Calvinism Is A Lie

John 1:4-7, “In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.”

If Calvinism (and Augustinianism) is biblical, being the light of the world would have absolutely NO PURPOSE because having light would be of no help to the Pre-determined Elect for Hell, no matter how bright the light is, because they were born in darkness, and will remain in darkness for all of their lives and Eternity. So there is a purpose for everything under Heaven!

Right Doctrine Really Does Matter

One of my favorite preachers is Pastor Max D. Younce (1935-2023). From 1991 to 2023 when he graduated to Heaven, Dr. Younce had pastored a small church in Walnut Grove, Minnesota in a town of 751 people. God is using this tiny church, in a tiny town, doing a tiny work, to make a BIG IMPACT for God. I love these dear saints of God at the Heritage Baptist Bible Church!

One of the members of HBBC is Sergeant Robert Serreyn, a Gulf War Veteran. He has a website called 'Right Doctrine Matters,' which is where I got the idea for this blog. I wanted to shout out a word of praise to Robert, because his emphasis on right doctrine inspires me to work even harder for Christ. Right doctrine matters folks! Heresy is creeping into our fundamentalist churches by the hour!

Pastor Younce wisely said, “Contending for the faith is one of the great joys of the Christian life.” I couldn't agree more.
