Evangelist Sam Gipp's Counterfeit Plan Of Salvation

Galatians 1:6-9, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

Dear reader, let us begin by defining “
the Gospel with the inspired Holy Scriptures. What is the Gospel? ...
1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
So according to the Word of God, as we just read, the Gospel (meaning “Good News”) is comprised of three things:
  1. Jesus DIED on the cross to pay our debt of sin.
  2. Jesus was BURIED.
  3. Jesus bodily RESURRECTED three days later from the dead.
We know that Jesus is also the only begotten Son of God, the Christ, John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” We know from the Scriptures that a person must realize he or she is a guilty sinner to be saved:
Romans 3:19-23, “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
In these passages of Scripture we see God's simple plan of salvation. Anyone who comes to God as a guilty sinner, receiving Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for their sins, believing that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God who was buried after dying on the cross, and raised up three days later from the dead, is saved. It is that simple! Eternal life is a free gift from God, paid for by Jesus' precious blood (Romans 5:15-18; 1st Peter 1:18-19).

Evangelist Sam Gipp's Damnable False Plan Of Salvation

Now having showed you THE TRUTH, let me show you Evangelist Sam Gipp's different plan of salvation, which does NOT match what the inspired Holy Bible teaches. On Sam Gipp's YouTube channel, in a heretical YouTube video titled: “How To Be Saved,” Gipp states the following (which he admittedly copied in part from cartoon evangelist Jack Chick's religious tract, “The Sissy”)...
“First, you must admit you are a sinner. You have broken God's laws. Then, you must be willing to turn from sin and reject it. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried and rose from the dead. Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Savior.

Simply pray something like this, and mean it with all your heart:

Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood, and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior.” ~Dr. Sam Gipp

You can watch Sam Gipp's heretical YouTube video for yourself, from which I transcribed the preceding quote...

Evangelist Sam Gipp's Counterfeit Plan Of Salvation

That is NOT the Gospel taught in the Holy Bible. To the unlearned Christian believer, the preceding false plan of salvation may not seem like a big deal, but it is dear friend. Remember, the serpent (the Devil according to Revelation 20:2) is the most subtle of all creatures. Genesis 3:1, “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” Satan is a beautiful liar! The Devil is a cunning liar, manipulator and deceiver.

When criminals counterfeit money, they intentionally try to make their corrupt money appear as close to real money as possible. Satan does the same thing with religion. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that all of the pseudo (false) Christian cults believe that Jesus is the Christ. It shouldn't come as a surprise that Roman Catholics believe Jesus died on a cross, was buried and resurrected three days later. Hey, that is THE GOSPEL! So are Roman Catholics saved? No, they are not, because they also require keeping Seven Sacraments to get to Heaven. The first sacrament in the prisonhouse of Catholicism is water baptism. All of the pseudo-Christian cults require water baptism to get into the Kingdom of Heaven.

We know from the Bible that water baptism is NOT required to get to Heaven. The thief on the cross didn't get baptized. The Bible plainly teaches in Galatians 1:6 that there is only one Gospel, not two or more. So we know that the thief on the cross got saved the same way that everyone does, which is by faith alone in the Good News of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and risen. No one in the Old Testament was every water baptized for salvation.

Turning Away From Sinful Ways Is WORKS!

The Gospel of John is God's Gospel tract, as we read earlier in John 20:31. In the book of John we find the word “believe” mentioned at least 85 times in various forms, but there is no requirement anywhere in the Gospel of John to be water baptized. And for that matter, neither is the word “repent” mentioned even once in the Gospel of John. This is because repentance is automatic. To “repent” in the Bible regarding salvation simply means “to think differently.”

For example: Mark 1:15 says, “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” The Greek word for “repent” in this Bible verse is metanoeo, a verb form which means: “to think differently.” So a literal interpretation of this Scripture passage is: “Think differently and believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, was buried and physically resurrected three days later from the dead.” You don't repent AND believe, you repent TO believe.

