Father in the sense that they are both God, but Jesus and the Father are two distinctly different persons in the Trinity (Godhead). They posses different unique physical bodies, sitting upon separate thrones in Heaven (Colossians 3:1).

Also, please notice that the JW's pervert the Scripture, by changing John 1:3 to say that all things were made “through” Jesus instead of “by” Him. All of the new Bible revisions attack Jesus' deity by robbing Him of due credit as Creator of the universe.

Just like the ungodly butchers today who change the Holy Bible to obtain a legal copyright from the U.S. government's copyright department (so they can sell their new work), so also did Charles Russell change the Word of God to satisfy his denial of Jesus' deity. It should not come as a big surprise that the fathers of all modern-day corrupt Bible revisions, Brooke Westcott and Fenton Hort, also denied Jesus' deity. Pastor Max D. Beware Of The Corrupt John Nelson Darby (JND) Bible Version

Deuteronomy 4:2, “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.”

Dear reader, I am not overexaggerating to say that ALL modern Bible versions are corrupt. I could pick any of the hundreds of Bible revisions still available on the market, and show you corruptions galore in every one of them. Today we will be examining the John Nelson Darby version...

JND - Matthew 8:2, “And behold, a leper came up to him and did him homage, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou art able to cleanse me.”

KJV - Matthew 8:2, “And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.”

The word “homage” means “respectful defence, that is, an expression of courtesy.” The word “worshipped” is entirely different, which is self-explanatory. Every modern Bible revision removes the word “worshipped” and replaced it with “bowed,” “knelt” or as we just saw, “homage.” None of these words come even close to the majestic word, “worshipped.” The leper worshipped Jesus in Matthew 8:2, he didn't merely show Him homage. You can bow before a king to show homage, or kneel to propose to your girlfriend, but to worship Jesus as God is something entirely different. The new Bible revisions are of the Devil.

Here is a serious corruption in the John Nelson Darby (JND) version...

JND - Romans 1:20, “for from the world's creation the invisible things of him are perceived, being apprehended by the mind through the things that are made, both his eternal power and divinity,—so as to render them inexcusable.”

KJV - Romans 1:20, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”

The word “divinity” is very different in conveyed meaning than the word “Godhead.” They have effectively removed the Trinity from this passage, which is wicked. They are attacking the truth of the triune nature and existence of God.

Here is another corruption in the JND perversion...

JND - Romans 10:9, “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from among the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

KJV - Romans 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

To confess “the Lord Jesus” is something quite different than to confess “Jesus as Lord.” You do not have to confess Jesus as the Lord of your life to get to Heaven. This is the damnable heresy of Lordship Salvation, which heresy is unfortunately taught in nearly every neo-evangelical church cults today. Where do you think such pastors get that damnable doctrine from? They get it from counterfeit Bible versions like the John Nelson Darby Bible (JND).

What's that, you want more? Okay, you got it! ...

JND - 1st John 5:7, “For they that bear witness are three:”

KJV - 1st John 5:7, “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”

Here you can clearly see where they again removed the Trinity, that is, the Godhead. The Devil's modern Bible revisions all make a brutal assault on the Godhead, Jesus' deity and the blood of Christ.

JND - John 1:3, “All things received being through him, and without him not one thing received being which has received being.”

KJV - John 1:3, “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

If you examine the modern Bible perversions, regarding Jesus creating all things, you will find that they have ALL replaced the preposition “by” with “through.” That is, the modern revisions claim that all things were created THROUGH Jesus instead of BY Jesus. This is an attack on Jesus' deity, denying Him as God our Creator.

Also, as you just read for yourself, there is a drastic difference between saying “all things were made by Him,” versus saying that “All things received being through him.” Quite frankly, the John Nelson Darby (JND) version doesn't even make any sense. What does it even mean that “all things received being through Him.” It's not even proper grammar! Whereas the King James Bible makes plain sense, the John Nelson Darby version is confusing. This is another example of how messed up the Devil's Bible revisions are.

Hey, take a look at this travesty in the JND version...

JND - Acts 8:37, “(Verse 37 is omitted in this translation.)”

What saith the Scripture? Deuteronomy 4:2, “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.” John Darby has blood on his hands for perverting the Words of the Living God (Jeremiah 23:36). Darby's original New Testament Bible was published in 1867, then revised in 1872 and 1884. After Darby's death in 1882 his students finished the Darby version Old Testament in 1890.

A British author and newspaper editor named James Grant (1802-1879) wrote this:

“With the deadly heresies entertained and taught by the Plymouth Brethren, in relation to some of the most momentous of all the doctrines of the Gospel, and to which I have adverted at some length, I feel assured that my readers will not be surprised at any other views, however unscriptural and pernicious they may be, which the Darbyites have embraced and zealously seek to propagate.”

