Matthew 4:4: “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
There is a wacky teaching becoming popular on the internet, which says that the book of Hebrews (and portions of James and Matthew) were only written to the Jews, and don't apply for all believers today. Dear reader, that claim is a lie of the Devil! God author ALL of the Holy Bible, and addressed it to ALL MEN. Our text verse from Matthew 4:4 ( a quote Jesus made from Moses in Deuteronomy 8:3), plainly teaches that God intended for man (not just Jews) to live by EVERY WORD that proceeds out of His mouth. If God had only intended certain passages, chapters or books of the Holy Bible only meant for Jews, then He would have said so, but HE DIDN'T!
I am amazed at the gross ignorance of so many people concerning the Bible. The Apostle Peter warned about messing with the Bible. If you don't know what you're talking about, then keep your mouth shut! ...
2nd Peter 3:16-17, “As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.”
It is a very serious matter to God, when someone changes and wrongly interprets His Word. Most people haven't a clue how to RIGHTLY DIVIDE the Word of God. Sadly, ungodly men like Dr. Steve Pettit are corrupting thousands of impressionable youth with his damnable doctrines of devils at Bob Jones University (BJU). Calvinism is of the Devil, which BJU has sadly succumbed to in recent decades. Tragically, the same can be said for the cesspool of iniquity at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, a once great institution when Dr. Harry A. Ironside (1876-1951) was their pastor (1930-1948). Harry Ironside despised Calvinism, yet Moody Bible Institute today lies and tries to make Dr. Ironside a mild Calvinist, merely because they have been deceived by Pastor John MacArthur (a hard core 5-point Calvinist). To the man with a hammer in his hand, everything starts looking like a nail sticking up. So because MBI has sold out to the Devil, they are attempting to drag Pastor Ironside down with them into Hell. Not a chance! RUN away from Moody Bible College today!
The book of Hebrews is part of EVERY WORD spoken by almighty God. Some heretics cannot explain Hebrews chapter 6, which to an unlearned person might appear to teach Lordship Salvation. It certainly does NOT! Hebrews 6 simply teaches that if you reject Christ as your Savior, you've fallen from grace, that is, you've missed the only bus going to Heaven. So in their ignorance they attempt to say that Hebrews was only written to Israel. That is nonsense my friend. Although the epistle itself was addressed to the Jews, God intended for it to be read and obeyed by all mankind. The same can be said of the Apostle Paul's epistles to the churches of Corinth, Galatia, Ephesus, Colossi, et cetera. Were those books also not intended for every Christian believer? Of course they were meant to be read, cherished and obeyed by everyone.
God authored the Bible to every MAN! We read in Ecclesiastes 12:13 that the whole duty of MAN is to fear God and keep His Commandments. Since those Commandments are recorded in the Holy Bible, then obviously God meant for ALL MEN to embrace and obey the Word of God. 1st Corinthians 2:14-16 teaches that the natural (or unregenerate) man cannot understand the things of God, but he or she CAN understand the Bible, specifically the Gospel of John, enough to be saved (John 20:31).
I heard a preacher foolishly say that no one can be saved without another Christian present to explain the Bible to them. He used the situation of the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8:36-38, where Philip witnessed to him from the book of Isaiah, and led the curious man to Christ. However, I do not find anywhere in the Bible where it says someone cannot be saved without a soulwinner present. 2nd Timothy 3:15, “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” Paul reminded young Timothy that the SCRIPTURES made him wise unto salvation. So clearly the Bible is enough to lead someone to Christ.
John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” Again, I do not find anywhere taught in the Scriptures where you need a Christian to be saved. The Apostle John said he penned the Gospel of John, so that the Bible itself could convince men of the truth of the Gospel, and by believing they are saved. So, clearly that preacher is wrong to say that you cannot be saved with just the Bible. Preachers says the darndest things!!!
Be careful who you listen to dear reader. I was saddened to find YouTube videos by Miss Renee Roland. She has thousands of ignorant followers. Renee denies the reality of a burning everlasting Hell for all Christ rejecters. Renee is a false prophet!!! It disgusts me to see that she has hundreds of foolish people bragging on her dangerous videos. Renee seems to be correct on the Gospel, but for her to deny the existence of eternal damnation in a literal burning place of Hell shows that she doesn't know how to rightly divide the Holy Bible. Therefore, you simply cannot trust any of her theology.
Here we see God's Word once again vindicated, that women ought not teach doctrine or usurp authority over men (1st Corinthians 14:35; 1st Timothy 2:12-14). Renee bellows out in a rough voice, authoritative in her YouTube preaching, which is very unladylike; and worse, she is preaching heresy. Ignorant people follow ignorant people. In this perverse generation, people will literally follow just about anybody who has something to say. Genuine truth-tellers have the least amount of followers! The Bible is 100% against ALL women preachers!!!
The purpose of my online ministry is not to attack others, but to help people by preaching THE TRUTH, which oftentimes necessitates exposing false teachers. Many false prophets have gone out into the world the Bible says. 1st John 4:1, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” We try (test) then with the inspired King James Bible. Anything that contradicts God's Word is a lie. There is no controversy if you believe the Bible. Thank you for reading.