Repentance facilitates believing, by which we are saved. Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. You don't get saved by repenting, you get saved by BELIEVING; but no one has ever been saved who didn't also repent. Repentance and faith are as two sides of one coin. They are inseparable from each other.

I love this helpful quote on repentance from Pastor Harry A. Ironside (1876-1951):
“Which comes first, repentance or faith? In Scripture we read, 'Repent ye, and believe the gospel.' Yet we find true believers exhorted to 'repent, and do the first works.' So intimately are the two related that you cannot have one without the other. The man who believes God repents; the repentant soul puts his trust in the Lord when the Gospel is revealed to him. Theologians may wrangle over this, but the fact is, no man repents until the Holy Spirit produces repentance in his soul through the truth. No man believes the Gospel and rests in it for his own salvation until he has judged himself as a needy sinner before God. And this is repentance.” [emphasis added] ~Pastor Harry Ironside, 'Except Ye Repent,' p. 16
Yes, that is it! Repentance is simply the acknowledgment that I am as guilty a sinner as God hath declared me to be in His holy Word. Pastor Ironside further offers these helpful words...
“The Gospel is not a call to repentance, or to amendment of our ways, to make restitution for past sins, or to promise to do better in the future. These things are proper in their place, but they do not constitute the Gospel; for the Gospel is not good advice to be obeyed, it is good news to be believed. Do not make the mistake then of thinking that the Gospel is a call to duty or a call to reformation, a call to better your condition, to behave yourself in a more perfect way than you have been doing in the past …

Nor is the Gospel a demand that you give up the world, that you give up your sins, that you break off bad habits, and try to cultivate good ones. You may do all these things, and yet never believe the Gospel and consequently never be saved at all.”

SOURCE: Harry A. Ironside, from the sermon: What Is The Gospel?
Amen and amen! When the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas in Acts 16:30b, “
Sirs, what must I do to be saved?, their simple reply in Acts 16:31a was to: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” The free offer of salvation by faith alone in Jesus Christ was extended to the man's entire family, if they wanted God's gift. Dear reader, please notice that Paul and Silas DIDN'T pressure the unsaved man to forsake his sinful ways to be saved. They DIDN'T tell the Philippian jailer to be willing to stop living in sin, turn away from his sin, or be willing to reject his sinful bad habits to get to Heaven. Sam Gipp is a theological liar—a deadly false prophet who needs to be exposed and rebuked sharply in pulpits across America. ...
Titus 1:9-14, “Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.”
In typical cult fashion, Sam Gibb mixes works with grace to confuse people. One of my favorite sermons is by Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold...

Caught Between Grace And Works
(an excellent sermon by Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold)

Tragically, most pastors and clergy today are caught between grace and works, preaching another gospel of partial faith in Christ plus WORKS!!! Sam Gipp and Jack Chick (1924-2016) have blood on their hands. Sadly, Jack Chick printed and sold over 1,000,000,000 religious tracts, all of which lied to lost sinners, requiring them to be willing to stop living a sinful lifestyle to get to Heaven. THAT IS WORKS!!!

Sadly, Sam Gipp has also fallen for the same Satanic deception. Gipp is deceived of the Devil, preaching a false gospel for filthy lucre's sake. I must also warn you about Pastor Keith Gomez in Elgin, Illinois. Pastor Gomez is close personal ministry friends with Sam Gipp. These men are all corrupt in their theology! No where does the inspired King James Bible teach us to “turn from your sinful ways” or to “reject your sins” to be saved. Ungodly religious men embellished God's simple plan of salvation, adding these unbiblical requirements to get to Heaven.

It is man's sinful nature to have a tendency to want to help God save us. If you fully understand that salvation is of the Lord (Jonah 2:9), then it will become obvious that you don't need to give up your sinful ways to receive God's gift. Eternal life is a free gift! You don't have to qualify for a gift, you simply take it. Dear reader, Jesus died for your sins! Christ died for the ungodly (Romans 5:6-9). That means you and me, because we are all ungodly sinners!