John Darby is considered by most theologians to be the father of modern-day Dispensationalism (a false doctrine). I don't like dispensational teaching, simply because the Bible does not teach it. Pastor Harry Ironside (1876-1951) said that dispensational teaching is an overlay to the Scriptures, to help the student. Dr. Ironside said it is not Bible doctrine, it is just an overlay. Albeit, I humbly disagree. I think it is doctrine, because it affects the student's mindset and attitude toward the Bible. In the worst case of ultra-dispensational teaching, it indoctrinates a student with the heresy of Zionism, compelling the student to idolize manmade Israel instead of emphasizing preaching the Gospel as the Bible intended.

Likewise, I avoid theology, which has led many believers into a graveyard of deeper-life debates, ramblings and discussions that always lead nowhere. I'd rather take the truth of God's inspired Word to rescue lost sinners from the fires of Hell, feed Jesus' sheep with simple Bible truths, reach families and build men's lives for God; rather than try to impress others with hermeneutics, eschatology, soteriology and other worthless -isms and -ologies. I like the acronym “K.I.S.S.” (Keep It Simple Stupid). I have no desire to become a deeper-life theologian. I have no desire to expound an audience with things that God didn't put into the Bible. The most profound truths are implicitly simple.

The following disturbing information appeared in the 2022 Winter issue of Fulfilled! magazine:

Why is this story important for the preterist community and Fulfilled! Magazine readers? Because regarding the nation of Israel, Zionism is the polar opposite of what we understand about fulfilled prophecy. This Zionist view has derailed, stunted, perverted, and impeded the spread of the “fulfilled gospel” and hindered the Church in its mission. Zionism teaches a future coming of Christ and an earthly kingdom. Here is a perfect example why Zionism should be defeated: In September 2022, Pastor Michael Miano (Blue Point Bible Church, Blue Point, NY) and his family took a Sunday off to visit a local Church in an act of unity in the community. As Pastor Miano and his wife were enjoying the sermon, he received a tap on the shoulder from one of the Church’s leaders. They asked Michael and his family to leave as he is guilty of teaching the “false doctrine” of preterism.

This is what Rothschild, Scofield, Dallas Theological Seminary, Pat Robertson, John Hagee, Tim LaHaye, Billy Graham, and countless others have created; a perverted religion where ignorant segments of the body can’t discern Scripture. Zionism is an ‘antichrist’ spirit. Had Rothschild never engaged the services of Scofield, the Church might have continued on its path of understanding the complete work of Yeshua. We have a huge task in front of us, but don’t you feel the tide turning? I’m sensing it in the social media comments and posts by preterists. Even non-believers are coming to an understanding of how corrupt and wicked the Rothschild family was/is, and how ‘un-Jewish’ Jews truly are. So, hang in there, keep studying history. Dig. Research. Pray. God has lifted the blinders and we need to share all we can. Especially about the loving, forgiving kindness of the Father. Yes, He can and has gotten ‘mighty riled up’ with kinfolk in the past and has every right to do so in the future. But we are His kids, and He loves us, even when He disciplines us!

Darby Plants the Seeds

Before examining Scofield’s life, we need to understand John Nelson Darby, the principle figure from whom Scofield borrowed his biblical analysis. Darby was a Satanist, Freemason, and agent of the Rothschild-owned British East India Company. Darby’s family owned Leap Castle, renowned as the most sinister and occultic castle in Ireland’s history. Darby became a leader of a Christian sect called the Plymouth Brethren. He is generally credited with originating the “Secret Rapture” doctrine and made several trips to America to spread his “vaccine” of heresies.

Darby used many terms in common with occult Theosophists: he referred to Jesus as “the coming one” (the term New Agers use for the Antichrist); referred to God as the “architect” (same phrase employed by Freemasons, meaning “God” for the uninitiated, but “Lucifer” to true initiates); and many other occult phrases. Darby even penned his own satanic version of the Bible. The Illuminati always knew they could not perform a wholesale transformation of the Bible, because it would be recognized and rejected. Therefore, the approach through the centuries has been to whittle it away: a word here, a phrase there—the universal strategy of boiling the frog.

Darby slyly introduced satanic wording into the biblical text. For example, in the King James rendering of John 6:69, Peter told Jesus: “And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.” Darby rendered this: “And we have believed and known that thou art the holy one of God.” In the King James, “Holy one of God” is a title for Jesus used only by demons.

Scofield Spreads Darby Like a Virus

In 1897, Theodore Herzl began hosting the Rothschild-backed Zionist congresses in Switzerland, developing the plan for a Zionist takeover of Palestine. On August 29, 1897, Herzl predicted that within fifty years there would be a Jewish state. And that would have been . . . 1947. Coincidence? Knowing this scheme would require Christian approval, Herzl approached Pope Pius X in 1904, who very politely told him where he could stick his plan. After being rejected by the Catholics, the Rothschilds knew Protestant support would be essential. But this could only be achieved by tampering with the Bible to make it appear God himself had ordained Jews to retake Palestine. Such a Bible needed to come from a non-Jew, someone with credentials as a theologian. And thus emerged Cyrus Scofield and his reference Bible.

