Wicked Unbelieving Jews Are Not God's Chosen People

Exodus 19:5-6, “Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:  And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.  These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.” That's a big "IF."

In the Old Testament the Jews rebelled against God. The book of Ezekiel documents how the Jews went into spiritual adultery (idolatry), for which God divorced the nation of Israel.

Hebrews 8:9, “Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.” Now, if God regarded them not for their wickedness and idolatry, then why do so many foolish Christians regard the modern nation of Israel today? It is folly.