You don't have to be willing to turn away from your sins to be saved, because that would be WORKS! Jonah 3:10, “And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.” God spared judgment upon the Ninevites (who were Assyrians) because they turned away from their evil ways, but they didn't get saved. No one has ever been saved by WORKS!!! Romans 4:4, “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.” As we just read, if salvation had ever been by works, then it would have been by debt instead of by grace. God would have OWED them salvation because they did WORKS to earn it. Salvation has always been only by God's grace!

One hundred years later the decedents of the Ninevites returned to their evil ways, and God sent the prophet Nahum to proclaim imminent destruction upon them. They destruction came in 612 BC when the kingdom of Babylon conquered the Assyrians. No one has ever been saved by their own self-righteous works. Turning away from sinful ways is WORKS!!!

Furthermore, we read in Jonah 3:10 that God Himself “repented.” If repentance means to be willing to turn away from one's sinful ways, then we have a big problem here, because God cannot do evil. James 1:13-14, “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.” God cannot sin. God is holy, just, sinless and righteous in every way. I am so thankful that the God of the universe is a good, reasonable, fair and righteous being! Could you imagine if Satan were the highest power in the universe? I thank God for God!!!

Clearly, God did not turn away from His sins in Jonah 3:10. God simply changed His mind, deciding not to destroy the people of the city of Nineveh at that time. Repentance is simply a change of mind toward God (Acts 20:21), where a lost sinner acknowledges THE TRUTH (2nd Timothy 2:25). The truth dear friend is that you are a guilty sinner. The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). That includes the second death in Hell (Revelation 21:8, 20:11-15). The GOOD NEWS is that God the Father gave up His only begotten Son, Jesus, as a sacrifice on the cross to die for your sins and mine. Jesus shed His blood for our sins, and ultimately sprinkled that literal blood upon the heavenly Mercy Seat (Hebrews 9:12, 22-24; 12:24). We are saved by faith in the blood of Jesus (1st Peter 1:18-19). Romans 5:9, “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”

My only hope for Heaven is Jesus Christ and His righteousness. Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:” There is nothing I have ever done or ever will do that can get me to Heaven. My only hope is in Jesus Christ, because of what He did through Calvary's cross to pay for my sins, and that He was buried and bodily raised up from the dead the third day. It is done! Jesus paid it all!!!

Kindly said, I don't have to turn away from my sinful ways, nor even be willing to turn away from my sinful ways, to be saved. Eternal life is the free gift of God. Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Anyone who thinks that they must turn away from their sins to be saved, is not saved at all. The only proper mindset that can save is faith alone in Christ alone. WORKS has no place in God's simple plan of salvation.

Tragically, Sam Gipp is not saved. To be saved Gipp must repent of his wrong repentance. He must forsake trusting in his self-righteous efforts to turn away from his sins, and instead trust only in God's righteousness which is imparted by faith alone. What saith the Scripture? John 6:40, “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” The will of God the Father for salvation is to BELIEVE ON JESUS, plain and simple. What Sam Gipp is preaching is another gospel. Jack Chick preached another gospel.

The heretical idea that you must forsake a sinful lifestyle to be saved came from the Devil, not the Holy Bible. In God's true plan of salvation, Christ came into the world to pay your debt of sin. In God's true plan of salvation, He wants to give you forgiveness of sins and eternal life as a free gift. In God's true plan of salvation, there can be no stipulations or obligations for it to truly remain a free gift. Woe unto wicked preachers who add to the Gospel, perverting God's simple plan of salvation, which is through faith alone without any works.

Also, no where in the inspired Word of God are we taught to invite Christ into our life to be saved, as Gipp requires. Sam Gipp is a false prophet! Shame on anyone who wickedly bids Godspeed to Sam Gipp and his counterfeit plan of salvation. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

If you feel confused dear reader, I humbly challenge you to sit back and just quietly listen to the entire Gospel of John. If you'll do that, I I love doing often, you will see clearly God's simple plan of salvation. Thank you for reading.