Scofield started out as a crooked Kansas lawyer and politician. In 1881, the Atchison Globe reported: “C. I. Schofield [sic], who was appointed United States District Attorney for Kansas in 1873, and who turned out worse than any other Kansas official, is now a Campbellite preacher in Missouri. His wife and two children live in Atchison. He contributes nothing to their support except good advice.”

That same year, the Topeka Daily Capital published this:

“Cyrus I. Schofield [sic], formerly of Kansas, late lawyer, politician and shyster generally, has come to the surface again, and promises once more to gather around himself that halo of notoriety that has made him so prominent in the past. The last personal knowledge that Kansans have had of this peer among scalawags, was when about four years ago, after a series of forgeries and confidence games, he left the state and a destitute family and took refuge in Canada. For a time he kept undercover, nothing being heard of him until within the past two years when he turned up in St. Louis, where he had a wealthy widowed sister living who has generally come to the front and squared up Cyrus’ little follies and foibles by paying good round sums of money. Within the past year, however, Cyrus committed a series of St. Louis forgeries that could not be settled so easily, and the erratic young gentleman was compelled to linger in the St. Louis jail for a period of six months.”

However, court cases against Scofield were inexplicably dropped. As Joseph M. Canfield, who is probably Scofield’s most thorough biographer, noted: “The very sudden dropping of the criminal charges without proper adjudication suggests that Scofield’s career was in the hands of someone who had clout . . .”

Scofield immersed himself in Darby’s teachings and made rapid ecclesiastical progress: by 1881 he was already pastoring in St. Louis, despite having no seminary training or religious education.

In 1882, Scofield moved to Dallas and began an extended term as pastor of the First Congregational Church. Possibly this move was necessitated because his criminal past and familial irresponsibility were too well known in the Kansas-Missouri region. As Rev. John S. Torell wrote:

“There were a number of wealthy and political power brokers in the membership of the First Congregational Church in Dallas . . . I do know that most churches in the United States are heavily infested with Freemasons. George Bannerman Dealey was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in the later part of his life. But he was also heavily involved in the occult, majoring in the Scottish Rite of Masonry with a 33rd degree and active as a Shriner, and was also a member of the Red Cross of Constantine. Most likely he had a hand in getting Cyrus into Masonic circles and particularly the Lotos Club in New York.”

Meanwhile, back in Kansas . . . in 1883, Scofield’s wife Leontine, and her children, were granted a divorce on the grounds of abandonment. Within six months of the divorce, Scofield married a new wife, Hettie.

The apostle Paul wrote to Timothy, “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel” (1st Timothy 5:8). Scofield’s fans gave him a free pass on this teaching and, big surprise, the Scofield Reference Bible makes no commentary on this verse.

Although Scofield became quite wealthy from his reference Bible, there is no evidence that he ever shared his riches with his abandoned family, or ever made restitution to the people whom he had defrauded in Kansas and Missouri.

By 1892 Cyrus began using the title “Dr. Scofield.” However, there is no evidence Scofield ever received a doctorate. He never attended a college or seminary. Again, this deceit was performed to erase any “red flags” from those doubting his new version of the Scriptures.

Regarding the preceding article, I personally believe in a Pretribulation Rapture, based on 1st Corinthians 15:51-58 and 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18. There is ample historic evidence from several centuries ago that the early church fathers believed in a Rapture, which contradicts the claim that John Darby invented the concept in 1830 AD. Right Doctrine Can Only Come From Using The Right Bible

2nd Corinthians 2:17, “For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.”

Proverbs 30:5-6, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”

I am astonished at the willful ignorance of so many foolish pastors today, who are not only tolerant of the Devil's modern Bible perversions, but they also use them in their churches. See for yourself how Satan has crept his corrupt Bible revisions into the churches...

And here are some serious corruptions in the John Nelson Darby Bible (JND). ...

JND - Romans 1:20, “for from the world's creation the invisible things of him are perceived, being apprehended by the mind through the things that are made, both his eternal power and divinity,—so as to render them inexcusable.” 

KJV - Romans 1:20, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”

The word “divinity” is very different in conveyed meaning than the word “Godhead.” They have effectively removed the Trinity from this passage, which is wicked. They are attacking the truth of the triune nature and existence of God.

A Strange Teaching By Pastor Brad Strand

Hebrews 13:9, “Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.”

I love preachers! I was looking online today and found a video on YouTube by Pastor Brad Strand. I was delighted to have found a video with his personal salvation testimony. Please understand that I am not questioning Pastor Strand's salvation in this video. He nailed the Gospel exactly right, for which I commend him. Albeit, RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS and I humbly think he gets something wrong in his presentation.

