To begin my blog, let me humbly but boldly say that the ONLY people I know who claim that a lost sinner can be saved from the damnable Westcott and Hort corrupt Bible revisions, are those who use, sell and promote the Devil's bibles!!! I do not know of even one King James Bible only believer who thinks that lost sinners can be saved from reading a corrupt Bible revision.
Someone posted a message today on my Facebook page, quoting Evangelist Sam Gipp at the Chick Tracts website as saying that people CAN be saved from the Devil's corrupt Bible versions. I strongly disagree with Sam Gipp in this matter. From the standpoint that a lost sinner can learn from a corrupt Bible that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, who died for humanity's sins, was buried and resurrected from the dead three days later, it would seem that they could be saved from a corrupt text.
However, if you look at it from the standpoint that a lost sinner will likely be confused upon reading Romans 10:9 in the NIV (as just one example), which reads: "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." That is damnable heresy! That is a perversion of what the Bible actually says and teaches. Here is the inspired King James Bible 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟭𝟬:𝟵, "𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱." Confessing the Lord Jesus is not the same as confessing: "Jesus is Lord!"
The Bible teaches that we are saved from INCORRUPTIBLE seed, not corruptible seed. 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟭:𝟮𝟯, “𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿.” I can show you example after example of how the modern Bible versions pervert the true meaning of repentance, and in so doing change the plan of salvation. How can a person be saved from wrong doctrine? Kindly said, Sam Gipp is a darn fool!
Remember, a good rule to follow when interpreting the Bible is to never use an obscure passage to contradict a clear one. There is much debate and controversy over the meaning of several verses in Romans chapter 10. But, thankfully, we have the entire Gospel of John to tell us how to be saved. Nowhere in John are we taught to declare that "Jesus is Lord" to get to Heaven. Wicked man added those perverse words to God's Word to contaminate it, to support their manmade damnable doctrines of devils.
No, you DON'T have to declare: "Jesus is Lord" to be saved. That is Lordship Salvation! You simply need to receive Jesus as your personal Savior. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟭:𝟭𝟮, "𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝗺, 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲:"
So I humbly believe Sam Gipp is wrong. If you lived on an island, stranded from childhood. And the only book you had to read was a corrupt Bible revision, you would have a warped view of God. For example: In Philippians 2:6 of the NIV we read, "Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;" Anybody who read this verse and took it at face value would conclude that Jesus is NOT God. But now look what the inspired King James Bible says, 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟮:𝟲, "𝗪𝗵𝗼, 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗼𝗱:" Clearly, upon reading this verse a person will conclude that Jesus is God. These modern Bibles are dangerous.
Honestly, I think it is silly to even discuss whether a lost sinner can be saved from reading these Devil's bibles. Why not just use the time tested, true and proven good ole King James Bible? Every soulwinning preacher for the past 400 years has used the King James Bible. I dare you to show me even one soulwinning preacher that uses the Devil's modern bibles! ou cannot! They all preach the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation, wrong repentance and a partial faith in Christ plus works type of false gospel.
Can a hungry person eat from a garbage pail and live? Yes, but for how long is debatable, because they will very likely become sick and malnourished. The truth is that it is highly unlikely that someone would get saved from reading the Devil's corrupted Scripture revisions. I say, NO, it is not possible for a lost sinner to get saved from a corrupt Bible revision. There are so many traps, pitfalls, omissions and additions made to the Westcott and Hort perversions of God's Word, that if you didn't have any other resources available you could never be saved.
Humbly, I think what oftentimes happens is that people have been influenced by the King James Bible, in addition to things they've learned at church here and there in their lifetime; so they know enough truth to get saved, even though they'll credit a corrupt bible for leading them to Christ. I don't buy the garbage that people can be saved from Satan's bibles.
Furthermore, Dr. Sam Gipp is a heretic on numerous issues. He denies that the King James Bible is inspired. He insanely teaches that Joseph and Mary disobeyed God by naming the Son of God "Jesus." Sam errantly claims that they were supposed to name Him "Immanuel" instead. It is a strange teaching. I agree with Pastor Steven Anderson 100% in this matter.
Sam Gipp also teaches a strange doctrine on the Rapture, saying that there will be a 40-day gap between when the dead in Christ raise up, and the living saints are taken up.
I appreciate Sam Sipp's work teaching about the history of the King James Bible. Here is: "The Answer Book." I like Evangelist Sam Gipp as a person, but he is WRONG on the name of Immanuel versus Jesus heresy. He has also childishly attacked Pastor Anderson, along with Pastor Keith Gomez (who called Steven Anderson a "punk"). No, Pastor Anderson is not a punk, he is contending for the faith as a preacher should, which is what I am now doing as well. I don't like the mudslinging and hostility between brethren.
Even worse, Pastor Keith Gomez and Evangelist Sam Gipp are caught between grace and works, errantly preaching that to get to Heaven you must “turn from your sin.” You cannot show me that false teaching from the Holy Bible. Interestingly, Pastor Gomez' church website cites Scripture passages to support their proper requirement to trust Jesus to be saved, but then do not (because they cannot) cite any Scripture passages to support the heresy that to be saved you must turn from sin. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!
It is not okay to add words to the Bible which God did not put there. In Hebrews chapters 3 and 4 God uses the Jews who wandered in the Wilderness for 40 years as an illustration of salvation. We read that the Jews perished in the Wilderness because even though they heard the Gospel that Moses preached unto them, they had no faith. 𝗛𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝟯:𝟭𝟵, "𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝗻𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳."
Chick Tracts are WRONG on Bible repentance, which makes them false prophets! Jack Chick errantly teaches that repentance means "to be willing to turn from sin." That is WORKS, not the free gift of God's grace by faith alone in Jesus. I wouldn't trust anything from Chick Tracts, including Sam Gipp. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!! You cannot show me one place in the Holy Bible where it says to repent "of your sins," or to "turn from your sins" to receive God's free gift of eternal life. The only thing that we need to turn from is unbelief. 𝗛𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝟯:𝟭𝟵, "𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝗻𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳."
Anyone who defends the Devil's Bibles is foolish. These modern perversions are terrible. God only authored ONE BOOK, not two, not five, not three hundred. JUST ONE INSPIRED HOLY BIBLE!!! I believe we have that one inspired Book today in the blessed King James Bible.