Damnable Heresy Preached By Pastor Danny Castle

Galatians 1:6-9, “ I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

I love being a Bible preacher. I cannot think of anything I'd rather do in the world than to preach THE TRUTH. The reason why is because there is nothing more important in this universe than THE TRUTH of how to get to Heaven.

Having said that, I have also learned that Satan is always trying to corrupt God's simple plan of salvation, to prevent lost sinners from seeing the glorious light of the Gospel, lest they be saved. 2nd Corinthians 4:3-4, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. As such, there is a burning desire in my heart of hearts to contend for the Christian faith, to warn everyone I can about false teachings concerning the Gospel of free grace.

In this blog article I need to address an older sermon that was preached by Pastor Danny Castle in the early 1980's. I have listened to Pastor Danny Castle's sermons for the past 15 years and I've never heard anything this horrifying spoken by him. Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Let me say from the get go that I love and support Pastor Danny Castle's ministry. I have been listening to Brother Castle's Christ-honoring sermons for the past 15 years. Unfortunately, I need to expose this sermons videos simply because they are still posted on YouTube...

Danny Castle - HELL! The Everlasting Home Of The LOST!
(1980s) (RARE SERMON)

NO ONE is saved who believes that you have to forsake your sinful behavior to get to Heaven. Christ dies on the cross to pay for our sins. Jesus does NOT demand that we commit to stop living a lifestyle of sinning to be saved. That is NOT what it means to “repent in the Bible, and you cannot show me one place in the Scriptures where it says to turn away from your sinning to be saved. The Bible doesn't even say to repent of your sins! To repent means a change of mind,” nothing more. I hear many corrupt preachers teaching that repentance means a change of mind which results in a change of behavior. That is the heresy taught at Pensacola Christian College (PCC). That makes PCC a religious cult!

I also found the same preceding sermon located here on YouTube. Sadly, the number one public threat has always been its false preachers. Now, Pastor Castle doesn't preach this damnable heresy anymore, so I support his ministry today. Unfortunately, when he was younger 40 years ago, Pasto Castle was woefully ignorant of the truth of the Gospel. Albeit, as is true of all preachers (including myself), Brother Danny honed his preaching over the years. I can say with absolute certainty that Danny Castle WAS NOT SAVED at the time he preached this horrible sermon.

Here is a recent sermon by Pastor Danny Castle, in which you can hear that he has since got saved and corrected his beliefs, versus back in 1982...

What Must I Do To Be Saved?

I Am Being Persecuted For Telling THE TRUTH

A lot of pastors are upset with me. 2nd Timothy 3:12, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” I am infamous in many Baptist churches for being like Elijah the prophet, whom wicked Ahab called a “troublemaker”...
1st Kings 18:17-18, “And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel? And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim.”
Bless God for godly troublemakers who preach the truth and stand against evil!!!

When I attended the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam for a year in 2014, the Lord laid a heavy burden upon my heart because the pastors of Harvest were preaching another gospel. They were preaching the Devil's popular lie of Lordship Salvation, which says that more than faith is required to get to Heaven. I took my own money and purchased a few hundred dollars worth of books from Berean Publications and other places, to give to the pastors of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. Sadly, they rejected and resented the books. They ousted me from my church family as a TROUBLEMAKER!!! But in fact, THEY were the troublemakers, because they preached another gospel, and promoted the Devil's corruptible seed.

I was wrongly accused by Harvest's shameful pastors of causing “confusion” and “divisiveness” in the church. How ironic! In the presence of Marty Herron (their senior pastor), his assistant pastor Joe Hensen admitted to me in the church office, that on any given Sunday Harvest has at least TWO DOZEN different Bible revisions circulating in the pews. Who is confused? What saith the Scripture? Acts 19:32, “Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.” The man with two watches set differently never knows what time it is; and likewise, the man with two different Bibles cannot know THE TRUTH.

How ludicrous that Harvest's pastors on Guam would falsely accuse me of causing confusion, when they themselves have built a prisonhouse of confusion! Sadly, this sore evil exists in at least 80% of Baptist churches today (including the Southern Baptist Convention's 45,000 cult churches). Any so-called “church” that preaches the Devil's falsehood of Lordship Salvation is a cult, not a true church! A church is a gathering of true born-again believers, not hellbound religious people.