Respectfully, I am a bit surprised by the following video. I don't find any teaching in the inspired Holy Bible that says the payment Jesus made was to give up His Spirit form and be stuck in a physical body forever. That is strange doctrine. Pastor Brad Shares His Testimony

Nowhere does the inspired King James Bible say that the payment Jesus made was to give up His Spirit form, and be stuck in a resurrected physical body forever. The Bible does plainly teach in 1st Peter 1:18-19, Acts 20:28, Romans 5:9, Revelation 1:5, 1st John 1:7, Hebrews 9:12 and Revelation 5:9 that JESUS' BLOOD was the price that He paid for our sins. 

In his testimony, Pastor Brad Strand quotes the gentleman who led him to the Lord 47 years earlier, Frank Owens, as teaching him the following toxic theological garbage. Dear reader, this is NOT biblical. ...

Jesus said: “It is finished, I am offering the entire universe certain aspects of my eternal authority. I will never go back to being Spirit form again. I will be confined to a resurrected body to all eternity future... that is the eternal payment. I will never go back to being Spirit form with the other two [God the Father and God the Holy Spirit], for all eternity past; I will never go back to being Spirit form again.” —Pastor Brad Strand, YouTube: “Pastor Brad Shares His Testimony” (time: 19:19 in video)

And the place where Jesus made that payment was to sprinkle His literal liquid blood upon the heavenly MERCY SEAT according to Hebrews 9;12, 22-24; 12;24. The only thing that was "finished" on the cross, when Jesus uttered the words "it is finished," were all the Messianic prophesies concerning Him (i.e., they had all been fulfilled). It was finished after Christ said, "I thirst." Redemption could not have been finished, because Jesus had not yet, died, been buried or resurrected (which is the Gospel, as the preceding video correctly teaches).

Something else to consider is that God doesn't exist in Heaven in a Spirit form. Colossians 3:1, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.” Psalms 47:8, “God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.” Psalms 103:19, “The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.” Now, to sit down you need something concrete to sit upon (the opposite of something abstract).

Furthermore, God physically appeared to Moses in the Old Testament. ...

Exodus 33:17-33, “And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.  And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.”

That is an amazing story in the Bible. No man can see God and live. I do not know why. Perhaps it is because God is so holy that no man can see His face and live. Hebrews 10:31, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” I once heard a preacher say that God's very presence makes us nervous because He is so holy. I do not know if that is true, but I have at times felt nervous for no apparent reason, and I remembered what that pastor said. I have spent my adult life as a child of God seeking His face, enjoying God's blessed Holy Spirit presence while wallowing in His Word. What saith the Scripture? James 4:8, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”

Having said all that, humbly said, I love the video by Pastor Strand. I wanted to share it with everyone I know, but I simply cannot because of the strange idea that Jesus paid for our sins by giving up His Spirit form to be stuck in a physical body forever. Kindly said, that is just weird. Nor does the inspired Scripture agree with such doctrine. I hope that Brother Strand will redo the video, because I would love to promote his testimony. The eternal payment which Christ made was not being stuck in a resurrected human body; but rather, it was the precious blood that He shed on Calvary's cross, and applied in the Father's presence to the Mercy Seat in Heaven's Holy Place (Hebrews 9:12, 22-24; 12:24).

I Highly Recommend: “The Strand's Study Bible”

I am so glad that Pastor Strand didn't tell people to "turn from your sins" or "submit to live for Christ" to get to Heaven, which heresies nearly every Baptist preacher today has succumbed to, preaching another gospel. I appreciate Pastor Strand for his service for our dear Savior. Brother Strand is one of my favorite Bible teachers. I highly recommend that you purchase his amazing: 'The Strand Study Bible' (new from Amazon.com).

Also, eBay has some used ones for a cheaper price. I guarantee you that soon you'll never be able to obtain this invaluable study Bible resource again. The reason why, I humbly think, is simply because Americans don't want the truth anymore; there is not enough interest to justify future publications of this resource. I saw this happen to, “The John R. Rice Reference Bible” (I have 5 of them thankfully), and other masterpieces of literature. GET IT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!

It's not cheap, but it is worth every penny. Brother Strand shows you every place in the New Testament where it quotes from the Old Testament, which is invaluable when studying God's Word. The study book is filled with Bible land photos, maps, commentaries how secular history parallels the Bible, and contains 2,368 pages. I love this guy as a Bible teacher!

Thirty-five years ago, in a classroom at HAC, I learned from Brother Strand about the Seven Kings Of Revelation, which blew my mind. Please don't think that I am critiquing Brother Strand as a Bible teacher, I am not; I simply disagree with his teaching brought to your attention in this blog. I learned long ago from Pastor Max D. Younce (1935-2023) that contending for the faith is one of the great joys of the Christian life. It sure is!

Pastor Strand was one of my favorite Bible teachers at Hyles-Anderson College in the late 1980's. I sat on the edge of my seat as a teenager, as he taught us. I got saved at age 13, but did not learn that Jesus is almighty God until age 18, at Hyles-Anderson College when Brother Strand taught me so in class. I had him for Deuteronomy and other interesting classes.

Please understand that my goal in writing blogs like this is never to be unkind, to upset people or shed a negative light on anyone, God knows my heart. My goal is to help teach others the truth (as I believe God has taught me). What saith the Scripture? ...

1st Corinthians 11:19, “For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.”

I love this Bible verse, because it tells us that we need false doctrines and false teachers, so that those who are learned in the Scripture can refute them and proclaim the truth. God is not a respecter of persons. It matters not if a pastor or Bible professor has been teaching Bible doctrine for 50 years, if he is wrong he is wrong! Pastor John MacArthur is 80 years old, yet still a hellbound infidel, the biggest teacher of the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation today. Hell is coming up to meet Dr. MacArthur (Isaiah 14:9), whose “many wonderful works“” and crying out “Lord, Lord” cannot save him from the judgment to come in the lake of Fire (Matthew 7:21-23).

I love something that Pastor Strand said in his video:

He [Jesus] has to know you. You can know Him, but He has to know you. And the only way He gets to know you, is through you accepting the Gospel. He makes it simple. He makes it plain. And He wants to do that, but not everybody wants to hear the Gospel. Bravo! Does Jesus know you dear friend? That is, does Jesus know you as one of His sheep? If you don't know 100% that if you died right now that you would go to Heaven, simply BELIEVE the Good News (Gospel) that Jesus did it all for you through Calvary's cross. Simply BELIEVE that Jesus DIED in your place on the cross, to pay your debt of sin (and mine). Jesus was BURIED. And then three days later Jesus physically RESURRECTED from the dead for your justification. This is “the gospel,” by which all guilty sinners who BELIEVE IT are saved (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). 1st Thessalonians 4:14, “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” Dear reader, I kindly encourage you to read the helpful book by my ministry friend, Michael P. Having said that, I realize that Pastor Strand is quoting Frank Owens, but Brother Strand is clearly agreeing with his heresy, repeating it to the lady in her late eighties (told by her doctor that she is about to die). To teach that the eternal payment Jesus made was to give up His former Spirit form, to be stuck forever in a resurrected human body, is strange doctrine. The bottom line is that you cannot take the Scripture and show me what Pastor Strand is teaching.

Here is what the Bible DOES teach, it is Jesus precious BLOOD that saves us...

1st Peter 1:18-19, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:”

I admit that what Pastor Brand is teaching is intriguing, and I personally don't think it would hinder a lost sinner from being saved. I humbly think it is harmless. However, it is not biblical. It is a serious thing to embellish the Word of God, adding things that God didn't author. Proverbs 30:5-6, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” If you disagree with this blog I have published, then I triple dog dare you to show me even one Bible verse to support what Pastor Brad Strand is falsely teaching.

As I mentioned, Pastor Strand was one of my favorite Bible teachers at Hyles-Anderson College (HAC) was Pastor Brad Strand. He opened my eyes to study the fascinating secular history that parallels the history recorded in the Holy Bible. It is hard to believe that is has already been 35 years since back then. Wow! As I said earlier, I learned first from Brother Strand that Jesus is almighty God, in a classroom at HAC. Thank you Brother Strand!

The Strand Study Bible

Gratefully, Pastor Strand has authored a 2,368 page Bible Study book. To reiterate, I bought my own for $138 from Amazon, but you can get a used one cheaper on eBay. I highly recommend: "The Strand Study Bible," which uses only the King James Bible. This study Bible shows you every place where the New Testament fulfills a prophesy from the Old Testament, which is invaluable.

I caught a bad cold while in college. I was at home for a few days recovering. During that time, because of the truths that Brother Strand taught me in class about the word "Lord," I was fascinated. I was amazed so much that I took some colored pencils and started in Genesis with a Strong's Concordance, and went all the way through to the book of Revelation. In over 7,000 places were the word "Lord" is mentioned throughout the Bible, I studied its meaning, marking each word with a colored pen to learn the context of its use. Brother Strand didn't just teach us the Bible, he inspired us to study on our own, and I did. I love this guy!

Having said that, I am not saying that I agree with everything that Pastor Strand teaches, but his approach to studying the Bible is brilliant. He preaches a simple free grace Gospel. Jesus is precious! Again, my only intent is to refute unbiblical teaching, not to upset people or be unkind. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

New IFB Cult Redefines Faith

Wow, Pastor Jonathan Shelley is getting weird. He is espousing strange doctrine, as are other New IFB pastors. This is tragic. In a foolish attempt to prove that you have to "ask" to be saved, I heard Pastor Steven Anderson cite 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟰:𝟭𝟬, "𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗜𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗲, 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸; 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗶𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿."