I make no apologies for telling THE TRUTH. I have been officially banned from attending Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College (PCC). The real reason why is because Pastor Jeff Redlin is a heretic, and he knows it! When I attended Campus Church in 2021, I was slickened at a Wednesday evening Bible study (after watching a heretical Ken Ham video sponsored by PCC), to hear assistant pastor Timothy Zacharias preach false doctrine. To thousands of people, Pastor Zacharias said, quote: “Repentance is a change of mind which results in a change of behavior.” That is FALSE DOCTRINE!!!

That was on July 21, 2021. So the next morning I emailed Pastor Redlin (PCC's senior incompetent pastor). He defended Pastor Zacharias' heretical teaching fully. I learned later that this false doctrine if officially taught in the Foundation's Class at Campus Church. Dear friend, PCC is corrupt on their doctrine, perverting the Gospel.

In October of 2022, at the Pensacola Interstate Fair, I visited the religious booth for PCC. Two fools ran the booth, both of whom told me that they believe and teach Lordship Salvation. One of the men was named “Josh,” but I didn't get the other guy's name. They told me that there is justification, sanctification and glorification, and these three cannot be separated. Folks, that is CALVINISM!!! That is the same damnable deadly heresy being taught by the Calvinist cult at Bob Jones University!!!

If you are wrong in your doctrine concerning salvation, you will go to Hell forever. The Gospel does not come in different flavors!!! You either have the proper Biblical mindset as a child of God, that you are saved solely by faith in the Good News of Christ's crucifixtion, burial and resurrection; or else you are trusting in partial faith in Christ, plus something more, and you are NOT saved at all.

In the church that I have been attending now for a year and a half, one of the deacons in the church thinks you must be water baptized to get to Heaven. I asked him directly if that is what he believes, and he confirmed it. That same dear man also thinks that you must repent to turn away from your past sinful ways to get to Heaven. Unfortunately for him, that is NOT the simple plan of salvation set forth in the inspired Word of God. Tragically, what that deacon believes in the small Baptist church I attend aligns with what the Satanic Churches of Christ (COC) believes. COC is a cult! Worldwide, there are approximately 3,000,000 members of the COC. In the United States there are about 1,300,000 COC members. Interestingly, there are 1,000,000 COC members in India, and another 1,000,000 members in Africa. Go figure!

But worst of all is that the younger pastor of the church I attend doesn't properly feed his congregation. In fact, the congregation of every church is God's flock, not the pastor's. Jesus said that there would be tares (unsaved religious people) growing amongst the wheat (born-again believers in Christ) in every church (Matthew 13:29-30). In Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus gives us one of the most shocking and eye-opening true stories in the Bible. Jesus tells us about a devoted group of religious people, who went about doing “many wonderful works,” and who “prophesied” (preached) in Jesus' name, and even cast out devil's in Jesus' name. They even followed Him earnestly, calling Jesus “Lord, Lord.” Yet, in Matthew 7:23 Jesus spoke these horrifying words to them: “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Sadly, that is exactly what Pastor Castle preached back in the early days of his ministry. Pastor Castle admits that he was ignorant back then, and I love Brother Danny for admitting his mistakes. Unfortunately, those sermons are still out there on YouTube, misleading lost sinners about what is required by God to get to Heaven. In fact, Biblically, you DO NOT have to turn away from past sinful ways to be saved. This heresy plagues churches today. Satan is a beautiful liar (2nd Corinthians 11:13-15). The Devil always pays with counterfeit money!

Speaking of the Devil, look no further than the ungodly Evangelist Ken Ham, who preaches the same damnable false gospel as the Churches of Christ, and Pastor Danny Castle in the 1980's...