Ironically, if you read the rest of John chapter 4, not once did anyone ever ask Jesus to save them, the Bible says they simply "believed." These Scripture passages refute the false claim by the New IFB that a sinner cannot be saved unless they "ask" or "call" on the name of Jesus to be saved. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do. We need to expose this heresy!

I love something that Dr. Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) said: "A good rule to follow when interpreting the Bible is to never use an obscure passage to contradict a clear one." Sadly, New IFB pastors are selectively reading the Holy Bible. They are basing a false doctrine on a tiny handful of Bible verses, while totally ignoring the whole Gospel of John. In John we find the word "believe" mentioned 85 times. But not once do we find anyone "asking" Jesus to save them in the Gospel of John.

In the preceding heretical video by Jonathan Shelley, he says that no one in the Bible ever got saved without asking. That is a FALSE claim! As we just saw in John 4:39 and 41-42, the Samaritans did NOT call or ask, they simply believed on Jesus.

When I attended Hyles-Anderson College for 8 years between 1985 and 1993 when I gratefully graduated, I never led anybody to Christ without leading them to pray, because that is how I was taught by Dr. Hyles. There is nothing wrong with that per se, because we were taught to make sure that the person knows it is faith and not praying that saves you. You can hear Pastor Jack Hyles teach this truth for yourself in this helpful applicable sermon titled:

If you listen to the preceding beautiful sermon, you will hear Dr. Hyles about 15-16 minutes into the sermon plainly refute the heresy that you must "pray" to be saved.

Having said that, because of my own battle with the assurance of my salvation for several years, I no longer lead lost people to pray a sinner's prayer. Praying is NOT the Bible method to be saved. We are saved simply by BELIEVING. In Acts 2:41 when the Apostle Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost, nobody asked to be saved. Acts 2:41 simply says that 3,000 of the thousands of Jews present, "gladly received" his word and were saved. They just believed.

Likewise, in Acts chapter 10 we read about Cornelius, an Italian centurion over 100 soldiers. Cornelius was a good man who prayed, gave alms, fasted and prayed, but he was not saved. So God arranged for a meeting between the Apostle Peter and Cornelius, so that he could hear the Gospel. In Acts 10:43-44 we read that as Peter preached the Gospel, they were filled with the indwelling Holy Spirit. That is, they beloved what they heard and were saved.

In Galatians 3:2 the Apostle Paul asked the Galatian churches if they were indwelt with the Spirit (saved) by keeping the works of the law, or BY THE HEARING OF FAITH. That is how you get saved—you simply BELIEVE in the "Good News" when you hear it preached. Calling, praying or asking to be saved is NOT necessary.

Albeit, I humbly don't think "asking" Jesus to save you hinders a lost sinner from being saved. I asked Jesus to save me when I was 13 years old, but I did it in ignorance. It is a natural response to call upon the name of the Lord from a believing heart. There is NOTHING wrong with asking, calling or praying in response to one's heart's faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But there is something VERY WRONG with saying that a sinner cannot be saved unless they call, ask or pray, when the Bible simply tells us to BELIEVE ON JESUS. To require someone to call, ask or pray is false and unbiblical.

God saved me, because my pray was rooted in faith. I now know that I could have just as easily believed on His name to be saved. It bothers me when preachers wrest the Scriptures. The Bible teaches in Romans 10:14 that we call because we believe. However, it is heresy to say that someone cannot be saved without praying a prayer to ask Jesus to save you. I am astonished that New IFB pastors totally ignore Jesus' words in 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟲:𝟮𝟴-𝟮𝟵, "𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗶𝗺, 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱? In the preceding video Pastor Jonathan Shelley is horribly accusing Dr. Curtis Hutson, Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold, Dr. Max Younce, Dr. Jack Hyles, Pastor Harry Ironside, Onorato Diamante, myself and other free grace preachers "wicked" and saying that we preach "another gospel." That is WRONG!!!

Galatians 2:20-21 Proves That Lordship Salvation Is Heresy

Galatians 2:20-21, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”

As we just read, the inspired King James Bible teaches that Christ lives in the believer. That is, every believer has God's gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Romans 8:9, “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” The Bible is very plain—if you do not have God's Holy Spirit living inside, you are not saved. 1st John 3:24, “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” This is the test of the Epistle of 1st John to determine if you are saved (1st John 5:13)—do you have the Holy Spirit living inside you?

Now, we just read that it is Jesus (in the form of the Holy Spirit) who lives in us. No saint of God can live the Christian life in our own strength; but rather, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.” I hope you understand that dear reader. You cannot live the Christian life on your own. We can only live the Christian life by yielding to the leading and conviction of God's Holy Spirit, who lives inside our spirit, soul and body.

Having said that as introduction, I could show you umpteen quotes from the Jehovah's Witnesses, Roman Catholics, Mormons, Seventh-Day Adventists and other pseudo-Christian cults today, who teach that salvation is a free gift without works, but then they hypocritically say you must forsake your sinful ways to be saved.

Here is one example from the Mormons...

"To repent we need to recognize and feel sorry for what we’ve done wrong, do whatever is possible to repair the damage it may have caused, and to leave our sinful behavior behind. Repentance can be difficult and requires a lot of honesty, but the joy and freedom we feel when we turn away from our sins are well worth the effort. Because Christ suffered for our sins, we can be forgiven when we repent. That’s why the Atonement is so important to all of us."

Now here is Pastor John MacArthur, practically saying the same garbage verbatim:

“Don’t believe anyone who says it’s easy to become a Christian. Salvation for sinners cost God His own Son; it cost God’s Son His life, and it’ll cost you the same thing. Salvation isn’t gained by reciting mere words. Saving faith transforms the heart, and that in turn transforms behavior. Faith’s fruit is seen in actions, not intentions. There’s no room for passive spectators: words without actions are empty and futile.” [emphasis added]

Do you see what they have wickedly done? Instead of allowing the Holy Spirit to turn us from sin as we yield to Him as a born-again child of God, Mormons and John MacArthur have made repentance from your sins as the mechanism by which you must be willing to change your behavior to be saved. Please don't miss that! Dear friend, you cannot turn from your sins!!! I said you CANNOT turn away from your sinning! That is the whole reason why Jesus died on a cross to pay for your sins and mine. That is why the inspired Holy Bible warns in Galatians 2:21, “I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.” You cannot turn from your sinful bad habits to be saved, which is why Christ came into the world to pay for your sins on the cross with His blood.

As we read in Galatians 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Turning from your sins is self-reformation!!! Nowhere in the inspired King James Bible are we taught that to be saved we must repent “of your sins” or “turn from your sins” to get to Heaven. The Bible simply says to BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (Acts 16:30-31). The only requirement to BELIEVE ON JESUS is to admit that you are a guilty sinner in God's sight (Romans 3:19-20). That's it!

Jesus died on a cross to pay for your sins. He was buried. Three days later Jesus resurrected from the dead. These three things comprise “THE GOSPEL” (i.e., the “GOOD NEWS”), by which all who BELIEVE IT are saved. Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” We are saved by BELIEVING THE GOSPEL!!! We are not saved by turning away from our sins, nor by being willing to give up our sinful bad habits, which would be works instead of grace.

As you can see, John MacArthur is in league with the Devil, the Mormon cult! The devil is in the details. If you want further evidence to verify what I am showing you, please listen to John MacArthur himself, who says that the Mormons agree with his perverse Lordship Salvation gospel so much, that MacArthur's books are required reading at Brigham Young University in Utah. Oh my! Dear reader, please RUN away from John MacArthur and the Mormons!!!

Kindly, these people are perverting the Gospel. Here is their suggested prayer to be saved:

Lord, I know that I am a sinner. If I died today, I would not go to heaven. Forgive my sin, come into my life and be my Savior. Help me live for you from this day forward. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. The Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 —WTYG Christian Radio

Asking Jesus to "come into my life" is not a part of God's simple plan of salvation. Nor is it part of the Gospel that you "Help me live for you from this day forward." It is Lordship Salvation!!!

Furthermore, not one word is mentioned about Jesus' death on the cross to pay for our sins, His burial or bodily resurrection three days later. I mean, that is "the gospel" after all according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. I have come to realize that the primary purpose of my Facebook page is to help teach professed Christians what is wrong with their distorted views of the Gospel. To that I say, Praise the Lord! Somebody needs to do it, so I gladly volunteer!

This is the consequential result of fools like Pastor Jeff Redlin, who just sent a perverted plan of salvation to tens of thousands of Florida residents. Pastor Redlin and his clown associates (like Tim Zacharias), and complicit PCC leaders as well, have MUCH blood on their hands!!! No one can be saved by turning from their sinful bad habits!!! That is works, not grace.
The truth is that nobody can turn from their sins, which is the whole reason why Jesus had to die on a cross to pay for our sins. God pity today's messed up Baptist churches. The very ones who should be telling lost sinners how to be saved are damning their souls to an eternity burning in the fires of Hell.

Turning from your sins is self-reformation, not Bible repentance. Judas turned from his sins in Matthew 27:3. The word "repented" (Greek: metamellomai, which means, "to regret") here is a different word, than "repent" (Greek: metanoia, which means, "a change of mind") that is always used in regards to salvation. Judas was sorry. He even returned the 30 pieces of silver (the going price for a slave) to the wicked Pharisees. He was a changed man. Judas turned from his sins, so he thought, but still died in His sins and went to Hell forever without Christ. You don't turn from your sins and partially trust Christ to get saved, you wholly trust in Christ who paid for your sins with His precious blood through Calvary's cross.