The FALSE GOSPEL of ANSWERS IN GENESIS and KEN HAM

Somebody's got to care! ...
“The world will go to Hell unless somebody is authoritative!” —Pastor Jack Hyles, “I Shall Not Be Moved
Here is some horrifying damnable transcript from Pastor Castle's terrible sermon that I mentioned earlier:
“Two things I'm going to tell you as I close. You gotta do two things if you don't want to go to hell. And somebody needs to do them this morning. Number one, you've got to TURN FROM YOUR SIN. God does not want to send you to Hell. He don't want you to go to Hell. You put yourself in Hell if you choose to go there. You must turn from your sin. If you hold onto your sin, you're going to go to Hell with them! They'll take you there! A man says: 'I don't want to go to Hell, but I'm going to party and I'm going to do this, and I'm going to live it up and live a promiscuous lifestyle, and I'm going to be a homosexual, and I'm going to be this and I'm going to be that.' You cannot come to God until you're willing to let go! But you know that. And I'll tell you something, there ain't no sin in this world worth going to Hell for.

...number two, you've gotta turn to Jesus Christ.” [emphasis added]

BLASPHEMY!!! Ladies and gentlemen, that is DAMNABLE HERESY!!! That is ANOTHER GOSPEL!!! You cannot show me one Bible verse to support those false claims by Pastor Castle. Eternal life is the free gift of God, through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 5:15-28; 6:23). Getting saved does NOT require “two things as Pastor Castle errantly teaches; but rather, faith is the only righteous thing that I can do. What saith the Scripture? John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” I agree with Evangelist John R. Rice (1895-1980), who said that repentance and faith are not two steps to getting saved; but rather, they are two parts of one step of simply believing on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Bible repentance is simply “a change of mind (Greek noun: metanoia) unto THE TRUTH. 2nd Timothy 2:25, “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;” Repentance is NOT forsaking your sinful lifestyle! That would be WORKS!!! Jonah 3:10, “ And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.” Romans 3:20, “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” WORKS have no place in God's simple plan of salvation.

Now, God knows that my intent in writing this blog is not to criticize Pastor Castle. I love the guy in Christ, sincerely. It does hurt my heart to publish this blog, but I ten thousand times would rather proclaim THE TRUTH to warn people about false doctrine that sends lost sinners to Hell, than I would to get along with preacher friends. Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” My loyalty is to God and truth, not men and institutions. I learned that principle from Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001).

Anytime that a preacher, or a friend of such a preacher, uploads his sermons to the internet, they become susceptible to scrutiny and criticism. Since this heretical sermon video exists on multiple YouTube channels and is increasing in popularity, I am compelled toearnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 1:3). I love and respect Pastor Danny Castle, but my loyalty is toward God and truth, not men. As a fundamentalist Baptist Bible preacher, I have to expose falsehoods wherever and whenever I find them (Titus 1:13-14).

Paying The Price For Telling The Truth

I unintentionally make enemies everywhere I go, in the Lord, because I find corrupt pastors in every church that I attend, and I SPEAK UP for God. The Devil wants us to SHUT UP, but God wants us to SPEAK UP. I have been asked kindly to join the Baptist church that I am now attending since 2021, but I kindly declined. I cannot in good conscience join a church whose pastor requires people to repent by turning away from their past sinful ways. That is what the church believes, and it is heresy. I keep asking myself why I even go there. The answer is simply that I have no family or friends in Pensacola. I am lonely. Albeit, I would rather be lonely than support heretics. The church's pastor has never one time initiated a conversation with me. That is truly pathetic. Not once in the 15 months that I have attended the church I'm in now, has the Bible tried to talk with me. They have never asked for my contact information. If I decided never to go back again, they wouldn't care and I'd never hear from them.

Pastor Jeff Redlin has banned me in writing from attending PCC's Campus Church, as of August 2, 2022, so I cannot go there anymore. That is a hateful pastor, not a man who walks with God. Pastor Jeff Redlin is an ungodly yuppie type academic, who sinfully and woefully lacks God's love and compassion for individual people. That is truly pathetic! SHAME on PCC leadership. I sent a letter to PCC as well, besides Campus Church. PCC totally ignored me, which is a form of abuse, and shows that they are wicked respecters of persons at PCC. I apologized for criticizing them on social media three times, but they refuse to forgive or work with me so we can reconcile. I humbly offered to do whatever they require to make peace, but they have no compassion for hurting sinner's in the PCC leadership.