As we have learned in this blog, Galatians 2:20 teaches that Jesus lives the Christian life through each saint, IF we will choose to walk in the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-25), by yielding to the Holy Spirit's leading to obey God's written Word (2nd Corinthians 10:5-6). This is something entirely different, than YOU turning away from your own sins as a prerequisite to saving faith (which is a counterfeit plan of works-based-salvation). Self-reformation (nor a desire to self reform) is required or permitted in God's simple plan of salvation. You must wholly put your trust in Jesus Christ alone, because of what He has already DONE through Calvary's cross to pay your debt of sin.

SIMPLY BELIEVE THAT JESUS DID IT ALL FOR YOU! That is how you get to Heaven, and not by repenting to turn from your sinning. Jonah 3:10, “And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.” Works never saved anybody (Romans 3:19-20).

Also, nobody repented more in the Bible than God. Exodus 32:14, “And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.” Did God turn from His sins? Did God turn from His sinful way? No, God simply changed His mind, which is what repentance means in the Bible. The Devil is behind today's corrupt Bible revisions, which have blatantly changed and perverted the Words of the Living God. Jeremiah 23:36, “And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.” It is no light thing to tamper with God's Word. It is no trifle matter to change the Bible's meaning of “repent” from simply “a change of mind,” to instead mean “turn from your sin.” Clearly, these two definitions are world's apart. When Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden, he tried to turn from his sin by sewing together some fig leaves to cover his nakedness, and that of his wife Eve. But God rejected Adam's fig leaf religion, and instead killed an innocent animal (which pictured the sinless slain innocent Lamb of God for our sins), to provide clothing for Adam and Eve.

Cain, the son of Adam and Eve, tried to turn from his sin by offering God the best crops that his field's harvest could produce. But the Lord rejected Cain's offering, because it was rooted in his own self-righteousness instead of faith in the coming Messiah. The truth is that we are saved by faith alone in Jesus Christ; and then once saved Jesus lives through us, as we walk by faith, which is exactly what Galatians 2:20 teaches:

Galatians 2:20-21, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”

So, in fact, you DON'T have to “turn from your sins” or “be willing to forsake your sinful bad habits” to receive God's free gift of eternal life, because to turn from your sin would be works. The new birth is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty! The Bible says that Jesus lives in us when we get saved, as the blessed indwelling Holy Spirit. Romans 8:9 calls the Holy Spirit that “Spirit of Christ.” John 14:23, “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” This Scripture teaches that God the Father and God the Son come to live inside every saint, in the form of God the Holy Spirit.

The lost neo-evangelical crowd at Bob Jones University and Pensacola Christian College today, place the burden of dealing with sin upon the lost sinner's shoulders.

I was shocked on page 60, when I read Pensacola Christian College's counterfeit plan of salvation, in a booklet that their Campus Church mailed to my house (and thousands of other residents of Pensacola). I just received the booklet in my mailbox on November 1, 2023. What I am about to show you is straight from Satan dear reader:

“REPENTANCE — Now is the time to turn from your sin and embrace God. The act of turning away from sin is called 'repentance.' This word implies an inward decision to follow and obey God's will instead of your self-serving sins. It means changing your mind about sin and seeing it as something that grieves God. The Bible says that God patiently waits for all people to make this decision.”

Do you still think I bumped my head? I've been exposing the cult at Bob Jones University (BJU) since 2014, and now I have been exposing the cult at Pensacola Christian College (PCC) since 2021. By God's grace, I will continue to expose these wicked organizations.

To make matters even worse, on page 62 of the “John & Romans” booklet, Campus Church tells the reader that to be saved, you must make a mental check requiring the reader to agree to:

“I repent of my sins. I realize that sin is something that God hates and I no longer want to hold onto sinful bad habits in my life.”

Oh my God! Folks, this is NOT part of the Gospel which the Apostle Paul preached in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4...

1st Corinthians15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.”

There you have it! The “Gospel” is the “GOOD NEWS” that Jesus Christ DIED on a cross for our sins, He was BURIED and after three days He physically RESURRECTED from the dead. In Paul's Gospel (which Paul said he received directly from Jesus in Galatians 1:12), did you see anything that reads: “follow and obey God's will instead of your self-serving sins”? No, that is not what Paul taught. So why is PCC and their Campus Church promoting this filth? PCC and Campus Church are pulling on the same rope as the Devil.

You don't turn from your sins as qualification to trust Christ to be saved; but rather, God saves you when, by faith, you receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, believing that He was buried and then raised up from the dead three days later for your justification. Acts 3:26, “Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.” Carefully notice that Jesus does the turning, NOT YOU, from your sins.