God knows that I am just about ready to quit church altogether, as did Michael P. Bowen in his beautiful book: I NEVER KNEW YOU,” which he says on page 117...
“I cannot sit in any of these churches in my current home town because none of them believe what God said about Jesus. No. It’s better to stay at home; in fact, our very first president, George Washington, said that it’s better to be alone than to be in bad company. In fact, the bible tells true believers to never give money to a false ministry and to never wish an unbeliever “Godspeed.”
Dear reader, RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!! Even though Pastor Castle who supplied the sermon, and the sincere people who shared this video on YouTube mean well, they are pulling on the same rope as the Devil by promoting ANOTHER GOSPEL. Our text passage of Scripture from Galatians 1:6-9 warns that there is a curse from God upon anyone who preaches a different gospel than the one Jesus Himself gave to the Apostle Paul. Galatians 1:12. “For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

I think that Pilgrim's Progress author, John Bunyan, said it best:
“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —John Bunyan (1628-1688)
Amen and amen, I couldn't have said it better myself. Bravo to Brother John Bunyan. I covered a few different bases in this blog, but it all ties together. The bottom line is that the Devil has successfully crept a counterfeit gospel into nearly all churches today. I cannot find a single church in the city of Pensacola that doesn't pervert the Gospel of free grace. Sadly, over 95% of pastors today misunderstanding what it means to repent to be saved. In the blessed Gospel of John, you won't even find the word repent mentioned once. That speaks volumes! The reason is simply because the man who BELIEVES has also repented.

Repentance and faith happen simultaneously (at the same time). You don't repent AND believe to be saved, as Pastor Castle errantly taught in the preceding sermon video on YouTube. The Bible teaches that you repent TO believe. John 3:20, “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” So the person who comes to Christ by faith to be saved has changed their mind toward sin, only in the sense that they now admit to being a guilty sinner. That is all that God requires, not that you commit or desire to turn away from living a lifestyle of sinning (which would be WORKS). Just because preachers have wrangled over this doctrine for hundreds of years doesn't mean that they are all correct, nor does it mean that it doesn't matter what we choose to believe about repentance. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

The bottom line is that you CANNOT Biblically support the false idea that sins must be forsaken to be saved (that is the heresy taught by Pastor Marty Herron). Nor does the Bible provide any support for the false idea that a person must at least be willing to turn away from their sinful ways to be saved (that is the heresy taught by cartoon evangelist, Jack Chick). Heresy abounds in the churches today!!! It frustrates me daily. My web visitors regularly ask me for a good church to attend, but I cannot help them, because there are few good churches anymore, let along great churches. A church that requires people to turn away from past sinful ways is a CULT, not a church.

All that God requires for you to be saved, is that you acknowledge being a guilty sinner. Romans 3:19, “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped [of self righteous boasting], and all the world may become guilty before God.” I 100% agree with Pastor Harry A. Ironside (1876-1951), who beautifully said:
And this is repentance.” (Except Ye Repent, p. 16) [emphasis added]
Yes, absolutely, that is it!!! That is what it means to repent to be saved. Oh to God that pastors today would study the Word of Truth to be approved unto God (2nd Timothy 2:15). Again, Pastor Danny Castle doesn't preach that damnable heresy anymore. We all learn over the years as we go, honing our doctrine and preaching. I DO support Pastor Castle and his soulwinning ministry in Morganton, North Carolina today. God is using Brother Danny to reach thousands of families and individuals for Jesus Christ, through their Bus Ministry.

Albeit, I wanted to use this 40-year-old heretical sermon as a tool to teach people what NOT to believe. What saith the Scripture? 1st Corinthians 11:19, “For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.” I love you in Christ, whoever you may be, which is why I write blogs at all. I just want to be a blessing for my blessed God, Lord, Friend and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you for reading my blog.
